I ordered a sweater on Dec 12 as a xmas gift. When they sent a confirmation they said it would not arrive until Jan 19. I contacted them immediately. The customer rep said she could not respond but that someone would get back to me soon. I waited three days and called again. The rep said they would cancel the order and refund my money but that it would take 3-5 days for the credit to appear on my credit card. The following day I got an email saying they could not allow the refund because the sweater was customized. I pointed out that the rep had already agreed to give the refund. If the original rep had cancelled when I requested the customization would not have come up. When I was told I was getting a refund I bought another sweater elsewhere. I am a senior and can't afford to buy another sweater that I don't need because the company did not respond in a timely fashion.

I ordered for a Human Race top Lids.com were selling. After making the payment I got an email from Lids saying my item should be received by December 9. Just a day prior to getting my order, I was sent an email delaying it to December 30. Now we are close to the date, I just received another email informing me I will receive my paid item on January 19.

Simply the worst. Slow processing and shipping times (16 days to be exact) Then if you want to return anything an extra $15 is charged. The stores are no longer linked to the website. All downhill since fanatics took over. I’ll never order from here again.

Pretty disappointing. I was not informed when my stuff was being delivered they did not update it at all. It said it had not been delivered yet but was actually delivered to the wrong building 2 days ago and if I had been informed it was being delivered I could have went an tried to track it down. So now after waiting 2 weeks for one item I have to wait 2 more days to be refunded because they have to wait til the shipping date before they can do anything, even tho fed ex has already confirmed that it was delivered!! I dont think I should have to wait any longer! Just disappointed I get it takes a little longer with everything that's going on but to not be informed an there site to keep saying not shipped when it was an now I have to wait even longer is ridiculous

I purchased 2 items. A shirt and coffee cup. Items arrived quicker than estimated so I was pleased with that. As it was a gift and I was already late on ordering. However, when my items arrived it was a large box. And when I opened my coffee cup that was wrapped in very little bubble wrap was broken! So much for my gift timing! I went to there site to access customer support and their is computer robots of no help. And only option of returning items damaged is to mail them back and then to be approved and then your refunded! What kind of crap is this. Iailed item back. We will see if I receive a refund. I should have looked at reviews before purchasing anything from the company.

I ordered hats that cost $75 bucks and they don't fir. Can't return or exchange them. It such a hassle. Now I have 2 hats that just sit in my closet and look pretty! I DONT recommend them at all!

Young lady that was working at store #6461 on 07/24/2020 tried to close the store 15 mins early. Then had a attitude because I wanted to buy a hat. Didn't ask for my rewards information and engage in zero conversation. Idk why she's working there tbh

Just horrible service, and over inflated shipping prices. 1 months to ship 4 hats, because they use the cheapest possible shipping service available. (But you pay DHL prices.) Customer service is just... well a joke. Absolutely last time i order anything from lids.com

I ordered two hats for $41.98 plus $7.99 shipping, a total of $49.97. When I received the hats in two separate boxes, they were a size too small for my head. I took a trip to a Lids location to make an exchange and they claimed I could not do it in store and had to ship the hats back.
I followed the prompts on Lids.com to initiate a return. I found out that return shipping would cost $9.99. That’s an absurd amount for a package that weighs well under a pound. They populated two return labels, one for each hat. I only used one label and put both hats in one box with the other label because I thought they might charge me twice. To get the right size, I’d have to make a new order and pay $7.99 shipping again. That’s $25.97 in shipping for a simple exchange for size. That’s a lot of money to ship two hats that weigh next to nothing.
But it gets better... they did charge me $9.99 twice for shipping despite me sending the two hats in one box. Out of the $49.97 I paid initially, I received $18.03 refunded to me. So two hats that did not fit which I simply wanted to exchange cost me $31.94 only to end up empty handed.
I recommend you do everything you can to avoid shopping online with this company. They are clearly thieves and can’t be trusted to provide quality service. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Their customer service never responded to my message about this theft. I will never do business with this company ever again.

By far the worst online customer representative I have dealt with.
Most of the time, when you try to connect to a sales representative, it automatically hangs up (after having you go through all the bs questions in the beginning).
After about 4 times of trying to reach a representative, I got connected with the most incompetent worker.
None of the workers knows what’s going on and their site will randomly cancel your orders for no reason stated. Good luck trying to find out why since the number they provide you doesn’t do anything.

