Personally I must say, do not do this, this is the worst. Their packages are just the worst and their customer service is impossible.

What can I say, this company should not even be allowed to trade never mind take peoples money. The content is impossible to find, is largely just repeats of other mindless crap, the remote control is a joke and you have buy another one and reprogram it.
The amount of negative comments means very little and as usual there is no consumer support from Government. This virus has exposed a lot of thieves and corporate negligence but they'll get a tax break while we are chased down and fined.

I made 18 months broadband contract with Sky in Feb. 2020., Next month - in March 2020 they increased the price for this new contract.
1. At the moment of signing the contact, Sky adviser assured me that 18 months contract will mean the same price for me during these 18 months;
2. How dare you are to increase the price in the hardest time when people are losing their jobs and at the same time you disconnected any kind of customer feedback/support line.
Disgusting. Against any human , business, moral and ethical principals.

Fantastic service from Sky tonight. A special thanks to "Darryl" who has arranged a Sky engineer to come out within less than 48 hours and "Roxanne" who helped with some account set up/linking. Both friendly, very efficient, courteous and resolved the issues. Exactly how Customer Service should be.
I had a long chat with Roxanne and told her all about the appalling Linden Homes and NHBC so called "customer service" and said I'd be writing this review.
I told her all about my contaminated/uninhabitable house problems & how Greg Fitzgerald, CEO of Linden Homes and Bovis Homes now under Vistry Partnerships has treated me and how Vistry have blocked me on Twitter instead of resolve.
I told her about the vast difference between the customer service received from Sky with a TV / Broadband / Phone service compared to a house purchase and the biggest investment of your life.
She was particularly interested as she said they were looking to buy their "forever" home so I implored her not to even consider Linden or Bovis, but to read the Trustpilot reviews and not to think I'm an isolated case.
Thank you Sky - your service to me tonight has been fantastic and Linden/Vistry should take a leaf out of your book.

My mother in law passed away recently after 20+ years with sky , the gentleman I spoke with to cancel her contract (Jason) was absolutely fantastic, he talked me through the entire process and took the time to pass on his condolences.. It’s the little things that make all the difference. Amazing service.

Would rate zero if I could, the internet speeds are the lowest I have come across and it’s clear to see that they have ripped us off upwards of £60 a month on them and I have measured download speeds of as low as 0.4mbps to its highest of 9mbps - this was from point blank of the router. When gaming you experience immense lag, a constant 100 ping with constant spikes that go to almost a whopping 1,011 ping and then the connection is lost. The range is terrible the internet disconnects multiple times when I’m just in my bedroom and even right next to the router I cannot even watch 5-10 min videos on YouTube without it freezing or buffering every minute and I can hardly even watch videos on standard 1080p. Only buy this WiFi if you love to suffer!!!

I've been with sky now for over 20 years, they are an absolute rubbish company, there always putting there prices up, and the broadband is absolutely shocking, and if you wanna get in touch with them you've got no chance, I know it's virtually impossible at the moment with everything going on, but they've been like this for years.

I need to know how they get away with putting up your bill without even notifying the customer?
Ive been with sky for years and i usually don't have problems with them but this year has been a joke. First the wifi is a load of bs and then they want me to pay extra for it as well as the subscription, even in these hard times where people cant even go to work to pay for their crap service they think “oh don't worry we will put up your bill to make it even hard for you”.
Sky you need to sort your it out and stop taking advantage of your customers at these desperate times.

Worst company in the world!
These parts have been charging us for the last 6 months for a broadband service we haven’t used and they have evidence that we didn’t use it and sent all our router and tv box back. They said they would not refund us and we would have to go third party. Penny in Newcastle is the person I spoke with first who was rude and spoke over me all the time then the manager called me who was just as bad and said I can’t go higher and he is not changing his mind. In a time where everyone is struggling a company as big as Sky fleecing people out of £40 a month on a unused account!
Actual swindlers and would not even go back to them if they were the last people left on earth!

Their customer service is disgusting!!! Trying yo get through to an agent is ridiculous. No none of your online help actually helps, and not given any options to speak to an agent is so frustrating. I have had payments gone through to a closed account and not been rectified. I have emailed and no reply over a week now. I don't care how busy you are you should respond within a week!! I thought Talk Talk service was bad but Sky you actually win the best at poorest customer service. I cannot wait to leave

As others have stated it's virtually impossible to cancel/suspend Sky Sports. I've tried on the phone, via virtual assistant and via a new page they have added to your account, which I have been stuck waiting on for 20 minutes. Why a simple click here to suspend button cannot be added is beyond me. But yes, the longer you subscribe the more money they make. It's not difficult is it, simplify the system!!!!!

Subscribed to Sky broadband for 2 years. They did not have the courtesy to let me know my contract had expired but were quick to nearly double the amount payable each month. When I raised the issue with them they surprisingly managed to reduce my bill to the initial amount. If they had done this in the first place and not tried to overcharge me they would not have lost me as a customer.

