I have placed several orders to 1800flowers and at first they were excellent. In January 2020, I sent some exotic truffles that I saw on this website to my daughter for her birthday on January 3 2020. I paid $39 99 for a box of 9 chocolates and $30.00 plus on shipping. They said it would get there on January 3, as specified by me and confirmed by them. It had been over 7 days and I hadn't heard from my daughter. I received a recorded message from a Fed. Express office here in my town of Folsom, CA. saying that they are waiting for someone to pick up a package for Gemma Franck (my daughter) I guess my daughter finally picked it up; so much for the surprise birthday present. Customer Service was no help. The apology was insincere and very curt. Also, today 02/05/2020, I received a delivery of two plant arrangements and was very disappointed that they were nothing like the picture. The succulents in them were so small and fragile that they were breaking off. The plants were well wrapped and in a box. Too well wrapped. The bubble wrap and tape were wrapped so tight that the plants were squished and lost some leaves. I paid $87.00 for each arrangement plus exorbitant shipping charges. Way overpriced and I refuse to deal with their rude and insensitive customer service department again. Like II said, I have an order history of large and high-end orders. I have decided to not shop with you ever again and I won't recommend you to my family and friends. You have lost a truly loyal, kind and sensitive customer. Pay attention to your customer service personnel and get somebody who is empathetic to people's needs and also please hire someone who speaks good English and doesn't sound like they are reading from a script. A business office is only as good as their front desk reception. In this case, Customer Service is the first person someone talks to and they are so rude.

Ordered flowers for my mom s birthday. .I received an email saying flowers were delivered. They never arrived. I called and they offered to redeliver them 13 days later. They offered me 50% refund and 20% off future order. I told them I d never order anything. Customer service girl kept calling me John instead of Mike. She was worth less.They wouldn t give me full refund so I called credit card for a dispute.. I will never use them again.I will use local florists

I ordered flowers to be delivered for a birthday. I paid $55.95 per the flowers I picked online. They didn't deliver on the date specified. I called to cancel and request refund. They said they would refund, and deliver following day with apology. They didn't deliver them until THREE days later! I called to complain and again request refund as they were not delivered on time. They now say they won't give refund and that they will give a $20.00 gift card; why would I ever use there service again?? Look the pathetic flowers they delivered; nothing like the picture. Stay away from this company!! They will take your money.

I ordered a basket with fruits and snacks for my moms birthday . I ordered that on a Saturday and my moms bday was on Monday . I live in California and she lives in MA. On Monday morning I texted them to find out the status of my order then I was told that they couldn't find my order. Then they offered to help me with another order through text messaging . The worse part is that when I checked my bank account I saw the transition pending .So that means that they were able to take the money out my account but never bothered to call me or send me an email to let me know that there was something wrong with order . I still don't know what was wrong !
I ended up not ordering another basket just because I was so frustrated at that point . Luckily I told my mom about it and she said that she didn't care about a gift as long as I got my money back .
Never order through this website because they're unreliable ! I wish I could give 0 stars

I ordered birthday flowers. The bouquet was beyond skimpy, really pathetic. I wrote and was promised another bouquet. Promised on Monday, no flowers. Called again, promised on Tuesday, no flowers, called again promised for Wednesday. Nothing. So beware. Really, really really bad execution. And not much for your money.

I used 1-800-flowers for the first and last time. I was happy with a floral arrangement I received through them so I thought they was ok and didn't read any reviews. Ordered them for my stepdaughter's birthday (she lives out of town) 3 days in advance and knew they would be made by a local florist. I didn't read the fine print and they were not delivered until 6:40 PM (dark outside). That's not the worse part - the flowers were left outside of the driveway gate. No attempt was made to contact them or us (phone numbers provided) and she did not notice them until the next morning when she was leaving to take the kids to school. UGH - what's the point? Our surprise was IMO ruined by 800-flowers. I have not even seen what they looked like - don't even know if they survived during the night.

To be fair, I have used 1-800 Flowers in the past with no issues. However, I ordered a Christmas arrangement for my sister on 12/21 to be delivered 12/23 (I do this for her every year for her dinner table). I called to track the delivery...spoke to foreign customer service rep who was extremely difficult to understand and he could not understand me. He kept telling me the delivery was made on time...I know, for certain, it was not! He told me to check with the recipient and disconnected the call. I did check with my sister and the delivery was not made. She did not receive her flowers until 12/26. This experience has been very disappointing and I will not use this company or their services again!!

