I bought my ticket online and made a mispelling error on my middle name; I called the booking service 3 times (each call I had to wait about 30 mins). On the third attemp, they finally answered my call. The person who "helped me" was very rude! Every question I had, he answered with a "no", he wasn't even trying to help me- he just wanted to get rid of my call. After about 5 to 10 mins trying to get a word out of his mouth, he suggested cancelling the ticket just because of the mispelling error, whithout any refund; so in other words 700 dollars thrown into the garbage. I obviously declined his offer, and decided to call the aeroline (United) directly. They did help me and within 5 mins, my problem was solved! I just wish I had never paid for the "insurance option" that budget air offers. Avoid using this company!

0 out of 10. The worst experience I have ever had with customer service agents worldwide. I booked a flight from New York to Cairo at Turkish Airlines. A few days later I got an email from BudgetAir that the flight time has been changed and I will layover 8 hours instead of 1 hour that means I will arrive JFK at 5.50 pm. I couldn't accept that because I have another flight at 5.45pm from JFK to Vancouver. So I asked the customer service agent to change this flight for me or I will miss my next fligh. He said did you book the next flight with us, I said no! He said okay it's not our responsibility!!! I paid for the ticket that I choose not for the new one. Please give me any other option. Guess what, he gavegave another option which is I will arrive at 10 pm to JFK. I told him are you serious, this one even worse than the existing one. I will still miss my next fligh. He said then the exciting one is the best option for you!! Can you imagine that?? He just tries to convince me to miss my flight. I hang up the phone to talk to another customer service, but all of them in the same room and when I explained to him my situation he hangs up the phone immediately and that happened with 2 customer service.
Finally, I called Turkish Airlines and they helped me out.
I really don't recommend anyone to book anything through this website. Terrible and rude customer service.

Worse company ever ! Never book with them. I tried to book a flight on their website and they declined my cart so i figure that i would just use a another website since this one wasn’t accepting my card. And then they send me a confirmation email in my spams!!!! And Pass the paiement the day after? Bad luck that i never look in my spams and i saw it a couple weeks later, called them. And then they tell me that its my fault and im gonna loose my money and its not their problem and they can’t refund nothing and then just knock off the phone without saying anything.

DON'T USE THE WEBSITE!!! NO,NO, NO, NO/
First of all, If I have a choice I will give zero star. this is my first time to book a air-ticket via Budgetair, and last time.
1. The price of ticket are different with receipt and real charge. I called service center asked the reason explaining that due to Airline is not Canadian company, charged by Airline. excuses. OK. not a big deal pay $40 more.
2. couple days later, I have received rescheduled flights. they changed day time flight to night time flight, without any notice. AND I call back asked the reason, customer service saying that due to airline company changed the schedule.YES. ok , I have no choice, I accept it.
3. The rescheduled schedule have conflict itself. I have to transfer flight, but the first flight will arrive at 22:50, and the second one departure at 15:30 at same day same airport. The second flight departure even I get the airport yet. YES, same as usual, call back again, the service told me will receive new one within next 12 hours.
4. I called the airline I had booked, the airline saying only postpone one hour compare with original one. no idea why Budget Air why rescheduled like that.
5. Have not received any thing, within next 12 hours, OK, I called again Budget Air, customer service, and let told me will receive new one next 24 hours, s, I waited, but, NO anything angian in next 24 hours.
6. Called again Budget Air customer Service, Again!!! rep told me will have new one in next 24 hours. how many 24 hours.
hope this is last call, and get new updated one soon.
any one from Budget Air managers can explain what you guys did bad services.
CONCLUSION: do not use Budget Air to book anything.

I will never use this airline again!
I have had issues with this Airline since I booked my flight in November. They first of all "forgot" to send me my etickets and I phoned them in mid December enquiring about this. They laughed on the phone at me and asked why I hadn't realized this sooner, even though my flight isn't until May.
I then tried to change the spelling of my boyfriends name from Andreas to Andrea online and I kept receiving an error message. I was on hold to customer service Canada for over an hour to speak to an agent on this. Finally the most rude man named Abraham took my call and told me he wouldn't change the name, it wasn't their issue. I could change it 3-5 days before my flight, at the end of April, it will cost me a lot of money and he couldn't tell me how much. And then he hung up on me. I was left almost in tears at the end of the call and still I don't have my boyfriend's name changed on his ticket. I'm not sure what to do from here!