Would not recomender to anyone been a sky customer for a few years now and every time they keep slowly incressing the bill till I said no more and wonted to leave they begged me to stay and promised it wouldn't go up and what happened it went up so I asked to leave and there trying to say I'm in a contract and I can not leave and was so rude on the phone I leave it down to the public to make your own mind up

Last year I called SKY to cancel subscription. I was offered SKY Q to stay. I agreed only if there was no extra charge, and I would receive the same package as I was currently getting. After mucking me about by not turning up on arranged day, I thought that I would just cancel and be done with it as I've had many problems over the years with SKY. I was suddenly transferred to a Northern Ireland service man, who was extremely apologetic, and assured me that he would personally ensure that everything was sorted out. Indeed it seemed to be, except when I tried to download boxsets. I kept receiving the message that I didn't have the subscription. Initially I didn't worry as I thought it was a blip! Today I phoned up to be told that I should have been informed that boxsets would not be part of the deal. This was never explained to me, I would not have accepted under these conditions. I was told that they kept previous phone messages, and then was told that they didn't have my telephone message. I was left on hold while the young lady went to check with someone. That someone told her that they would reinstate it, but there would be a charge. I then said no, I'll cancel. To be told that there would be a cancellation fee. I said no there won't, I've not received what I was promised. I was passed about and had to wait another 20 minutes. I eventually got through to a young lady called Robin, who couldn't have been more unhelpful. I was asked why I had waited so long before phoning. I asked how this was relevant. I was told that had I phoned sooner they could have done something, as I obviously could have phoned sooner. Now one or two points were made eg. How did she know at what point I tried to download the boxsets. The other was. as it's an 18 month contract, why would I not wait until then? It would make sense from my point of view to wait. There were reasons why I didn't call sooner. I don't want to download every boxset, just the ones that having seen an odd episode I thought might be worth watching. After the first few times it happened, I thought it was a blip, also I am 70 years of age and don't relish waiting on the phone for 20 minutes or more. I was threatened with the account being put into the hands of a collecting agency If I cancelled. I have 6 months left on my contract for broadband, tv, and phone. I said I would accept the reinstatement of the boxset until the end of the contract, but they wanted me to agree to another 18 months. SKY, you stink, and I will be making sure I make this known in every avenue I can.
You show absolutely no loyalty to your customers. I hope the loss of my complete package is worth the cost of the 6 months boxset. I have other alternatives to SKY. My brother is a SKY customer, but I will be trying to change his mind as well. I know this doesn't amount to much as far as you're concerned. I tried to compromise, you wouldn't.

I honestly don’t understand with so many other platforms out now and for the staggering price of SKY why the platform you use to use it - it’s so bad. The Download function is terrible / amazon and Netflix so fast and stream instantly with good quality. Their customer service - is not good. I never write reviews for anything. My advice paint the wall and stare at it - the CEO needs to be replaced and they need to over haul it from 1992 and bring it into the 2020’s. It’s an absolute waste of money. I’m contracted with them until September and I’m thinking about paying it all off just so I can get rid of it. I’m just off to start the download for my next movie to watch next week under candle light whilst writing letters with a quill. Seriously - don’t bother, I can’t believe they aren’t trying to compete with Netflix etc. The customer service person actually said to me where but the quality is better on Sky - I laughed out loud. I’d rather stream something instantly than wait to for my 7oclock stubble to grow. Sky you need to do better because slot of people are going to leave this terrible platform.
Lastly I love it when shows you have watched about 10mins before just disappear 🤦♂️

I never write reviews but feel that on this occasion I had to. I went from being a virgin media customer to sky after finishing a virgin media contract, who I have to say were exceptional! Nothing was ever a problem! There broadband service was the best and I never had an issue with the tv either! Sorry to hype them up! After seeing a cheap deal and the contract being up I decided to switch to sky! Whatever was I thinking. I have had nothing but trouble, the WiFi connection is almost none existent, it will work for maybe an hour and then nothing. Calling sky is a waste of time as they just put it down to the weather or tell you to reset the box and again it’ll work for an hour and then nothing. It’s funny because when the technician came to fit the box he asked me who my previous provider was, I told him virgin media and he laughed, why ever did you leave them to go with sky he said. I should of known then. I raised a complaint hoping for something. Nothing! I was told that it was my fault as I didn’t chase them or get back to them to see what they were going to do. I’m sorry but who is paying who for a service! Absolutely disgraceful! None the less I cancelled my policy yesterday and that is the last time I will ever use sky again. Back to virgin media for me! Stay well away!

Sky: making business with ex customers money!
I cancelled the service and my contract was terminated but you still took the full amount the month after.
Yes I will get a refund next month but this for me is an illegal way of making business with people’s money that you’re not entitled to!
Disgusting company
