They try to attract new potential customers by spreading misleading message - offering 10 EUR for joining their mobile bank, but actually not giving it: bunq(.)com/invite/DCVisser
For example you register using that link, where it's written: "Get €10 when you sign up and use your card", but actually in case you could get it, you need to buy Premium membership, which costs a lot, and it wasn't written that you won't get it with Free membership, so that's why their marketing team is spreading misleading information, because there were no assumptions in the webpage that leaded me there by affiliate/invitation link, that you need to get Premium account.
All in all, I didn't get what I was promised to, so I closed the account instantly.

It s a rip off. Put money in the account almost 3 months a ago, ordered the card twice but never arrived. I wanted to use the money in my holidays but couldn’t. Never using it again!! It’s an absolutely joke!!

Absolutelly ridiculous! I had bunq for years since it was still unknown! All of the sudden they froze my account and said that my account will be terminated because of conflict of intrest! I asked them to explain me exactly what terms i broke and they refuse to give me any further explanation! Dont trust Bunq, they will freeze your bank account out of the blue without a legit reason and you will remain without money in a emergency situation! Scumbags!

I’ve recently had my account closed with Bunq something regarding suspicious activity?????
They’ve given no explanation and just quoted excerpts from terms and conditions.
Was working fine to start I may add.
But they promised the money in my frozen account would be returned to my last bank account used within 24 hours, 48 hours has passed and I can’t even access my Bunq App now to ask any questions.
The concept is good, but the customer liaising and lack of information when something is wrong is absolutely shameful and also terribly frustrating when you cannot speak to someone to resolve, if this is the way technology is going virtual everything I’m glad to be out

I downloaded their app and opened an account after seeing a lot of their ads in social media. I never used their card or sent them any money but during the one month I have been with them, they sent me 2 debit cards and almost daily emails, sms and app notifications asking to fill up more details. I replayed twice to their emails asking to stop spamming me and close my account as I do not trust sending money to such an amateur run company. They never got back to me or stopped spamming...

Simply brilliant - frictionless, responsive and streets ahead of any if the trad banks, who, it must be said, are difficult at first when you transfer funds to Bunq.
Customer service is fast and in ENGLISH once you work out how to navigate there...

the best thing about working here is I got to meet great clients and talented workmates. However, these things do not make up for the incompetent way management treats the employees. Managers' micromanaging has gotten so bad that even the company's culture is being micromanaged. The work hours are very long, and you are expected to prioritize work over everything. This is also made worse by the rigid working hours. in short, management treats employees like robots and only as a means to the company's goals.

Create a Clear Policy and Don't Suspend Account Unreasonably
PROS: Free to open a Bunq Account, offers personal and business accounts, everything can be done through the app.
CONS: I was hesitant to try this app and how I wished I followed that instinct. By the time that I have created an account and use the app to transfer my savings, they have suspended my account the next day without proving a clear reason. I have waited almost two months to get my money back and contacted their CSR but they were unhelpful. It is frustrating.

Closing accounts without giving information (BUNQ BUSINESS)
Terrible service, would not recommend even my worse enemy to use this bank. Arrogant and not helpful at all, closing accounts without any explanation besides quoting codes from documents and not linking to them or wanting to talk any specifics makes the bank seems dodgy at all.
If you want to punish people by closing their accounts at least have the decency to explain why. They closed my account for a 'conflict of interests' - which is the most vague and non serious clause I have ever read.
If they or any of their 'clients' have a conflict with your business, they will close your account. How is this being flagged? Why do you not give a report?

Amazing and fast service with a app that lets me control every aspect of my money. When I had issues (my fault) the app allowed me to see and solve the issues, which was excellent so I could finish my payment in that shop.

These people keep increasing the fee of transaction subtly. When you question them, they say they provide "value." I don't think they are measuring their "value" correctly. I will change my bank at the first opportunity.
