This company took my money, and sent me an email saying the flight is confirmed. When I contacted the airline directly, they said that my flights were not confirmed. When I called them back to complain, they said I had to pay $40 more to confirm the flight. After paying the additional $40, I called back the airline, the ticket was still not confirmed. When I called again to complain to the Airfare Experts, they said I had to book a hotel in order to confirm the ticket. They said this was "due to the fare rules of the airlines"...to book a hotel??? I asked for the proof document of this "airline policy", but they, of course, never responded to this request. I asked for the refund, but I'll see if they will refund. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!
NOTE: After seeing the comment (see below) by the scammer, I looked at my bank account. NO REFUND WAS MADE. This is how this company runs... I'm opening a dispute with my credit card company like many other reviewers here did on this scammer, Airfare Experts.

Refund due to me is seven weeks overdue and this company’s toll-free customer service number is disconnected. This is not a trustworthy site. Be careful!

What a terrible experience! The worst costumer service that I ve ever had. These Indian people do not know what they are doing. They are not responsible. They sent my request for a change one letter in my last name too late so the airlines did not receive it in time. Because of their own fault they wanted to charge me 1000$ .It was totally ridiculous. The airlines normally charges 25$ for that. It was the last time when I used a third party to get a ticket.

The worst service yet. They don't help their customers in case of any problems. Don't ever book through this agency.

We got a really good deal on an international itinerary. Paid 35% less than the competition for an Air Canada flight across the pond and back. Everything seemed to be legit. Customer service helped us with the booking. It took a bit more time to finalize the sale, but you are working with people, not software, so this is expected. I guess you just have to be smart when booking through this company, or any lesser known 3rd party travel agents. Make sure you read all the fine print and understand the terms and conditions. When you have a confirmation, call to verify with the airline as well and in advance. Also, make sure you have enough time for connections, since if something goes wrong, well, good luck. Bottom line, I'd be happy to do business with Airfareexperts again!

Obtaining a refund is not possible with this travel service provider. They will not provide you with a confirmation e-mail of your cancellation. Calls and complaints to customer service are responded with promises of call backs that never come or of being placed on call until their end finally disconnects. Multiple calls from the same phone line will get an immediate busy signal, but if you call from a different phone line your call will then be answered. You will be told that the individual working on your case is out of the office, but if you call on a different phone that person is now available. Once your flight has taken place, they then respond to your calls and state that a refund is not possible because you did not respond to their e-mails prior to the flight. Not only untrustworthy but fraudulent. Most definitely not recommended for travel.

My sister and I just booked a flight at the exact same thing (literally pushed submit simaltaneously with enthusiasm!) I immediately received a phone call that the price could not be honored and the flight was "very very expensive." A whopping $700 more than I originally agreed to pay. These people are good. They obviously know I am not going to book a different flight than my family. I ended up paying $150 more than I originally agreed to just so I could fly with her. I will never ever book with them again. This is a scam. We'll see if I even end up getting a ticket.

I booked two one way tickets (for me and my wife) to Europe. Due to my dad’s sudden diagnosis of terminal stage 4 pancreatic cancer, I had to cancel my trip to take care of my dad.
My dad was given 6 months or less to live in March 2019 and my trip to Europe was scheduled at the end of May 2019.
I spoke with Delta Airlines in late April 2019 over the phone. The customer representative told me they would work with me on my ticket credit due to the terminal illness diagnosis, however, the origination of the claim must come from Airfarexperts.com since they were the ticket aggregator and I had purchased from them. Fair enough. I was fine with either a credit or refund since I travel a lot.
I told Airefareexperts.com what had transpired and that Delta would work with them once they file the claim.
Airefareexperts.com then asked for my dad’s terminal illness diagnosis and I’ve since submitted everything they have asked for including a physician statement of his terminal illness. They still have not gotten back to me with a solid answer about the status of this claim even though I’ve submitted all pertinent paperwork (multiple times).
In a nutshell, Airfareexperts.com are liars.
They never followed up with me and only responded with a brushed off answer after I emailed them multiple times. I’ve since sent 3 separate follow up emails and they’ve all been met with silence. I know they have read my emails (from Hyderabad TG in India) because I have email open tracker software installed on my computer.
This is the last email they sent me on May 23 2019 and I’ve not heard back since. [I'm writing this review on June 16 2019]

