I remodeled my kitchen, four years ago, purchased all new kitchen appliances, fridge, double oven, cook top, dishwasher, microwave. The Whirlpool double oven was replaced, within the first year. It took Home Depot months to replace it, even though I bought extended warranty,. I went 6 months without ovens. The Samsung dishwasher is the worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned. It’s been repaired, twice. The Samsung refrigerator has had two broken plastic parts, inside the fridge, the ice maker is broken, the fridge is making a different noise, mold is growing in between the plastics the drawer is made of, (there is no way to take the drawer apart). The LG stove top works well, but the knobs have broken and melted. I spent thousands of dollars for crap appliances. I would gladly take back my 20 year old appliances. I’m a 64 year old woman, it’s just my husband and myself, living here, so my appliances don’t get rough use or overuse. I will be buying new again, within the next year. I will NEVER buy anything from Home Depot, and will not purchase any of these brands again, except Whirlpool.

Whirlpool is noting more than ...a waste of your money. Both a new refrigerator a Top of the line "Whirlpool" just 3 years ago. We paid over $1500 believing "whirlpool" was one of the best choices....WRONG !
If you want to just throw your money away foolishly than yes buy Whirlpool.
One year after the warranty and it is now "NOT" keeping the upper section at the required 40 degree temperature. Contacted Whirlpool and it turns out it sucks to be me. Will never buy any Whirlpool product again !

I ordered a replacement oven from this company on 12/11/15. Late December, I called and spoke to Billy Jackson. He told me that the shipment from the west coast was coming to there location, on the east coast, at the end of January. If you read other reviews, this seems to be a common lie from the company to explain the delays. Billy told me that after receiving the shipment I should receive my oven early February. It is now March, and going on 3 months since I placed my initial order, and I still have not received my oven. This company is terrible! You will never be given any information/updates from them. You will have to endlessly call and email for any updates on where and when your order will be fulfilled. The sad reality is that this information is most likely all lies themselves because the dates Billy gave me didn't happen anyways. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. They should not be in business. I personally think that the people who operate this company should be incarcerated for fraud. I'm sharing my experiences dealing with them in hope that no other person is ever placed in this same trap. Appliances of America is a sham and you should avoid them at all costs. There are way to many other companies to buy from to not take the word of the growing negative reviews of this company. I only wish I would have read more of them myself. You have been warned. Stay away from this disgraceful company. They should be forced to to remove "America" from their company's name because they are the furthest thing from truly being anything American. I expect better and so should everyone else.

Ordered a electric range oven from this place at 12/2015, The website shows the item is available all the time, Delivery time is suggested for 15 to 20 days, My delivery has been delayed few times, finally the delivery date is confirmed two months later but, broke promise again. I don't trust this company any more and cancelled my order. You can open a account at this web but, you can not log in your own account, the only way is phone call, You make a call to sales or to service you will talk to the same person the only one person and 30% chance you get a recorded message. This must be a one person operated business. Many other review from different site say to this place use one word: Fake !

This is not a real company! It is fake! The phone has been disconnected, and the address is not real. They take you Credit Card and charge it to a paypal account. Billy tried to get me to fill out a survey the day I bought the items. I told him I would fill it out once I get the items. Well that was over 2 months ago, and now I am stuck with over a $3600 dollar bill. I have left several emails and tried to call. I have filled out a complaint to the FTC and would suggest anybody else who got scammed by this company. Trust me this company is fake, fake, fake!!

