Busy doctors don’t need BetterDoctors. I hope they go bankrupt so that they go away. They are redundant to CAQH, which insurers already use. I can’t believe they have VC investors, what an uninspired company. Those investors are stupid too, should have done their homework on CAQH. No relative is a doctor who could have told any of them about that?

We've asked repeatedly to be removed from BetterDoctor fax and email lists, yet the barrage of review and overdue review requests continue. As we've told them via support at betterdoctor.com, we make necessary changes when and as they occur within our organization - there's simply no need or purpose for their quarterly reviews. Also, as stated by another reviewer here, no plan we've spoken with knows anything about this organization so it's wasted time and energy on our part.
We just want them to leave us alone and our requests only result in more useless explanations.

I have not received any request from any insurance asking me to provide my practice information to these people. It is not a reliable business. Not like CAQH, etc.

I get emails from "Melissa" at Better Doctor. I verify given a code. Next week I get a fax from better doctor. I get snail mails from Better Doctor
They are taking so much of my time and not making me a Better Doctor.
I have verified so many times. Who are they?
I mostly use CAQH to verify as most insurance companies use CAQH.
I now put anything from Better Doctor into the Spam folder.

Unsolicited emails on and on and on. No mention as to which insurance companies they are providing information to. Called them and they were clueless about their relationship with any insurance companies that we are on plans for (Humana, united, Aetna, CIGNA, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc.). They just said they have to obtain all kinds of information for many different insurance companies. I run a group with 140 licensed clinicians including psychologist, psychiatrist, counselors, and social workers. I deal directly with insurance companies and provide rosters directly to these insurance companies on a regular basis. I deal with the state, regional, national provider directors for each of these companies. Never once has anyone mentioned that they are affiliated with this company and that I needed to respond to their request. They always ask directly for my rosters which are sent to them directly. At this point, I am just relegated to keep on deleting deleting and deleting. Don’t know how to make them go away. If they have any validity in credibility, they need to have a better communication system and have more information provide verification of exactly who they are and provide information about any Insurance company they are soliciting information for and why that would be and how to verify this directly with a direct liaison at the insurance company.
They should stop apologizing and actually read the reviews below and actually make changes in how they do business. Until such time,… delete ... delete ... delete ... delete.

How do I get Better Doctor to stop sending me faxes. We are not in network with any of your 'affiliated' companies. Stop the insanity.

Data mining scam......and a poor one at that.
It makes zero sense to even claim they are working on behalf of Optima as Optima (and every other insurer on the planet) already has a provider directory on their website. Not many more professions on this planet as pathetic as a data miner and I'm including telemarketers in that statement. Whoever is claiming this site and responding to these complaints needs a role model in life.

We keep receiving solicitations from them - email and snail mail but when we call the provider relations people at the payers (2 now) they have no knowledge of Better Doctor and they have told us that all provider directory updates are done using information we enter on CAQH and the plan's update too My guess is they are trying to build an accurate database of information to sell back to insurance companies. i don't know what their goal is but is sounds pretty scammy.

I am also having a difficult time verifying with Humana. Betterdoctor says - "Here is the number to Humana" and gives me the number to provider relations who has no idea who Betterdoctor is!!! Then I am supposed to enter the same information for provider directory updates into the Betterdoctor website that I already verify and diligently update every 120 days on CAQH for Humana and every other carrier - duplicating my workload! In addition they are changing the information from accepting new patient to not accepting new patients and causing breaks in our participation!!! Nightmare intrusive company!!!!!

I've been receiving unsolicited data requests from betterdoctor.com
(BETTERDOCTOR, INC.) saying that Washington Healthplanfinder is
needing my practice info for recredentialing.
When I called WA Healthplanfinder they told me they know nothing
about BETTERDOCTOR and have no affiliation with them.
This is official looking and misleading advertising from a company pretending to be something it's not in order to get physicians to sign up with their advertising directory.
You can see BETTERDOCTOR'S complaints on the BBB site.