Feeling ripped off:
I have purchased things in the past from Lids without any issues. This time around however, of the items I ordered only 1 actually fit. I followed the size charting just like every other time however it clearly was not accurate. The frustrating part is I had to pay almost $15 to have it shipped to me and then I have to pay an additional $14 to return it. I tried multiple dates and times to live chat with customer service to no avail as I wanted to inquire about an exchange. Just ended up sending the items back, seeking a refund. Based on their current return policy, I doubt I'll order from Lids again.

I bought a hat online for my son for Christmas... When he opened it on Christmas morning, there was no packing slip or receipt in the box and the hat was too big.... We were told we couldn't even exchange it for the same hat at the lids store...then we we called customer service, I was on hold for 45 minutes the person picked up and hung right up on me... Then I called back, was on hold another 40 minutes only to be told I'd have to return the hat, wait up to two weeks for a refund, then repurchase!! The girl I spoke to had a serious attitude problem and when I asked for her supervisor SHE STRAIGHT HUNG UP ON ME!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I bought the hat on sale, so now I'll have to pay $15 more FOR THE SAME DAMN HAT!! QUITE A SCAMMING RACKET YOU HAVE GOING THERE LIDS!! Why would anyone even order online then?? It's a waste of time and money!! SCREW LIDS!!!

If there was a way to give zero stars I would do it! I had the worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced today at their location in Town Center Mall in Kennesaw, Georgia. The two men working were rude and dismissive. I wanted to exchange an item for a different size ( same exact item) and I had the receipt. They wanted to charge me $46 because the person who rang up the initial sale gave a discount on the item and shouldn’t have. When I explained nicely that this was a gift and that made no sense the man told me to “ calm down”. I am a teacher... there is nothing not calm about me! ? I will never shop there again and will tell everyone I know about our experience. Now writing to their corporate office.

I ordered 6 hats from these people. the one hat got to me in 4 days the others will take 2 weeks to get them. But they sure as hell cashed the credit card payment I made the same day I ordered though. I even tried talking to a rep on their site and they didn't try to do a damn thing for me AT ALL. Could have even sent me to their Scottsdale store to probably pick up hats faster but they didn't try to do or say a damn thing to help resolve the issue of a paying client. This sure as hell wont happen again..... I advice everyone to not order anything from them till they get it together for their clients.

0 star if I could, so i ordered LTN98784391 (this is the tracking number) and product #3519479 on Nov 1st and was shipped on November 4th , I paid Visa Gift card and the amount was around 99$ and thrown away the card after tht. I didn’t get the item coz everybody knows how pathetic their courier delivery company is. Then we called them and they told us we will refund you and then we asked them to mail us the payment by cheque and they AGREED . we waited for like mire than two weeks , thn called them back and shockingly they told us we didn’t mail you a cheque , we refunded u the payment through the mode of payment u made, and in response i was angry and told them i cannot get tht money and tgen they created a ticket# 2035839 and promised me you will get a money through gift certificate, told me to wait fr two days and lids will call u, i waited and i hade to call them back by reminding them u owe me money and now they are saying we cannot giv u refund as it’s already processes with visa gift card u paid the item for. I was so angry the way they’ve been playing with me and now luckily i have their last two call recording in which they made false promises to me, i’m definitely going to consumer court against them coz they harraased their customer and didn’t provide the refund , very pathetic company

Rant about LIDS at the Sierra Vista AZ mall.
We had a hat embroidered today and it looked awful. They would not re-do the work nor give us our money back.
The girl doing it seemed to be a newbie and was constantly on the phone with her manager for help.
The thread broke and stopped at least 15-20 times just on the first letter of embroidery, that was while we were there. Who knows how many it times it stopped for the rest of the letters. The girl was having problems with the machine the whole time and kept adjusting it.
The embroidery on the hat looks shoddy and not fluid. It looks like a kid tried doing it.
She called her manager who wouldn’t do anything remaking or refunding. Said store policy is no returns. We were told to pay for the hat before it was made and weren’t told anything about any ‘store policy’.
We Spent $43 for a hat that will never be worn!!
the girls excuse was that the letters were big and that’s why it looks the way it does. If it was a seasoned employee they could have warned us about that issue and we would have gladly had the font smaller. Truth is was the machine kept breaking the thread so she had to keep starting over and adjusting the hat so it missed areas. She didn’t seem concerned about it and. She saw what the first hat we had done there years ago looked and how precise the stitching is.
Do NOT go to LIDs unless you want to waste your money!!!