The New Jersey Better Business Bureau have an alert on this company and an F rating for good reason. Until recently their company address was a tiny used appliance store. When that game was up they now have an address which appears to be a medical complex. In short, I wish I had researched this company properly before handing over $2059 that I only got back several months later after registering a dispute with my credit card company. Appliances Of America never sent me the item I ordered and never gave me the refund they had promised. There are things I would like to say here that I dare not for fear of having this review deleted just like all the other negative ones this 'company' receives. In short, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I placed an order for new appliances on 12-7-15. After a week, there was no update as to any shipment or shipping date. I tried calling (left messages), emailed and was getting worried about my deadline for the project I ordered these appliances for. Before buying from this company, I looked online and found amazing reviews for them. I guess I should have dug a little deeper....or it should have sent a red flag that almost ALL reviews are 5 star. Who has 99% of reviews 5 star? Digging deeper....I found the 1 star reviews and BBB complaints.
Well, I finally got a hold of their sales dept on 12-17-15. I asked about my order and was told that it would be shipping soon from the West Coast to them, then BACK to me on the West Coast. ???? That wasn't acceptable, and the timeframe given was beyond vague (a common complaint I found). I asked for my order to be cancelled and my whole charge refunded to my credit card. The sales rep agreed and let me know it would take 15 days to process. I wasn't happy, but agreed to the 15 days. (quite a few complaints about 15 days stretching to 30, to, 45, to 90, to never!)
At the 13 day mark I received an email advising me that the refund was going to take an additional week past the 15 days. No, not going to go down that path. It doesn't take that much time to refund a credit card. I gave them until 1-4-16 to refund me (I was being nice because of New Years short work week). Well, 1-4 came and went without any contact or refund. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and will hopefully see my $1700 back in my account.
Still haven't heard from Appliances of America, and won't be one of their "5 star customers" that ALL seem to tell a story the complete opposite of the experience I had with this company.
Their website is great, prices are amazing, free shipping, no sales tax....almost too good to be true. Again, should have remembered my grandfather telling me that when I was younger.

I had a hard time finding the appliance that I was looking for so when I did find it I looked for the best store to purchase it from and that was Appliances of America. They had the lowest price with the best delivery option. There customer support is superior in the appliance world and there representative, xxxxx xxx xxx, is helpful and friendly and goes above and beyond the being gracious. I look forward to shopping at Appliances of America again (my brother wants to order another appliance for my mother and he looks forward to dealing with AoA).
Thank you xxxxx!

I had read the reviews before my purchase and felt pretty good, but after I made my purchase I got a call from Billy Jack confirming my order information. He answered my questions & explained the rest of the process up to delivery - I feel like I know someone with the company now - it's not just a website.

I'd been searching for a few weeks for the fridge my mom really wanted. She's had a rough few years and this is the kind of thing that would make her happy- not in that big, existential way...but in those small moments throughout the day. You know, each time she has to restock the fridge after a long day. Each time she wants a glass of juice. Each time she eats veggies to try to eat healthier (even though she'd rather have cake). She'll feel that gentle pat on the back from Happiness because her new fridge will have a nice compartment for every category of grocery. It will ensure that her glass of juice is at a refreshiingly cool temperature. And a new fridge will keep her veggies fresh and crisp. Anyway, my mom really wants a fridge. Plus, it's her birthday, so I was going to make a large, large appliance purchase for the first time and spend way too much money for it!
So, anyway, after weeks of checking the ever changing online prices for fridges, the prices offered by Appliances for America were significantly lower than most established places. No tax, free shipping... Seemed too good to be true-which made me apprehensive-still does. All these potential scenarios ran through my head: 'Who buys a major appliance from an online company in another state?' 'Wouldn't I feel more comfortable going to a large and cozy big box store, the one less than a mile from home?' 'What if there's a problem with delivery-wouldn't it be easier to deal with said established big box store?' 'Isn't it oddly comforting to buy a fridge from someone wearing a recognizable and familiar uniform, with the recognizable and familiar logos?' 'If something goes awry, don't I want to be able to go down to the store and ask to speak to the manager?' This is where Billy comes in to tell you: 'Don't worry.'
Going in, I was very nervous about the potential for disaster, about the potential for some kind of online scam. How could the prices be this much lower? I'll be honest, I'm still a little nervous and will be until that fridge is securely in my mom's kitchen and the ice comes out of it without stalling. This is a big birthday for her and a big purchase for me. I don't want there to be any disappointments just because I wanted to save a few (hundred) bucks. I don't want to potentially have all these hidden and ancillary costs come up that, ultimately, would have ended up costing me just as much, if not more than having gone with the big box. But, this is where Billy comes to the rescue. Billy says everything will be fine. He's not worried... He says it with so much confidence and assurance, I want to believe him. He may not be able to control everything, but I believe he will make it right. He hasn't let me down so far...! Did I mention, he actually returns your calls?!
To be clear, this review is not about the fridge itself-which my mom hasn't received yet. Nor is it about the expediency or quality of the delivery and installation-which haven't occurred yet. It's not about how I wish the Appliances of America website had more info that didn't necesitate phone calls to Billy/Customer Service-because the site lacks some critical info (e.g., there's no button to click asking if I needed installation services for the fridge! It also kept spitting back an error message when I tried to complete a purchase!) it's not about the sometimes long wait time or the fact that you might need to leave a message. This review is not about these things. It's about what happens when you actually reach someone to help. This is about what happens when you actually talk to Billy-THE customer service guy.
Billy calls you back. Billy wants you to have a pleasant customer service experience. That is really important to him. You get the sense that customer service is an artform to Billy. He does a nice job of breaking down that scary, mysterious online wall. He's friendly and personable. He seems to be the only guy at this place, which can be scary. But, it kinda feels like you're shopping at a mom and pop place-which can be a nice alternative to the aforementioned big box experience. I needed to call him several times because the website inadequately provided information, and he called back each time and would assure me that everything will be fine. When the website would not let the promo code apply, I didn't have to send him a screen shot of the promo code with the date and time that I saw it for them to honor it. He just said, 'OK, done.' This is Customer Service 101. Billy should teach this course. Did I mention, he returns calls! He actually returns calls. This makes all the difference...