Don't use this company!!! They take no responsibility for mistakes on your ticket.
When going to BudgetAir's webpage it clearly states that handluggage is included on our flight, however, when going to the actual flightcompany's webpage, they have booked tickets for us which DOES NOT include hand luggage on the outbound flight, but only on the return. I've called BudgetAir and they claim that luggage does not have anything to do with them. However, we carefully checked that handluggage was included when we booked these tickets, and it is also stated as being included when we look at our bookings on BudgetAir's webpage. The company we are travelling with have different types of tickets and some does and some does not include hand luggage, so BudgetAir has booked the wrong ticket for us.
When I called BudgetAir costumerservice they completely disregarded any responsibility for buying a ticket for us without hand luggage, even though their website states that it is included in our tickets. In the end, they even hung up on me.
I'll never buy anything from BudgetAir again, and I advice everybody else also not to do this.

Terrible experience! AVOID!!!
Not unlike what others have complained about here, I purchased two tickets in Canadian dollars, received the PDF receipt indicating the charge Canadian dollars with USD in brackets, yet the charge was posted in US dollars so I was overcharged $40 because of currency conversion. Seems this is a pattern of behaviour with them, evidenced by other similar complaints.
Repeated calls and emails (all emails were unanswered) had me running in circles, but each person essentially told me "we're not to blame" and "we can't fix it". I repeatedly asked for the issue to be escalated and was refused. Some of the service reps insisted that it was either the airline or my credit card that decided the charge would be posted in USD. Ridiculous!
I have complained to my credit card company that the charge was fraudulent. Let's see if I get refunded the $40 after the investigation.

Bought my flight about 5 months ago, then it got canceled week before my flight to return home and I called them for 1h30min no answer. Sent 5 emails no reply and no refund.
Complete ignorance and got scammed! How can they fycking do it like this and nobody can shut them down!!?

Never ever deal with them!
They just don’t care about you. If you have any issue with them, your problem will not even be listened to properly. I lost money because of having booked tickets with them, as it turned out they didn’t process my booking properly, and now I have to buy new tickets with much higher price.

NEVER EVER USE BUDGET AIR
My return flight was cancelled by the airline and they asked me to contact Budget Air for my refund of two tickets. After my initial email, they asked for a document provided by the airline, which I sent over. Since then I have sent them numerous emails and they have failed to respond back. I will never use Budget Air ever again for anything.

So last August 2018 we decided to book our flight to Melbourne, Australia departing Feb. 4,2019. Due to a medical reason we were not able to travel, so on Feb.1st I called Budget Air to cancel our flight. The representative who answered my call said not a problem I’ll get that done for you ma’am, you’ll be getting an email within 24-48 hrs. Great!! So on Feb. 4th and I hadn’t heard from them so I decided to call and make sure our flight was canceled and sure enough she hadn’t cancelled our flight. So the representative said he’d go ahead and cancel it and again I’d get an email with 24-48 hrs. So I waited again another week and called back, and the representative that answered my call asked if I had sent in the medical note, so I responded not one person has asked to send in the medical note that I had already had before cancelling our flight. So I asked for the email to forward the medical note to them. This was sent in by email on February 12th at that time the representative said I’d have to wait 4-5 business day for an email from them. So today Feb. 21st I called back and today I was told I’d have to wait 10-12 business days before I’d hear from the airline. So here we sit out $2800 and no answers!!
I will never book another flight with Budget Air again and I hope a few read my review and do the same.

I was charged more than what was shown in the invoice. I called the customer care number, the person who attended the call was a bit rude. They explained to me that the additional amount was charged by the bank for converting from CAD to USD. The price was shown in CAD, but I was charged in USD. Their explanation is that the flight fare is directly charged by the carrier. In that case, budgetair should have listed the price in USD or have made it clear that the price will be charged by the carrier in USD (or whatever currency) as I proceed to pay in a font size that is readable. I am experiencing this for the first time. I have booked international flights using INR and CAD. Once the price is listed on the agency website, the agency receives the money in the currency in which it is listed and therefore the question of conversion rate does not arise. I would never recommend the website to anyone.

This has got to be the most terrible company I have ever worked with. I had to cancel my flight so I emailed them (as per their direction on their website) received an email back stating that if I reply to the email I would be confirming the cancellation and a refund would be processed.
The email was from a customer service agent named Alyssa. I replied to that email and two weeks passes and I did not hear anything nor was a refund processed. I wait on hold for 45 minutes and finally speak to someone who tells me that this is not the process and that I needed to call, and I asked why it has a booking cancellation form on their website and he kept repeating that in the fine print on page like 25 of the ticket it says that all cancellations must be phoned in.
So we process my cancellation and I ask to talk to a manager, he told me under no circumstances are they able to transfer any call to a manager, I kept asking to speak to one and he just hung up on me.
I received an email 5 days later stating that in 96 hours I would receive a follow up email about my refund. I received that 5 days later and it stated that in ten days from that email I would receive my refund. It is day 15 so I decide to call and follow up.
First agent I speak to after being on hold for 40 mins says not to worry because they never charged my card, I was shocked, I said of course you charged my card that was in January when I purchased the ticket, she kept insisting the card was never charged. I then asked her to pull up the last email that budgetair sent me which clearly breaks down how much my card was charged and how much my refund was. She then said it would be another 45 days for the refund, I again directed her to that same email that states in 10 days I would receive a refund. She then says okay well just wait another 2 days. I asked her how she could confirm this and she hung up on me.
I waited again for 45 mins, an agent answered took my booking number and hung up. I then waited again for an hour, connected with someone and they hung up on me as well once they got my booking number. I then waited on hold for another 55 minutes to talk to someone who told me that they were only issuing me a refund of $55 and the airline would be refunding me money for the ticket. I told her that no I had it all outlined on a refund statement from Budgetair the refund I was supposed to receive. She then told me I would be receiving the amount on the refund statement. But it could take 15 days. So at this point I have been told 10 days, 15 days, 12 days and 45 days to receive a refund. She then told me it had been processed already, and I asked her for a confirmation number and she told me she wasn't allowed to give that to me. She then asked for me to send my bank statement to an email address that has not responded to any of my email addresses. I then asked for the confirmation number again that they had refunded my money and she hung up on me.
I highly recommend that you DO NOT book with Budgetair.