Back on 2/5/2020, tried to deliver flowers for someone in hospital. Still on 2/7/2020, flowers still not delivered. They called over six times, tried to answer they wouldn't say anything when I said hello. Then they can't find my order, they don't know how to cancel the order and they can put me in touch with a supervisor. There customer service is from another country and they afe by far the worst customer service to deal with in the world. Would never recommend this company to anyone. Horrible customer service

I placed an order online on Friday, 12/27, for a "Get Well" bouquet of flowers to be delivered on Saturday, 12/28, to a relative who had just gotten out of the hospital. 1-800-Flowers called me a couple hours later to inform me that their florist for that ZIP code was closed, so the bouquet would be delivered as buds packed in a box delivered by FedEx (with no discount, by the way).
I let the agent know that I did not want to send a DIY bouquet to my sick relative and to please cancel the order so I could order flowers somewhere else. She put me on hold while she tried to "make it right". I spent upwards of 15 minutes on hold while she tried to find another florist to deliver the bouquet - seems like they could have done that before they called me, but whatever. The agent found a florist. English was not her first language, so I asked her to confirm TWICE that the order would be delivered on 12/28 in a vase and pre-arranged. She confirmed for me TWICE that was the case.
As of 4:30 p.m. on 12/28, I still hadn't gotten an "out for delivery text," so I contacted 1-800-Flowers to confirm for the 3rd time that the flowers would be delivered on time. That agent informed me that the flowers were scheduled for delivery on TUESDAY, 12/31. I again asked to cancel the order and spent another 10 minutes on hold while they tried to "make it right." Their solution? To deliver the bouquet on Monday, 12/30. I was livid. I asked AGAIN to cancel the order. This time they try to offer me a discount of $16 on the $60 order to get me not to cancel. Is this company kidding?
Finally got the order cancelled and placed an order with another company, but it's too late in the day for same-day delivery. So the flowers will be late (but not as late as 1-800-Flowers would have delivered them). If 1-800-Flowers' agent had not lied to me on 12/27 to keep me from cancelling my order, I still would have had time to get those flowers delivered on time. Absolutely will not ever be doing business with this company again.

I called with several questions about a same-day delivery BEFORE even placing the order to confirm that making same day delivery would in fact be possible. I was reassured this was possible and placed my order.
Then I received a call back about an hour later saying the local florist assigned my order could NOT complete my order. I had to force customer service to try and contact a 2nd florist because they were not being helpful at ALL. They confirmed I would receive a call back when the 2nd florist was located and confirmed. This NEVER happened.
I had to call AGAIN to check what was going on, and was told a "2nd florist was already found and the arrangement was delivered", within a matter of 20 minutes.... MEANWHILE I had received no confirmation from this, and no delivery email either. Customer service put me on hold telling me they were "calling the florist to confirm it was delivered" meanwhile showing me no proof of this. I called the funeral parlor where this arrangement was to be sent to, and they had NO DELIVERY.
It was at this point I had to demand to speak to a manager because I was blatantly being lied to. The customer service manager finally told me that there was NO 2nd florist even confirmed, so there was nothing prepared and nothing delivered. I was completely lied to by several customer service representatives, and they refused to be of truthful help for the over 2 hours that I was dealing with them on the phone. I demanded a refund because my order was clearly not going to be made or delivered, which the manager told me would be assured.
As if this wasn't enough, later in the day I received an email confirming delivery, to which I called the funeral parlor once again to check if anything was delivered, and it was not. 1800-Flowers sent out false confirmation emails thinking I would not notice.
2 more separate customer service reps contacted me both saying my "order was not going to be able to be delivered today, but could be delivered the following day". These calls came AFTER the delivery confirmation email, so clearly they have no coordination or communication with customer accounts whatsoever.
They've since been giving me a difficult time about receiving a refund. I have never experienced such terrible customer service in my life, and during such a difficult time as a funeral no less.

For two weeks 1-800 flowers lied about delivering flowers which were never delivered.
They doubled the charged yet told me they were reducing the cost by me using the coupon
Of $20 off... again and again they were great at doubling the Visa charge when no flowers
Had been delivered. It seems that this is STANDARD PRACTICE for1-800 Flowers. charge
The customer for non delivered flowers, LIE, LIE LIE. WHATS WRONG WITH THEM.?