Today I called the 1800 number for appliances of america and what a pleasant surprise I got to talk to a very different kind of customer representative . Some one that actually took the time to answer my concerns with sincere honesty. It was a 180 degree difference from the treatment I had gotten from other stores .I can tell that is the kind of person that gives !00% all the time at what he does.He certainly will be going far at this company. Keep up the good work .And may God bless . And then the prices at this site are better than the sales on the mortar and brick stores I was used too buying from . I recommend it 100% .
for price and customer service

First things first: I can confirm that all the following information is 100% true and can also give evidence of this.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) have an alert on Appliances Of America and have scored it F (the worst score possible). It's not hard to imagine why.
I would suggest reading the reviews on their website before you interact with this company. From day one my experience has been nothing short of appalling.
After waiting and waiting for my $1500 fridge to arrive after it's scheduled date I decided to contact the company. It's near impossible to reach anyone - I was unsuccessful in getting any response after left messages and emails. I read a little more about them online and discovered other customers were experiencing similar problems. I contacted my bank and put the payment into dispute. I rang Appliances of America one last time and left a message informing them of what I'd done and that I no longer required their services.
Within 5 minutes I received a call back from a representative who was extremely combative, aggressive and sarcastic from the outset and for the whole lengthy conversation. During the calI tried to have them confirm that my order was cancelled and I wanted a refund. Amongst other things, the representative sarcastically stated that as I live in Vegas it would be a "roll of the dice" whether I got a full refund. I have this conversation recorded should the company refute this.
After various communications over the next couple of days I finally got a verbal confirmation that they would refund in two weeks.
It's now over 6 weeks later and this is still ongoing. I've had a couple of interactions with the same representative again in which they offered more excuses as to why I haven't received a refund. The latest one was that they are waiting for a "transaction ID" from the accounts department. When I stated over the phone that I hoped this would be a short wait he replied "We can hope...".
In essence, I would simply advise anyone who asks, not deal with this company in any capacity. Do not order from them. The catalogue of excuses I was given as to why they couldn't a) deliver on time and then b) refund MY money was breathtaking. In my opinion, this 'operation' is dishonest and unprofessional, and undoubtedly the worst company I have ever dealt with.
UPDATE: I never received that refund from Appliances of America. My bank credited my account and agreed with me that this company acted fraudulently. Once again, do not deal with this company.

Appliances of America was significantly less than all other websites I visited. With no tax and free shipping, I was very happy when I made my purchase. However, the timing didn't go as planned. I thought I would be getting my appliances in 3-4 weeks, but it turned out being 10 weeks due to high demand during the Labor Day sales. We didn't need the appliances right away, but I actually had to call to figure out when they were supposed to come. When I had a hard time reaching someone I started getting concerned, but when I finally got through to Billy he offered to extend my warranty by a year to make up for the miscommunication. If I had to do it all again, I would definitely purchase from Appliances of America.

I rarely write reviews. Hopefully this review will save people some headache. Appliances of America never shipped my product (refrigerator). They made excuse after excuse. The primary salesperson is very smooth and gave me new delivery date, after new delivery date and even offered a free "White Glove Service". The "White Glove Service" offer pacified me for another week or so. It sounded great! Trying to get a live person on the phone was virtually impossible. The website looks great, but there is nobody home to back it up. My credit card company is currently trying to collect the funds from Appliances of America. I had to jump through several hoops to get this review published on this website. Had to provide proof of purchase, edit comments etc.. I think the dealer might be trying to get negative reviews thrown out by stating that "the review is not from a customer" or for compliance reasons. Appliances of America has even tried to call me several times since the original review was sent over to this website. I am not taking their calls and number has been blocked. Buyer beware!
FYI, I am indeed a customer with a valid invoice from Appliances of America. The dealer is trying to deflate my review by claiming this statement.
"Appliances of America reported this review Thursday, December 3, 2015 for the following reason(s):
The company has no record of this reviewer"
Please look at all reviews and you will see similar stories.
Update: review was kicked back again. Apparently using the first letter of the salespersons first name was too descriptive. I now have to refer to him as "primary salesperson". Dealer is likely blocking review from being published.