is there anyone here can help us. we book a flight last sept 6 2018 going to london , uk for december trip for 4 person my wife and my 2 young cousins. i paid 4,959 canadian dollar. unfortunately i got denied on my visit visa application. so we decided to cancel it and it was sept 28 2018. we paid all necessary fees for the cancellation. 200cad per head so its 800cad for the whole cancelled booking. they send us an email that they cancelled it and wait for the refund. we try following up thru email and calls. still they say to wait 3 to 5 weeks. so its been five months already since this is the first time we booked in this company. we search the internet how to resolve this problem with them. dispute is the answer. but again the bank said and paypal by the way i used for my payment said that its already pass the time limit for the dispute. so theres nothing they can do about it. until now we are trying to call and folow it up and still the same answer they are giving us. can anyone help us?

Don’t use BudgetAir for your booking. I thought a lot before booking but then ignored all the negative reviews and thought of using it once but BudgetAir is a scammer. First of all they charged my credit card more than what they showed when I checked the price. I ignored it. But now the flight is cancelled and their phone and email is worst. I have been waiting for someone to answer my phone for 2 hours but nobody answers. Sent them 15 emails so far, no reply. PLEASE DO NOT USE BUDGETAIR. They are scamming people.

I am having terrible experience with Budget air Canada. My flights got cancelled and i have no response from them. NO REFUND EVEN. THESE GUYS ARE LOOTERS. Tried to call and email mutliple times. I am fed up and planning to got to media and court.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I tried to call and get a mix up wth a booking sorted out within 24 hours. Called the Canadian number and it said they were outside of customer hours so to call the emergency line. I called the emergency line (Incurring a LOT of expensive long distance fees) and got NO RESPONSE. 3 times. After being on the phone 10 minutes it said "no one is available, we'll call you back goodbye" and hung up. Then I emailed, and got no response by morning. I called in the morning, the first guy told me I was getting charged even though I was completely unable to get in touch with them for hours. He then hung up on me. I called back and the phone beeped and no one answered. I called again, and got a female, who was also terrible, said she would check my booking and the line went dead. And then FINALLY talked to a third representative after calling 3 more times, and I have no idea if its been sorted out or not. TERRIBLE.

They charged me twice - and no response from their customer service.
Their website malfunctioned the first time I tried to use it - "oops something went wrong, try reloading the page or start from the homepage". So I did.
Their website then completely reloaded and required me to start the transaction all over from the beginning - it did generate a booking number and payment success the second time I used It. I received an email from them - so success- right? But then I'd noticed it was the wrong booking number and charge. Couldn't contact them.
Then I got the dreaded second email - this time quoting my booking number & the correct costs - but now I have two e-tickets, and they've charged me twice.
I don't understand how I could possibly be penalized for their website malfunctioning and telling me that I need to start again - when in fact, I guess, it must've just assumed some steps and charged me again.
update: called again during their "office hours" about 10 times, I got "you have called outside of office hours" and their representative hung up on me twice.

Another 2 weeks go by and NO MONEY!
Even though 2 weeks ago they told me 24 hours and i would have money refunded.
after an email 2 days ago, they said someone would contact and insure money is refunded. called 3 times and no call back.
stay away unless you love being ignored and treated with the worst customer care in the world.
i keep telling them i will not go away until i get this back being they promised me this for 2 months!!!

