No been to a beefeater before so thought we would try the one at Peterborough .
From the walk though the door a great welcome from the guy on the front of house to the great friendly waitress. Food was hot lovely and well presented. Would recommend 10/10 thank you .....

We are regular visitors to your restaurant in Peak Lane Fareham, and last week we booked a table to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The waitress was very attentive, and friendly, and the food was superb. I had a sirloin steak with stroganoff sauce. It was delicious!! Thank you again for a most enjoyable evening, highlighted by the friendliness of the staff and the superbly cooked food.

Food was excellent but the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing at Bagshot Surrey they were mucking about a waiter kept going up and tickling a waitress we waited half an hour for our starter and another hour for our main we decided not to bother with anything else as when we booked online it said we could only have the table for one hour and forty five minutes. The restaurant wasn't that busy but when we asked the waitress why it took so long she said we only have three chefs and one of them is dealing with starters I would have thought that was plenty. Also the restaurant area was dirty mucky carpets and dusty shelves with bottle tops etc strewn over it hope the food prep areas were cleaner. The three stars are for the food the rest is no stars

Avoid Blackpool Red Lion. Total dive and the staff tried ripping me off saying the food i had paid for was on the same plate as my main. It was funny as 10 mins later the other dish appeared. Took months to get a reply from customer service. i will never eat at this chain ever again.

Terrible staff at beefeater Exeter. Twice now I’ve been told I’m too late for breakfast once at 10.30 they said they have just shut then yesterday I walked in with my new baby starving at 10.05am I stood and the desk waiting to be seated for 10 minutes after being seen by 3 different staff members but not even acknowledged. Finally a youngish blonde girl came over and said very rudely ‘have you booked’ I said no (bearing in mind the restaurant had around 5 tables in) I’m just here for breakfast please. She then said ‘well if you haven’t booked then we shut at 10.15. I looked at my phone and it’s was bang on 10.15.. I then said oh that’s funny when I came in last time at 10.30 I was told you shut at 10.30 she then stuttered and quickly said well last orders are at 10-15 and we shut at 10.30. I was with 2 friends and there were 4 men behind us who all wanted all you can eat breakfast priced at £10 each you lost out on at least £70 because your staff were too lazy to cook up a couple more meals. Disgusting customer service. I will not be back again. Address is countess wear beefeater Exeter. AVOID people there just full of rude staff and disappointment.

Went to Dundee with friends overnight in Dundee west.there was 3 adults.there was only 2 cups,2 glasses only 4 pillows for 3 people oh and only enough tea sugar and coffee for 1??
The food was child portion size,wrong order given,half of what couldn’t be eaten.when we asked why the portions were skimpy we were told that’s what they are?it cost £47 for 3 and that was I starter and 3 mains never again

We waited 20 mins to be seated after 4 members of staff said someone else will seat us , the restaurant was only half full yet the staff obviously couldn’t cope , after finally being seated the waitress didn’t seem to care when I complained offering no apologies . She then rushed us for a drinks order like we was an inconvenience. We then waited 15 mins no service no drinks nothing which was a pain seeing the girl rushed us for our drinks order .The people on the table opposite sent there food back telling us the terrible service they were having so we decided to leave . For the prices there I expect a service . We complained to the girl at the bar as we left who honestly didn’t seem to care .
We went elsewhere in the end .
The staff here were unapologetic, and had zero customer service.

Got seated straight away with drinks. Ordered food was far from busy waited almost an hour for food. Came as soon as complaining others been served had only been on premises 15 mins. Food cold. Always apologies had something else to do. Would hate to be there if busy

I have used the Newton Abbot Beefeater for several years. Although the food quality is adequate, customer servicer is surly and unhelpful. The only time it changes is when the company offers a"vote for your best waiter" scheme and their attitude changes. Most of the staff require urgent training in 'meet and greet', general customer service and basic good manners.

Beafeater Great Yarmouth
Waited over 30 minutes to get served, food came over cold, sent back and it returned with hot chips and cold steak, could not find anyone to complain too, when we eventually spoke to manage, he was not interested came over as very lethargic, so we paid and left, would never go back there.

Beefeater Spruce Goose Basingstoke - Sunday Breakfast
On Sunday the 04.08.19 me and my partner came for sunday breakfast, we have recently move to the area and were looking fr a good breakfast place to go and we though we would try the Beefeater Spruce Goose in basingstoke,and we were not impressed, there were no clean plates we had to ask for some both at the hot buffet and the continental buffet. The Hot food buffet was okay not amazing, the beans had been under the heat lamp for too long and had dried out, the sausages where burnt so much the knife would not cut them, the bacon was over cooked and chewy - to tough to swallow, The only good thing was the mushrooms where great. On the continental breakfast the croissants where stale and the pancakes looked like they had mold on them (there where blue fussy spots on them). The orange juice and Apple juice were very nice but we will not come back for breakfast again.