My online search for a 24" Gas Wall Oven Unit was an experience. I was of of course looking for a good deal and realized I had a very slim selection to pick from. Finally found a unit which had a good price and placed my order.
On following up on my order I was told the unit was discontinued. I was very disappointed to say the least however to my good fortune "Billy Jackson" from "Appliances of America" came to my rescue. He found me a similar unit by GE again at a good price.
Billy was very courteous and extremely helpful in guiding me through this process I was very pleased at how quickly he resolved the matter. Billy made every effort to provide me with all the details and quickly sent me an updated invoice. I can honestly say I had a very pleasant and covenient experience.I now look forward to my new oven. Would recommend dealing with Billy Jackson with purchases made from Appliances of America.

Price was good but no appliances ever showed up! Never got a update stating appliances were being shipped or anything as promised. Still waiting on a refund. Have disputed charge on my credit card. Also seller disputed my review on here claiming he had no record of me as a customer. I had to send a copy of my invoice to trust pilot to prove I was a customer.Once he billed my credit card. He was done with my order. He asked me to review him right after I placed my order, How can I review with out even receiving the product? BBB has an alert on Appliances of America as well and rates this company a F.

Placed an order with AofA on 9/20/15. Kept checking the status of my order, nothing was happening, after a few weeks received a call, claimed they were very far behind on their orders, I said that was ok, stated they would give us the choice of WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY or extend the warranty. I said the White Glove Delivery would be nice. Then offered both!! Not long after that conversation I checked my order status, it was finally being processed. Not long after that I received my billing statement from our credit card. A couple more weeks went by when I received a call from them again stating that we were too far for them to deliver our refrigerator, the closest they could get it to us was 4+ hours from our home!!!!! I replied that was unacceptable, had the order cancelled. Then received a call back a few minutes later stating for an extra $300.00 it could be delivered to our house. Unfortunately after reading so many other negative reviews I lost trust in this company. I said no thank you, asked when our credit card would be refunded, he stated 5 business days. Guess what? Its past 5 days and the card has not been credited. If you want to go through the hassle order from this company, if you just want what you pay for DON"T!!!!! Fair Warning!!!
UPDATE!!!! UPDATE!!!!! UPDATE!!!
After much legwork, numerous calls, emails and negative reviews sent to this company, and opening a dispute with my credit card, my account has finally been credited!!!

I placed an online order to Appliances of America on July 27, 2015 (Order # W8256). $3,494.00 was immediately deducted from my banking account. It is nearly impossible to speak to anyone there. It took them three months to let us know our item had been discontinued. We then canceled our order and was told it would take 2-4 weeks for reimbursement. It’s been 4 months and we don’t have a refrigerator or our money. Please check them out on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) website.

I placed the order and within 10 days i received a call from the shipping ccompany that my order was ready to be delivered. We scheduled a time, they brought the pieces into my home, un wrapped it, inspected it, all in 100% working order and fit exactly where i needed them to go with out having to call my contractor. I have been shopping for the Wall Oven Model# CWG3100WH Maytag 24" Single Gas Wall Oven. This oven is for my parents and fits into an existing cabinet in the kitchen. After shopping at local stores, online and ordering 4 times from different companies it seems this unit has been discontinued. Not only the Maytag brand but also many other 24" ovens of this kind. Orders were cancelled after being placed due to out of stock. After speaking to Billy Jackson at Appliances of America I received the same news as before. This item was not available due to being out of stock. Billy made the extra effort to find this item for me. Being price was a big factor in the purchase of this oven as my parents are on a fixed budget this complicated the selection of an oven. I would like to thank Billy for his extraordinary care in this matter. He did not have to go and do the leg work to find an available oven that would work. I am also in a similar line of work dealing with customer service as I am a firefighter / paramedic. My line of work can be very frustrating at times but is very rewarding. It really made me smile to know that there are others that have the same dedication to their job and making the customer happy. Thanks again Billy for all your help andkeep up the strong work. P.S. the oven has shipped!
