York Test Reviews

I spent a lot of time researching YorkTest and the general consensus from medical experts is that it doesn't really provide any substantiated evidence. Nevertheless I looked at the large quantity of reviews that they have on sites like this and decided to go ahead with the test.

The actual service offered is very good. Fast delivery of kit, quick turnaround on results, really good customer service to keep in touch with you as you're going through the first few weeks of adapting to new diets...including the consultation with a nutritionalist.

However, having eliminated my 'red flag' foods for 12 weeks I do not feel any better and still have the same symptoms. I met with gastroenterologist recently to start a proper investigation of my symptoms. His summary of YorkTest probably hits the nail on the head..."I've never come across a negative result from YorkTest". I think the test will always find some form of 'intolerance' but I wouldn't bank on it being able to improve your symptoms.

My advice would be to seek full medical guidance and investigation first. For me this was an expensive delay in getting to the bottom of my condition.

The results were very basic, not all that informative and much less than I had expected for the cost. Disappointing.
