Ripped off by Auto renew alongside me taking out a policy.
1st Year was perfect at about £90. Then without my consent Rac auto-renewed my policy at a £27.50 a month(£330) per year. Along side that I had joined again online at a cost of around £90 a year.
I also checked that I was covered in Europe.
6 months later I get a nail in my tyre and this is where the 2 polices came to light. anyway, Refused to help and said I wasn't covered abroad. Wouldn't refund me in full for either one of the policys.
local garage fixed my tyre thankfully.
Rac you have left me very frustrated and dissopointed in your service.

It was easy to set up. I have not needed to use it on my present vehicle, but I know from previous experience that it had been a valuable service, when previous vehicles I had have broken down. I like the security that I have knowing that in case of difficulty, help is just a phone call away.

After joining, I was expecting some information in post confirming details of your service.
A card to put in the car giving a number to phone if say my wife breaks down when she is alone, and advice if either of us is involved in an accident. ++