Buyer beware. Airfareexperts.com are dishonest and do not have business integrity. Rest assured, the moment I see this website/company again in the future, I will happily pay more in order to NOT give them business.
This is the last thing I need to deal with since I am literally watching my dad deteriorate. And I have proof. What more do they want?
I suggest you contact your credit card company and do a chargeback on your purchase. That would get resolved faster than dealing with these crooks.

Always tries to add extra surcharges after your booking has been confirmed. They call you immediately from a call center trying to tell you a story of why they had a sudden increase in fees of at least $150+ often due to "technical difficulties." When you try to cancel, they will suddenly start dropping the price of the extra fees, eventually until the return to the original price. Not worth the time, hassle, or money. Book with another service. More worth it to pay more for good service than pay lower prices from such a shady, unprofessional company.

Absolutely useless company. I booked a ticket with them and the airline changed the schedule. They were not able to find any other routes. Airfare Experts promised a full refund. After one month with the refund not being processed, I got back in touch to check the status and they tried to claim that there was a $58 processing fee that was non-refundable. This fee was not mentioned anywhere on the original receipt for the ticket, nor when I initially talked to them about the refund. If I hadn't followed up I don't doubt that they would have just kept my money and never processed the refund. I have opened a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back.
Anytime there is a problem, instead of helping to find a solution Airfare Experts will complain that there is nothing they can do because of the airline. Save yourself the trouble and buy tickets from the airline directly. This company is a parasite that just sits between you and the airline, siphoning away your money while providing nothing in return.

I just booked a flight from SAN to NAP, with Era and she was just Wonderful!! She answered all my questions. Which she then helped me get myself and Husband... which she understood, he is not a healthy Man ( Stage 4 Terminal Prostrate Cancer) Our ONE and only trip to Italy. She was so sweet and special, she was willing to understand what we did and did not need, to make this flight the easiest as possible for Us both. She worked very hard on her end to get the best times and shortest layovers, all while keeping the price in my price range. Era I highly recommend. Era is so very understanding, a great asset to the Airfareexperts team!! Ticketes came when she said, she also assigned our seats...again so accommodating. Thank you Era, I recommend Airfareexperts for your travel needs!!!

Booked a flight only to be told after that the fare is not guaranteed until ticketed. Three days later, no confirmation, no tickets and no response to my numerous emails. The flight is in less then a week and have booked connecting flights on the basis of this flight. Now I am unable to contact ‘Airfareexperts’ and have no idea if I have a flight or need to book another. Read carefully there conditions allow them to cancel the ticket before issuing even though you have booked the fare! This is the worst experience I have had with an intermediary flight travel agency.

Booked a businessclass rountrip to Europe.
Called in 1 days after booking to ask why I havent received a e-ticket. Got reassured by the rep that its all good but airline just needs a bit to ticket the trip.
1 day later still nothing. Called in again to ask if everything is okay. Got reassured its all fine and price wont change.
1 day later I got a call that the price cannot be honored and I suppose to pay additonal $250 (which I did). Got reassured that within a few hours I should have ticket.
Next day I got a call that the airline wont honor the special and they had to cancell
They still show that special as a valid airfair on their website.??????
Booked via business-class.com just now with better price and had the tickets issued within 2 hours.

