After a few dealings with other local agents we went with McKensie-Smith after a reasonable quote but was sold on the enthusiasm and professional team. Gavin, Gavin and Paul communicated well through the sale of our property all though the difficult post COVID era. While the process was a long one, this was not down to the team and their outlook remained positive throughout.

The service provided was clear from the start. We were kept informed throughout even with Covid delaying the housing market and as soon as restrictions were lifted contact was made straight away.
Communication from the estate agent has been great throughout the whole process.
Fully recommend Mackenzie Smith to future sellers.

Horrendous. Based on experience with Jason Bowden at Ash Vale branch. He does not act in his sellers best interests. I spotted property I eventually purchased when it appeared on Rightmove. Despite my being on Mckenzie Smith books and my having sold I was not informed of this property in my desired area. Jason had arranged for sellers of property he’d sold to view and they were coming back for a second viewing. I had to insist on being allowed to view too. I was told McKenzie Smith give preference to people properties they’ve sold . This was despite me being in a much stronger position and therefore a better bet for the seller who their supposed to represent. Of course this doesn’t guarantee them their two commissions if they can tie it up. Jason also was totally unprofessional and criticised the seller to me as ‘causing trouble’ and making the solicitors McKenzie Smith had recommended less likely to engage! His idea of chasing things through was to e mail buyer or sellers solicitors for updates and then say he’d had no response. My seller conducted all bar one of his own viewings and told me Jason wanted him to accept the other offer albeit mine was stronger. On completion day my solicitor advised me to contact the office but I just got a message saying they were busy so again we cut out the middle man, McKenzie Smith, and buyer and seller sorted it. The seller paid fees for very very little. Additionally I was staggered when I tried to place my offer Jason was too busy in an internal meeting and would ring me back when he had time.

We've dealt with Mackenzie Smith for over 20 years and have always found their help and advice invaluable, particularly their knowledge of local conditions and values. Most recently they have acted for us in a very small matter but this has not detracted in any way from the first class service and attention to detail which we have come to expect.

Mark Wilson from the Hartley Wintney branch was the estate agent on a house I recently purchased. As a first-time buyer Mark provided me with realistic and helpful advice throughout the buying process.

Even though I was not the client and was on the buy-side, Mark still provided me with outstanding service. Mark was always available for an honest and friendly conversation.

I had Andrew Travers assisting me all the way, He was genuinely professional and helped me with all the details until i moved into my place. I can safely say that he was also very friendly and maintained distance due to Covid-19 when i went to the office. I do thank him for the hard work as he kept me on the loop of every step

I want to thank all the guys at McKenzie Smith for the great work they have done, on my behalf. In particular Steve Panther. Steve is an exceptional agent, and I can not praise or thank him enough. My sale / purchase was fraught with hurdles from the start and it was Steve who helped identify / iron out any issues that arose. His approach is second to none; a perfect blend of understated competence, sincere interest in the good of the outcome, knows the market inside out and has a brilliant sense of humour - which is vital, I think.
One aspect that made a huge difference for me is that I could trust Steve. Trust his intentions as well as his guidance... he never needed to be chased up and was always one step ahead, even of the solicitors. I liked that I didn't have to learn about the property market, that I could rely on Steve's knowledge and experience and that if he made a suggestion, to just go with it. Because he knows his stuff.
When Steve was furloughed, Gavin took over and, although Steve had put in the graft, Gavin did a fantastic job of seeing me over the finishing line, to completion. Each went above and beyond for me, and I owe a debt of heartfelt thanks and love to both. McKenzie Smith are fortunate to have them, and both deserve a bonus.

Our first contact with Mackenzie smith estate agents in ash was in 2018. All of the staff at Mackenzie smiths were polite and helpful when we made any contact with them particularly Jason, Who was the main agent managing the purchase of our first home. Jason was informative, professional and efficient whilst dealing with our purchase and had extensive knowledge about the area we were purchasing the property from which we found useful being first time buyers with no insight on the surrounding area. In 2019 after extensive renovation work we decided to put our home on the market and made no hesitation deciding to ask The same branch and team to advertise our home for sale on our behalf after a successful smooth purchase the first time around.
Some parts of the process slower than expected but at no fault of the agents side of things but in-fact our party solicitors who we found to be at fault for a lot of the delays in the process.
In summary, we are pleased with the service overall received from Jason and his team at Mackenzie smiths in ash and would not hesitate to work with them in the future.

We bought a property through Mackenzie Smith Yateley, from start to finish they were excellent, we mainly dealt with Gavin Fry who was very helpful, responded to emails and calls and kept us updated at every stage, which was more than our agent (Romans) did! Also spoke occasionally to other Gavin and Paul who were polite, helpful and professional, in my opinion they seemed to be more experienced and seem to care more than some of the other estate agents, would recommend.

Fabulous experience and Nick Kirby in particular was nothing short of brilliant; managing to pull everything together in extremely challenging circumstances. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone and we are extremely grateful.
