Let me express my experience whit af since my last 3 flight together whit my family.
First Fly from cph to tls it was something very weird and humidity we left the baby pram before we bord the plane and I ask the person there do we claim the baby pram in tls or cdg because our final destination was cdg Paris the answer was ask the stewardess. Why can't give a proper answer to me.
2 We did bord the plane and just before take off I was moved from my seat to another for 10 minutes reasons pregnant women can't seat that chear it need my seat I don't know how it will prevent or helps her but I had it to move away from my kids for take off like I was the only one in the plane nice excuse.
Just humiliatiat us on the plane I ask a glass of wother it toke 15 minutes to bring it to me maybe they fax it from the graund nice.
So finally we have landed and I ask the stewardess where can i claim the baby pram now in tls or in cdg I get a response just go to league sorter and pick it up so we went down. after a long search we couldn't find it so we hade ask the information and finally we have learned that we will claim it in cdg Paris supernice.
3after a long wait we have learnd from an other company that our plain is delaying 50 minutes is so hard for af people to give a proper information and respect to us who's paying their salaries
Shame on them.
4 On the way back we been pointed in the wrong direction twice and we almost missed the plain and not enough they took our hand luggages before we bord the plain but why the stewardess was pretending that can't speek English but I wandering why took our hand luggage why not take it when we left the baby pram at the check-in bord
Nothing is missing so far.
I just like to bring it to your attention this is my last flight whit airfrance.

10 hours delay & overpriced Price lost 2000€ choosing airfrace, watch out for Lufthansa aswell they both are scammers. Use the advise & i wish u all good holiday.

After reading a lot of bad reviews I was a bit nervous about booking a flight with Air France. I had nothing to worry about.
I booked a ticket for myself and my 13 y.o. sister. When travelling with children younger than 15 Air France reserve your seats two days before the flight, free of charge, if possible. This is a great service. On board a drink and small snack is included. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Also hand baggage allowance of 12 kg. is very practical and more than many other airlines allow.
I would happily fly with Air France another time.

I have never witnessed a company as big as this treat customers with such disrespect and non-care. Me and my younger sister travelled with AirFrance/KLM in October 2018. Upon arrival at the gate, I was told that I had to check in my hand luggage as there was no space and I cannot carry it on the plane, after a couple minutes of talking etc I checked it in. My little sister didn’t have a hand luggage and therefore I could not remove any items from mine which annoyed me because I had planned to do university work during our transit in France.
We arrived at our destination but my hand luggage did not! After waiting in line for almost 2 hours, I finally got to report the issue and they claimed it was going to be on the next flight. I left my address and contact number and had to leave as we had a drive of 6 hours ahead of us.
A couple days later I was informed that a man was at the gate and stated he had my hand luggage. I immediately went through it as I noticed my padlock was no longer intact. My laptop was gone and other items. Paperwork and essays I had typed up and been searched through and ripped and I became instantly angry. The man said he couldn’t do anything. It is now December and AirFrance/KLM have been prolonging the issue, I have sent and re sent evidence of receipts etc and they keep stating they haven’t received it which I believe is a lie.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING ANY OF THESE AIRLINES (AirFrance or KLM). Reading reviews of this company had taught me a lesson as there is so much bad reviews about the company and how they operate it should be illegal. It has been 3 months which is longer that the 6-8weeks a airline company should take to pay compensation legally.

Just arrived to Paris (CDG) on an Air France flight from Houston, just to find out that boarding for our connecting Air France flight was closed.
The flight from Houston landed on time, but there were technical problems so we couldn’t get off and long cues in security.
Why didn’t you wait for us ?
You knew we landed on time and you must have known about the technical problems.
We could see the connecting plane when we got to the gate, and it didn’t depart on time, because you had to offload our luggage.

It's been 4 days since my checked in baggage went missing. AirFrance has still not provided me the applicable delay compensation.
They are asking me to ask jet airways for it, who are in turn asking me to reach out to AirFrance.
I booked the full itinerary through AirFrance.dk, so it should be airfrance's responsibility to pay delay compensation.
Can someone advice on how to pursue legal action to receive the delay compensation airfrance has promised in their website ?

Don't use Airfrance and DO NOT buy premium economy tickets!!. If your flight cancelled and you get a downgrade Airfrance will not refund the downgrade.
Me and my girlfriend bought premium economy tickets and spend about an extra 950€ on these tickets. After a million mails and phone calls Airfrance only thinks they are requiered to reimburse 60€ for this downgrade.
Where is the service and fairness in this Airfrance?!?

Had super low expectations for this company after looking at several horrible reviews, but I found it pretty good. Only annoying thing was that I had to rush from one flight to the next one, both Air France. The service was really good and efficient in the airport in Paris and also in both flights.
I was satisfied, but not impressed by the quality like Singapore Airlines or Emirates.

