We replaced our master bedroom carpet due to water line leak / damage in Nov 2015. We decided to go with Carpet One of Loves Park, IL since they had installed the flooring when the house was built a few years ago. Carpet we selected has a grid pattern and we noticed it had been installed crooked as soon as we approached entrance into the bedroom from hallway. Then we saw the huge flaw line that ran down the center of the carpet. How could anyone install carpet with a very noticeable flaw and not stop the job or say anything to the homeowner? We contacted Carpet One - Loves Park, IL and the store manager came out to take a look at it. He agreed there was indeed a very obvious factory flaw in the carpet and said they would replace it. Weeks went by and no word. We have made several phone calls to the store manager and he refuses to return our calls. Because of this, we have made several trips to the store to talk to him directly. Every time we talk to him, we get a different answer on the status of the carpet order. The last conversation we had a couple weeks ago he promised the carpet had been ordered and it would be here on July 12. When July 12 came and went, we drove to the store once again and asked where the carpet is and requested a copy of the order / warranty claim to confirm it had actually been ordered. Store manager told us the "computers are down" and he would mail us a copy. Here it is July 25, 2016 and still no carpet or verification that it has actually been ordered. What kind of company treats customers this way? All we want is the first-quality carpet we ordered and paid for. If this is the way Carpet One of Loves Park, IL treats all their customers, I'm sure glad we didn't go with them for the hardwood and tile floors that were replaced at the same time. Needless to say, we have told everyone we know - family, friends, neighbors, our home builder, etc about this store and the terrible treatment we have received. We have done nothing wrong and just want what we paid for. I'll continue to post on this website to let others know what our experience has been like with Carpet One - Loves Park, IL.

We ordered our flooring over a year ago and to this day it is not finished. They had to reinstall our entryway and part of the kitchen flooring because of poor installation which took many months to get that accomplished and the the wood floors that have been on order since July for the 3rd time are still not installed or have we yet to get a call about scheduling it. We have tried almost on a weekly basis of contacting the owner and keep getting different answers, or no return ohone calls. We have been trying to get Corporate involved but they have said that they are limited because of it being a privately owned store, but yet they represent the Carpet One name.