BUDGET AIR for REFUND of $1782
FLIGHT TICKET NOT USED: Full Refund ($1782) request for Wrong flight ticket was issued by BUDGET AIR with two different airports in same city (LONDON) and on top of that we are experiencing very bad response from their customer service.
Ticket reference number – BCA1627022
I have book tickets for 3(Spouse and 2 kids) on 21st July, 2018, from Halifax, CANADA to Chennai, INDIA with transit in LONDON to fly on 8th August, 2018, paid amount $1782 using my credit card.
1) Ticket was issued with two different airports in LONDON. The ticket we got issued will fly us from Halifax, Canada to Gatwick Airport, London and our next connecting flight is from Heathrow Airport, London to Chennai, India.
2) No travel agent had/has issued tickets with 2 different airports in same city for transit.
3) The whole time we never used the ticket and BUDGET AIR kept saying that we have used one ticket and travelled to Gatwick which doesn’t make any sense as the ticket was booked for Mother and 2 children. They are just cooking their own story to not refund our amount $1782. As we still have proof that we have used ticket from other travel agent, which was also been emailed to BUDGET AIR Customer support.
4) Customer Service Floor Manager Mr. Kesav was never polite he used harsh words towards me and he told us not to call customer support.
CUSTOMER CARE ISSUES:
1) As we realised wrong ticket was issued, we called BUDGET AIR customer care on 21st July, 2018, and we ended up disappointing as their customer care is only operated 9am-6pm.
2) We finally ended up talking to one of the BUDGET AIR customer service representative on 23th July, 2018, requesting to cancel the ticket or change the ticket to fly from same transit destination. Customer service representative told us he will look in to issues and get back to us but no one called us back regarding the complaint we have raised.
3) From 23rd July to 2nd August I have spoke to several customer service representative regarding the issue and complaint we have raised but the representatives kept giving multiple reasons and never got back to us. So far the names of the customer service representatives we have spoke to are Mr. Sham, Mr. Alex, Mr. Joshep, Mr. Anthony, Miss. Maya, Miss. Mona(Monika) and Miss. Preethi
4) On 3rd August when we spoke to Miss. Preethi regarding the issue, she promised us saying she cannot change the ticket in that case she will organise for full refund of $1878 with is 4 – 5 weeks as she has discussed the issue with her manager.
5) On 20th August when I called customer support I was connected to Mr. Alex and he said that we have used on of the ticket which we never did and we have sent email to avijai.travix.com with attached proof of ticket that we bought through other travel agent so that they will proceed on our complaint raised for Full refund of amount $1782.
6) On 27th August I spoke with customer service representative Miss. Mona (Monica) as she told us the refund amount of $1500 has been approved by BUDGET AIR and they are still working to get full refund of amount $1782 as requested.
7) On 6th September I spoke with Customer service representative Miss. Maya as she advised us to give bank details to deposit full requested amount $1782 with in 10days. Even thou we have paid the amount from our credit card, BUDGET AIR cannot revert the amount to my credit card back. So BUDGET AIR will pay the entire amount of $1782 from their own account for the mistakes they have done as said my Miss. Maya. So I have emailed my bank details to cs.vayama.com
8) On 8th September I received email from info.budgetair.ca saying they cannot refund the total amount of $1782 instead they will give me $400 travel voucher.
9) On 12th September I called BUDGET AIR customer support to talk with one of the customer service representative that I have spoken before and none of them were interested to talk and finally one of the representatives got us connected with floor Manager Mr. Kesav. When Mr. Kesav spoke to me he started the conversation very rudely and he never knew the whole story of my Flight ticket and he just told he will give $500 cash refund and $100 Travel voucher with in 3days. As we fought for our $1782 to be refunded he finally told us we can post this issue on twitter, face book or in any other forum as they are not cared about us.

If we had 0 or half star I would have gone for it. BudgetAir is one of the worst if not the worst company out there. These guys hung up on me at least 4 times today and just trolled me all day long. They ask you to buy insurance and tell you well the insurance is with the airline not with them. They are unwilling to help you and will treat you so bad. Never were they able to answer my questions. Please stay away for your own sanity. THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.

They do not care about their customers and all they do is hide behind the airline policies. They even said they don't care if I write bad reviews about them and hung up on me!!!
I am having a nightmare because of Budgetair.
My initial bookings were rescheduled by airline. The schedule change was more than 5 hours (a 24 hours journey changed to 32 hours and 39 hours in & out) which was obviously not acceptable to me. I called them for either a flight change or a full refund and they very politely asked me to wait for few days and see if airlines make the changes again. I waited for a month, no changes. I on my own found a flight that could reduce my travel time to 30 hrs on inbound flight. They suggested I go ahead with the change atleast on this one flight and any changes in future wont be charged if there was a change in schedule required for the same trip. After waiting for 2 months I call them again and now they say that neither a schedule change nor a refund was possible because you already did a change once!!!
So now I'm screwed. I have to take the flights or bear the refund charges.
They would never call you back for any update even if they promise you so. One of the representatives even hung up on me!
NEVER EVER TRUST BUDGETAIR!
DON'T BOOK TICKETS ON BUDGETAIR!!!