Worst ever! We've not yet gotten all our luggage here in Miami and We've been to the airport 4 times now and waited 2 days.
The air France personale are completely aweful! They promise to call the same day as we arrive regarding our baggage but do they even call? No?!!?
We only get 100$ as compensation which isn't even enough for the time we could've used differently with our pucking stuff!

Last time for airfrance/klm they not tell the true i book at klm and want to buy seat at air france but something is wrong can not to be booked when ask i only get this

jeg venter stadig her snart 1½ måned efter på at få lovede 5000 miles i kompensation for ikke fungerende Entertainment system på deres fly fra CDG til BKK.
Har rykket mange gange sendt dokumentation for at have en voucher, men intet sker bliver blot lovet at nu sker der noget.
Utrolig fårlig service, derudover er dette fly for det meste forsinket også på mine flyvninger, der gjorde at jeg ikke kunne nå at blive hentet i lufthavnen.
så hvis ikke AF gør det bedre en anden gang bliver det ved den ene stjerne, og hvis næste gang ikke er bedre bliver det et alternativ til dem, så hellere betale lidt mere for bedre service.

I have unfortunately been using Air France and their bonus program for the last five years, to my regret.
First, I have never had a flight with Air France that was not either delayed greatly or early(!).
Second, in spite of numerous flights across half the world, I can use their bonus program for absolutely nothing.
In comparison, I have started taking my longer flights with Sas in the last year, and already I am a gold member, enjoying lots of benefits.
Five years of earning points with Air France (flying to Colombia, Cuba and southern europe) has given me not a single benefit. I have not even been upgraded in their program! (ha ha, I know who is the fool for enduring this for five years...)
I don't want to use hours and hours describing my bad experiences with Air France, so here are a few:
Returning from Bogota to Paris with AF. We are in the plane when getting told to get off because they have a problem. We get a busride to a hotel, after waiting 5 hours in the airport, with no information. In the hotel we are told (in no polite terms) that the Air France customers must wait with checking in, if any regular customers want to check in first.
We get a meal ticket, but again are told that Air France customers can not sit by the windows in the restaurant, as these seats are reserved for the regular customers. (of course we sat down by a window and told the waiters that they could just call the police)
37 hours later we depart for Paris.
7 months after this, again Bogota-Paris. In Colombia, I get an email that Air France personnel will go on a strike, and that I have to change my flight. No problem, I try calling Air France.
And try and try.
I call for 21 hours (!) to no avail before getting through. By then they say that I must either depart two days prior to my scheduled flight, or wait an uncertain amount of time for a flight at a later date.
I choose to depart earlier, but by then it is almost too late, so within one hour of talking to Air France "customer service" I have to leave for the airport. Two days earlier than scheduled. No need to say that this was a stressing experience.
On top of this, I have never been offered any compensation for the accountless delays or troubles. My travel companion took the time to write a complaint (got no answer) then another complaint (no answer), then numerous calls to AF, where after he finally got some bonuspoints as compensation. Is it just me or is that unequal treatment? And by the way, he has never had anything to use his bonus points for either.
I wish I had more time for this, as there are so many more similar experiences to describe, but I am altogether done with Air France.
1 star here on Trustpilot is way too much for Air France, but unfortunately I have no lesser choice.
Never again Air France.
Update 27. september 2013:
I have 28000 AF points that I lose in one month if I don't use them. Wanted to use them on a hotel (since I am never flying AF again), and AF and Hilton have a collaboration. But the link from AF to use points at Hilton doesn't work. I write to AF to tell them that the link hasn't been working for two weeks, and ask what to do.
Their answer shows exactly the mindset that makes AF "service":
"Thank you very much for your message dated 26 September 2013. You informed us of the difficulties that you encountered on our website.
Connection problems may occur occasionally, we apologize for the inconvenience
We invite you to try later.
We thank you for your continued loyalty to the Flying Blue programme.

After flying with Air France regularly for the last 5 years mainly due to their value for money flights to South Africa, I recently had the most disappointing experience on the flight from the UK to Capetown and back from Johannesburg.
Starting with the ground crew who refused to let us take on an extra bag even though we were way under weight and having to repack our luggage on the floor of the airport, to hassling my companions who were both in their 70's, the air crew too were nowhere near as attentive and professional as they had been in the past, in fact I found them rude and unhelpful.
After raving about this airline to my 2 friends I was embarrassed and angry at the treatment received.

I had the most awful experience on a plane I have ever had. Delays, missed connections, rude staff, no communication and get this, dirty toilets without toilet paper. Air France is disgusting and I will never recommend them to anyone. Eight years ago I flew with them as well and they lost my luggage, waited a week to get it back.
Be warned and if you complain they send you generic letters. There is no personal service and don't think you will get them to admit their mistakes. I lost 1 whole day of my holiday, had to pay to change my connections and when I asked for compensation, their answer was £80. Seriously!!