I received a Gardenia plant and ornament as a gift. I appreciate my father's gift very much, but I feel he was ripped off. The Gardenia is very small, measuring approximately 8" x 10", the ornament is plastic and thin metal, something you would purchase at a dollar store. I'm sure he paid in the $70.00 range to have this shipped to me.
Of course I would never say anything to my father, but I would like to warn others. I feel the pictures on the website make the items look better than they are.

Please do not order from this place! My fiance ordered me flowers just because. They were not at all what was ordered. Ok- accidents happen. Well they said to him that they would allow me to keep the ones I already had and start a new order from a different place and ensure it was corrected. It was not- so I messaged them. Asked for a refund because it came from the same place. They the customer service agent stated "I am really sorry for the misunderstanding, Laura. I can assure you that the florist was changed on the order that was sent to you today. However, when there is an issue with the quality of the arrangement sent, the florist usually takes back the old arrangement and replaces it with the new arrangement, so that you can enjoy a fresh arrangement. - Johanna"
SAME PLACE- So I sent her the evidence and she still lied to me. The place was not changed the place did a horrible job and brought me a smaller one to replace the other one. I am so let down and disgusted with their lies!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM! If I could do 0 stars I would!

I've used both this and teleflora. Here's the thing - in both cases, florists get a shakedown to have to conform to the huge cut that 1800FLowers or Teleflora levies, for the 'privilege' of dealing online. As a result, and understandably, Florists are NOT going to used their best and freshest flowers to fulfill an order that they're only getting a really small cut of the overall order. Also with 1800Flowers, we have absolutely NO CLUE whether the flowers made it on the delivery truck by looking at the website. My order for delivery today (only 5 min left in their promised window of delivery by 8 pm) was place 5 DAYS AGO so there's no excuse for it not being delivered today. The reviewer who complained about the difficult to understand offshore CSR is true - I'm Asian, and even I had a heck of a time trying to understand the Filipino lady - I had to stop her and ask her to speak slowly numerous times. In my past orders thru these guys, the bouquets are NOT fresh, and do not reflect in any way the bouquet photo posted online. So there's a disclaimer that the photo may not reflect what the recipient really gets, but to this extent, why don't they just get a kid to draw a flower with crayon and put it up? It's pretty close.
My advice - don't use 1800Flowers or Teleflora - instead do a google search for a florist in the recipient's area with good ratings and simply call them directly. I discovered that the Service Fee is in fact lower when you call a florist directly, and since they don't have to hand over a huge cut of their money to these clowns. They'll give you your accurate bouquet and on time.

I ordered flowers for a friend's daughter who had spinal surgery and 3 days later I am still trying to figure out why they haven't been delivered! I called for the 3rd time today and was told they were delivered yesterday and I said that's absolutely not true and they tried to switch it up and say they would be delivered tomorrow.. what??? Absolutely don't go through this company! Call a local florist yourself and have it done right. #1800flowerssucks

Called them and asked on the 23rd when they would be delivered and they told me they wouldn't be delivered until the 27. Just 5 days later than I was told. Would of been nice to get a email or something in stead of me calling to find out they couldn't deliver them on time. This is not away to do business.

I am completely sickened by what was delivered to my dying Aunt that will most likely be her last Birthday. Not only was the flower arrangement not anything like I ordered they didn't deliver the gourmet chocolates that I ordered. This is completely heartbreaking, I will never use this service again unless they make it right by 100% upgrade. Unfortunately it will not allow me to show what I ordered vs. what was delivered.

I wished there was a way to give a zero star to this outfit.
I ordered a flower arrangement for my daughter's Birthday. What she received was an empty vase with a bunch of flowers in a box. Never heard of such a mess up! I called and they said, " let us make it right and we'll send her another flower arrangement". But then I got an email that they couldn't deliver. I called again and after 1 hour on the phone with someone I couldn't understand her English, she tells me they gave the flower shop e wrong address. How can they screw up twice in the same day???? I asked for full refund but this doesn't correct the disappointment on my daughter's Bithday. Never ever order from this outfit. I am writing this review so someone else's special day is not ruined by these incompetent people.

Had flowers sent to my mom because her dog died. They said they couldn't verify the address. Try putting it in google idiots it comes right up! Supposed to refund shipping and only refund 10, when shipping was 25. Waited on the phone 27 min to talk to someone and they were completely disrespectful! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! BEWARE!!!!!!!
