I love that I can contact American Residential Warranty instead of looking for a contractor to address my home repair issues. They recommended the best for the job and sent them right out to do the work. I no longer have to worry about the "what ifs" when it comes to repairs in my home.

I have an iPad that was having a charging issue. After trying several cords both apple and off-market, it would not charge.
I took it to Apple who tested it and told me the charging port was defective. As I have electronics protection, I filed a claim and paid the deductible. I sent it in only to get it back with a "new" screen. The original screen was NOT defective.
However, the "new" screen immediately separated from the unit. I sent it back a second time. Once again, all they did was fix the screen and did not address the charging port. This has been going on since August.
The third time it went back again for the charging port, they kept it 2 days and said they were sending it back "as is". They stated it was locked and on the cloud. The last time they told me to send it back, they only sent me a label, no paperwork to fill out. And the reason for that was I was told "they aren't interested in fixing it" but they need the unit in hand to replace it.
So when I finally got it back (mid-November), they stated because it was locked, they sent me an email stating that the claim was going forward and an agent would call. Ten days later I called them and that's when I was told they weren't interested in fixing it. Now finally that I have it back - still not fixed - they want my cord. This is all just stall tactics and ridiculous.
It doesn't charge with ANY cord, apple or not.
By the way, in the paperwork they sent back they said they tried to get ahold of me which is totally untrue as I track every call to my cell phone.
Today I called and asked for a refund on my deductible which they refused to issue because work was done on it.
However, the work that was done was not correct. It was not the work requested and now I have had to replace the unit because "I" am not interested in continuing this farce of sending this iPad back and forth.

For the most part my experience with ARW has been 4 star. On one occasion I had to wait 2 months for a replacement washer, but when my heater needed repair they were right on time and sent someone out the same day.

I wasn't sure if I did the right thing at first, but after finding how much it would cost to cover my frig,stove, and dishwasher I decided to sign up...thank goodness I did, two months later I had trouble with the touch screen on my stove. I called and two very nice men came to fix it, of course the screen was working and I was told if it happens again I should call..well it stopped, I called they came.. so happy they had the part on the truck and we were good to go.

I’m a new customer with American Residential Warranty, so far my experience has been on point, I contacted them In regard to my garbage disposal not working, the representative advised me that they don’t repair garbage disposals, they just replace them. She told me that she would order me a new one from Lowe’s, and that I would have to pick it up and once I picked it up, someone from Lowe’s would be called to
install it. They came and installed it, in a timely manner. I would probably recommend to a friend.

I've been a customer for some time now, one thing that bothers me is if I have a break down I have to wait until they find a repairman. If it's on Friday I have to wait until the next business day. Then I have to wait for 48 hours for a repairman to come.

I was so pleased with my service provider (GE Tech) to come to my rescue after my GE Profile side by side refrigerator/freezer overheated and I had to turn it off. I was afraid it might be a major issue, but I was so happy to find out it was a minor fix due to a faulty light connection and easily replaced switch. I was back up and running in no time. What a relief!