Very rude member of staff ( frontman ) at The Foxburrow In Lowestoft and that’s before we sat down ! After complaints on twitter there was too much talk and not enough action, I never had the phone call that was promised from the manager via the complaints team and still waiting after 10 days .... appalling! If my advise is any good to you don’t go there !

We have just eaten at the Beefeater in Preston Lancs, just off the M6. I am so impressed. I'm the most difficult food critic to please, but I can say this. I have eaten all over the northwest, I like steak but most resteraunts find it difficult to cook a medium rare fillet, it either comes dry or swimming in blood. Tonight my family had all kinds if meat from the Beefeater in preston including fillet and it was spot on! Out of 3 meals with 2 courses I literally had no complaints. I was so impressed I approached the manager and gave her £5 to give the chef for a pint when he is finished. I believe the chefs name is Pinto. Well pinto it's clear you run a tight ship, fair play. We will be back soon.

Beefeater Queensmead Farnborough.
Fantastic front house service. Above and beyond call of duty. Attentively catering to the elders of our group; making small knickerbockerglorys so none got wasted! Brill. Breakfast and evening meal service was excellent. Good value good. 👍👍👍.

Long waiting times for drinks to be served and even longer for food to arrive.
When food arrived the chips were hot but the main was mildly warm. Only good thing was the portion size.
Taste - difficult to comment when the main wasn’t hot. Was ok but not for the price.
Price very expensive, we would not have went without the 40% off.
Service slow and behind the bar looked stressed and miserable. Serving staff seemed relaxed and pleasant. chefs looked stressed and can see why as their production line just doesn’t work.
They are really trying to be something they will never be. Your a chain pub/restaurant. Try a different approach like Wetherspoons. They are half the price after the 40% discount and still taste better. Sorry but it’s a terrible disappointment from me.

Absolutely appalling we went for a birthday meal the balloons where not on table had to ask again even though there was a reservation two days prior. Half off the food was cold while other half was Burned. An hour wait for food after ordering. They didn't give us the free birthday meal either shocking service only decent thing was our friendly waitress

Bracknell Beefeater quick lunch with colleague - service unbelievably slow considering that only a few people in the restaurant. As we found out probably many reasons why very quiet. 20 minutes to get the drinks served, 2 glasses of wine, but quality was very poor. Food the same, 30 minutes for a salad + a steak kebab. Steak ????? hard overcooked meat inedible, had to go back. No apologies, just well that is how it is comes was what we got. We will not be returning.

Coach & Horses ,Newport Road, Castleton, Gwent, Gwent CF3 2UQ. The quality has dropped to well below human consumption. This place serves out of date foods and over cooked, as they do not realise what food is about they serve when it comes to foods. I bet their kitchens are filthy also from how the plates arrived with dirty finger prints around the edge of the plates. The management are turning a blind eye to their poor standards when they deal with foods, also they need to clean the toilets are they are filthy and dirty. Cheap budget restaurant if one will call it that.

I Would give this place a 0star! Service was terrible slow to take orders waited over 2 hours for our meal! When it came out it was a resemblance of left over food from someone else’s dinner. Dry, limp and burnt no colour or flavour. Had two bites and it tasted like vomit.
The waitress never came to ask if everything was okay with the food?!
Eventually got to speak to the manager who I fed back too about the poor quality food and service is below average. Even after making a complaint the manager ‘fluffed’ it up to excuse the quality we had received.
Eventually he gave us a good discount off for the disappointment, but I will not be going back again.
Very sad that the evening which was meant to be a lovely top meal out ended up being awful!

Beefeater at Premier Inn Southend Airport.
Not good experience here in restaurant. Had to send my fish and chips back because the mushy peas were cold but the rest of it was lovely and hot. Dinner was brought back a few minutes later... mushy peas still cold...!!! Called for the manager who eventually came out and her first words were, "Can we get you anything else..???" Not... "let me find out why we're serving you cold food...twice!" I think we should check with the chef as to why this is..." Surly and not happy to have to bring my dinner a third time and forgot the tartar sauce this time. Oh heavens aboveI do wonder why the manager doesn't seem to care about the food and quality of service. Not a people person. She had a great opportunity to try to rectify the situation and an apology wouldn't have gone amiss. Guess everything was my fault. Maybe like me she is dealing with other stresses in life.... Always loved Beefeaters. Not this one. Suspect retraining is required. Poor. Very poor. Hope they can learn something from this.