I am an avid researcher. And also a penny pincher. Those two do not generally make for quick buying decision LOL. I have been stalking airfares for our May 2020 Greece trip (from Texas) for almost a year to get an idea of how prices *MIGHT* fall. I knew I needed to budget about $2000 per round trip ticket - but hoped I could get it closer to $1500 if I were lucky. Two days after prices were published for our dates, I was on Skyscanner checking prices (again) - and about 11:30 pm on a Monday - I saw a significant price drop via this 3rd party seller. These particular KLM (Delta) tickets were listed for $860 round trip - the same route on the KLM/Delta website was booking at $2100. WHAAAT?!? That was a $1240 savings!!
The mix of positive and negative reviews for this seller (as well as other 3rd party sellers) had me worried that a purchase would likely not go through (bait and switch maybe? Long refund process? The headaches seemed likely.) But it was such a savings opportunity I took the chance. And I am very glad I did.
Here is how it worked for me:
1. I placed the order on their website for SIX tickets. It did time out on me ONCE, and I had to start over - I typed faster lol.
2. When I clicked the order button, I immediately got a screen with a booking confirmation number. I knew this was not a verification of tickets - just that AirExperts received my order. I also received this confirmation via email.
3. I then immediately checked my credit card account and saw a pending charge of $1 from AirExperts - so knew they were verifying that my payment method was valid.
4. About an hour later I received an "Important Notification" email requesting that I urgently call them. (However, this was the middle of the night and I was in bed by this point - so did not see this until the next morning. I did not call them.)
5. Approximately one hour after this, they sent a text AND email letting me know that my etickets were ready. All of the ticket information in their correspondence was correct.
6. The flight was through Delta / Air France. I logged into my Delta account and ALL SIX of the tickets I had purchased were there! Whoop! *sign of relief* I then called Delta and spoke with a customer service representative and verified that everything looked correct on her end. YES.
7. I checked my credit card account, and it showed a charge from Delta pending for the full price of the tickets. No other charges.
I did notice that the names on our tickets came through the Delta system with no space between First & Middle Names. The Delta rep thought this might be an issue with boarding - so I called AirExperts and spoke with Frank. On Franks end the names were correct. Exactly how I entered them and them were correct on all of the confirmations I receive from them. The spacing issue happened in the airline system. He told me this would not be an issue. I was still concerned, so Frank very patiently and kindly offered to conference call with me to Delta. I was very impressed with the customer service Frank provided. (BTW - the spacing is NOT an issue. As long as the names are spelled correctly - they can all run together. It's common in the airline systems.)
All I can say about the negative reviews you read - it's important to remember this is a 3rd party. They have no control over the airlines. So if your flight changes - they are at the mercy of the airlines to update them so they can update you. They can only put information into their system and wait for the airline's system to respond. I think if you are kind and calm - they will be too. Customer service is a hard job - getting emotional with them just makes their job harder. Booking via a 3rd party - generally, the actual airline will not be able to help you with changes - so you will need to be prepared for this.
Be blessed and have a great flight!

I got a fairly decent discount on my airfare to Barcelona when I booked a trip for a wedding. Unfortunately, I then broke my foot and could not go. I was worried about getting a refund, but Sara was very helpful and encouraging as she would email me weekly to advise that she was still working on obtaining a refund from the airlines. If I had a question she was very responsive, as well. It truly helped to receive updates throughout the process. Sara’s attention helped alleviate much of my anxiety and I was very grateful that I was not alone in the whole process.

I was given a confirmation of flight reservations, only to find one week from travel that the flights were not confirmed. No communication of cancellation had been transmitted...I checked my emails.
I was not charged for the nonexistent flight plan but had numerous adjustments, cancellations, and reschedulings to manage.

The worst company you can use. Nobody professional works here, it's all outsourced. This is just people making money off an algorithm running to collect fares. Just deal with the airlines themselves.

They cancelled my international flight without telling me. So I found out the day before my flight was supposed to leave when I went to check-in. Oh, and did I mention they provided zero refund? They stole close to $1,500 from me. They kept promising a full refund, then 4 weeks go by and dozens of phone calls and emails before I even got a partial refund. They then claim they never promised the full amount and don't owe it to me. They lied multiple times throughout the process. The worst agent I had to deal with was Severin. He lied, screamed at me, and did not help in any way. I'll be sure to never use them again and advise everyone to avoid them at all costs.

First time booking and it was a phenomenal experience. Era took great care of us and showed amazing patience when asked to repeat (almost) every detail back to us. Definitely one of the best customer service experience we've had in a while. AND the flight came at an unbelievable price. Two thumbs up!
