The delivery was amazing. Buying online was easy. However, as we had replaced our old mattress with the same, upon receiving it we knew instantly it was not the same at all (much softer and not at all a firm mattress).
As stores were closed due to coronavirus at time of purchase, we phoned to ask if we had to arrange an exchange over the phone or could go into the local branch to arrange it now that stores had reopened. The website quite clearly stated there was a 60 night sleep guarantee. We were told this was only on purchases made in store.
We asked to speak to the manager who reiterated that this was the case. He told us it was in the terms and conditions (after much trawling I did find this, but the wording was not exactly crystal clear). When we argued that due to coronavirus we couldn’t even visit the store he became exceptionally rude stating that their company couldn’t be punished due to this. When we said we would put in an official complaint, he essentially laughed it off saying it would be him that would respond to the complaint and we were wasting our time. I found this to be wholly unacceptable customer service and thoroughly unpleasant.
As every page on their website has the 60 night guarantee stamped at the top, I feel a complaint to Trading Standards is definitely in order. How can any company differentiate between online and in store purchases in this day? I implore people to seriously consider using this company. An utter disgrace.

Although not quite the fault of Archers Sleep Centre, I ordered a set of furniture for my living room manufactured by GFK in early Feb with an estimated 6-8 weeks for delivery. I was told that I would receive a call to arrange delivery closer to that date. However, this never happened and I was forced to contact Archers myself to ask about the status and was told that production had been delayed until early May but by this point it was too late and I had already gotten rid of my current furniture in preparation for the next. However, had I have not contacted myself I would never have received any correspondence from ASC which I consider to be pretty poor customer service🤷♀️.
Anyways, it's now the 3rd of May and I am still waiting to receive an update regarding my order. Hoping I hear something soon or else I will be cancelling my order and spending my money elsewhere. I have a 5 YO and a new baby on the way, and a front room that's completely bare of any furniture. I can't imagine that I will be using Archers again in the future.

Just feels like dealing with any other drop shipper really. They say it's in stock, but actually it isn't - it's being fulfilled by a third party supplier. Just wastes everyone's time as you're ultimately going to cancel. When I asked for an immediate refund they told me 5 days - why? If you can take my money immediately, you can refund it likewise thankyou! Gave an extra star because at least they e-mailed to say it wasn't in stock and, after an argument on the phone, they refunded my money immediately. Won't use again though because in my view tock should mean stock you hold, unless you have amazing systems that link in real time to your suppliers. Reputable companies make it clear orders are being fulfilled by a third party. Archers should do likewise.

This was our second mattress purchase after nine years with the first The first was from the Ideal Home Exhibition in the Glasgow SECC and was great. This second is the same one again. Delivered by two helpful guys. Very pleased.

Still waiting for product-as expected and arranged. However 1 star because I am utterly sick of the unrelenting cascade of detritus in the form of surveys- especially as in this case, it precedes the product by several weeks: so you're clearly not all that interested in my actual opinion. This is inappropriate use of my data- so a GDPR breach.

Ordered two items a month ago and heard no confirmation of delivery date (or even estimate)Then started getting emails asking me to review the items ! So decided to chase up the order only to be told that actually the items were out of stock until July !!!!
