Barclays have ruined my life for 4 years accusing me of owing money on Barclaycards I do not have and have not had. One card after the other. They have confused me with someone else and ruined my credit report and reputation and that of my family.

I have not had a problem with Barclaycard the app works well and customer service seems to be okay. I moved to another credit card company which turned out to be a nightmare and transferred back to Barclaycard which gave me a 0% transfer for nearly 2 years which is amazing. I also have a much higher credit limit with barclaycard which helps. If in the future I have a problem I will review but so far so good

Barclaycard disputes line. Had to wait ver 40 min to get through. Then got cut off terrible customer service. They used to be very good. Prob due to Thomas Cook going broke ? ?

I’ve had a Barclaycard for many years now and never had an issue.
Recently due to a mental illness issue I’ve had to take time out of work and subsequently had significant money issues.
I cannot express enough of how brilliant barclaycard have been with me and how much help they have given me.
I would definitely recommend.

THEY have asked ME to contact them due to suspected cloning
First attempt 36 mins then gave up
Second attempt 45 mins then gave up
As I type this third attempt is 30+ mins and still no answer

I had never dealt with them before, ever. I moved to a new property, and within 6 months I receive unsolicited mail with advertisement and offers to join them. This is unacceptable and a direct breach of Data protection policies.
In order to launch a complaint, I must register with them. What BS is this????

Called up to put a stop to this, will take up to 8 weeks apparently to stop all letters as "some are prepared in advance"
My details were found on Experian open database apparently, I never made contact with Barclaycard before this call in my life

Terrible customer service. I have been trying to get through to the Disputes Resolution on 0800 161 5391. I waited to speak to someone on this line for 33 minutes on 27/08/19 again this morning for 30 mins on 28/09/19. I am currently trying to get through and now At 58 minutes . Time is 18.20. What company would have these wait times????? Appalling.

Worst customer service ever, they have 2 teams one in Asia and another one in the UK. Both are useless, rude, and unprofessional.
Had issue with a transaction, after resolving the issue I decided to close my account as the service was awful. After 2 months out of nowhere I received an email asking me to pay the balance again, of course this time + interest.
Worst company ever, definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Simply the most incompetent company I've ever dealt with. Not a single process they have has worked the way they claim it does. They glued my pin number down with glue so had no way to reveal it, phoned them and they couldn't help, that's only after the computer has misheard everything you've said. The mobile app is only mobile if you're carrying their card reader. Needless to say after 3 weeks of dealing with them I've cancelled my card and moved to another provider. Avoid at all cost

Applied for an interest free period credit card online and was accepted.
When the credit card arrived my spending limit was £200. How ridiculous. I have a good credit rating. Barclaycard wanted me to submit bank statements showing my income and expenditure to up my limit. I do not mind them knowing my income but I am certainly not giving them evidence of how I choose to spend my money. I cancelled the card the same day. All in all a waste of my time and Barclaycards time.

Had difficulties over app in paying balance after a call they apoligise credited me gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience.. I cant complain really but I am p**sed off at the very low cash back on purchases not worth the spend to be really honest such a measly amount. Interest is low on the card but to be very picky I just don't like the card design just looks boring and is the very last card in my wallet for choice please update your design looks archaic. Helpful and customer focused. They do try hard to put right if they get it wrong. But it is a credit card it's about money for them just not any fir me cash back amounts are not worth it.

I've had really good customer service throughout my journey with Barclaycard but today I've had an especially wonderful experience. I called them with a problem and the agent I dealt with, Raveena, has been more than great. She went above and beyond to advise me and to sort out my problem. As I was a bit down, she made sure to bring my mood up and to motivate me to have hope in the future and she gave me all the support I needed. Hands on heart, she is a superstar and best customer service I have ever received.

RUBBISH COMPANY TO DEAL WITH IF YOUR A BUSINESS THEY GIVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ON THE PHONE FOR NEARLY AN HOUR HAD TO SPEAK TO 5 PEOPLE TO GET SOMEWHERE AND EVERYTIME AHD TO EXPLAIN MYSELF AGAIN AND AGAIN AND THE SITUATION THAT THEY HAD PUT ME IN. Unbelievably rude. I was with Barclaycard for seven years, paying more than my minimum payment every month and then paid off my entire balance a few years ago. At that time, I was given a credit limit of £15,000. I decreased this to £1000 after paying off my card, believing this would increase my credit score. Sadly, the opposite happened.
This month, I tried to increase it up to just £2000 and it was rejected. So they trust me with £15,000 but not £2,000..? I applied for a credit card with a higher limit (and no interest for 15 months) at another bank and was approved. So I called Barclaycard to say I'd move my business to another bank unless they could increase my credit limit. They just closed my account and were absolutely fine about a customer of seven years with a great financial history moving to a rival bank... The overseas call centre were so rude and patronising that the guy who closed my account was literally goading me like he thought I was bluffing. I mentioned the possibility of cancelling my account and within under 3 minutes he'd closed it, without even trying to retain my business. I then got a follow up call from their escalation team who said they hope I consider Barclaycard in the future.. Are you joking?
Their approach seems to be to incentivise their existing customers to move to competitor banks, which is just bizarre. So if you ever struggle to increase your limit with Barclaycard, I'd recommend moving somewhere else because the chances are it's the Barclaycard system that's the problem, not your credit score.

I signed up for the Jetblue card while on a Jetblue flight. The flight attendant that was pitching the card to the passengers offered 50,000 bonus miles to everyone who signed up that day. I did so, but when the time came for the points to be added to my Jetblue account I received only 20,000. Less than 1/2 of the original offer. I contacted Barclays via their mail center on the account page and their response was that they were unable to confirm the 50k offer and I would be receiving the current offer which was 20k miles. I will be canceling this card.

My barclaycard was used by an hotel in Mallorca without my permission. I opened a dispute regarding this and Barclaycard have found in favour of the hotel even though I did not make the booking or give permission for my credit card details to be passed to the hotel. My details were given to the hotel by booking.com who obtained then from lastminute.com. I was trying to book a package deal which lastminute.com cancelled as the flights were not available. Unbelievable!

I have recently done a 0% card balance transfer through Barclaycard and to date have found the online and app experience very disappointing. It seems like the way to log into the online portal changes every few weeks which make it un-intuitive or it jsut won't let you log in at all, I dont have a barclaycard as I dont intend to use it so when I phoned to ask for a replacement card so I can access my account I was passed to three different advisors in india to try and help me login when I knew the details were correct it just seemed like the system wasnt working. The app makes demands which are un-reasonable such as entering a 6 digit pin it deems suitable which ends up being a number you have no chance of remembering. Compared to my banking experiences with Virgin and Nationwide the Barclays experience is very poor and I would not use banking or card services with them again.
