This collection of criminals, crooks and liars known as Bell Insurance or Admiral Insurance must win the prize for outright lies and slapping customers in the face... At every single renewal they will MORE THAN DOUBLE your premium despite no claims and many years of NO CLAIMS BONUS, and you have to spend hours on the phone escalating the call at each juncture to get the price down.. They also choose arbitrarily what insurance group you vehicle belongs to against the trend of the rest of the industry. So you may have bought your new car because it's a low insurance group, but Bell/Admiral will tell you its a very high insurance group. Found quotes for literally a third of the price elsewhere. Bell will even lie about other companies' prices on your insurance search criteria. Despicable customer service too, they speak over you and are disrespectful. The only exception to this rule is if you are lucky enough to end up speaking to the Welsh call centre, they treat you like a human being, but that is the exception and not the rule. Choose this company AT YOUR PERIL!

This is the worst insurance company in the whole world. Don't even think about buying any policy with these guys.
They always go for 50/50 settlement no matter what happened because they want to save money as going to court will cost them lot of money. Guess I was told so over the phone.
I was wrongfully hit last year and they even didn't bother to look at the diagrams provided by both parties. The other provided a wrong diagram and they even didn't care. When trying to point that out to them, they try to defend the other. I honestly still feel like it is the other driver who is paying them to defend them. I have been wronged and because there is no witnesses then automatically go for 50/50 settlement. This is just to make your premium fee increase so that they can get more money from you.
Before even the liability is established, they have cancelled 3 years of no claim and increase my fee.
Communication has been absolutely poor. They rarely contact you. You have keep chasing them up for them to give you any information.
They even do not deserve the 1 star that I am giving. I wish there an option to give -100 stars.

If its within my capacity i would take that one star off as well, I had insurance policy with bell for over a year on renewal they come up with higher quote. After comparing on GoCompare and confused.com got the cheaper quotes from other provided and so decided to leave bell. After cancellation of the policy they turn back after 2 months and tell me to return a plug in device and threatening to charge if i don't do it.
This is the least you want from someone you have had for 1 year, anyways called customer service and asked them to provide me with pre-paid envelops so i can return your device. They turn back to me and say that it was provided it to you when you had the device a year ago?
(What age are we living in, even after saying that i don't have bag on me could you please send the other. Then customer service person increase the price for fine to £100. I was so annoyed off that i just didnt bother cut the phone down and deal with them later.
In nut shell not a friendly company to go with.

I feel I have been presented with a pricing scam! I got a quote for £630 or so for annual car insurance. I didn’t buy any add ons and was referred to a call centre. After waiting 6 minutes on a call it transpired that however I had filled in the policy quotation questions, the quotation had interpreted that I had only just become a uk citizen while I had been one for life. And that I had bought the car more recently than I had (despite the car records being available online). It was presented that both these facts (which should bring the premium down) pushed it up from £630 to £720! That’s nothing short of a scam from my point of view. A complete waste of time!

Unacceptable customer service and companies policy , I have paid extra money for the extra miles I will be driving but they still keep sending them letters that if I won't pay they will cancel my policy.
