It wasn't the first time I was shopping at zooplus. I love this store. There are always nice prices and the delivery is very fast. I've never had anything broken in a package.

I honestly don’t understand the less-than-good reviews before me, because I’ve only had great experiences with Zooplus web shop and their service. Sure, sometimes an item gets mixed up and you receive something different, which never really bothered until my most recent order where I received 18 cans of gravy food instead of pate, which my cat refused to eat, but it was resolved the same day by Zooplus customer service refunding me the full amount of the products!!
I love the webshop, the offers, the bonus program, the delivery times, and the service!

Order never arrived because they are using the worst shipping service: DPD Suisse. Sad! I waited for the package for a week - a painful wait of lies from DPD who never even tried to deliver and never even left a note but keeps logging "tried to deliver but consignee cannot be located." So, I'm sorry Zooplus. I was excited to get the goods but it never arrived because you are scrimping on the shipping delivery service. Not ordering from you again until you change your shipping service.

I used to buy here a lot and then they went downhill so I sought out others.
Increasingly problematic issues:
- long delays in shipping
_- they have to get everything sent from their German warehouse as they have no in country warehouses but mislead customers about that by sending tracking numbers that only start getting active 5 or so days later
- they significantly raised shipping costs even for their "pretend it is free with 49 euro purchases", so they are not really free as they tag on a supplement for weight,
- they reduced the points programme products so now only unpopular items get listed there
- they had a major outage that took a whol day to resolve
- after the outage a number of articles were not listed anymore or out of stock
- a bit later even more items starting to be almost always out of stock or they would send an email it is back and one would not find it available anyway then while each time promising it would be there in a few days
- they significantly raised the prices of their products in the last month
- any customer service interaction gets returned with cookie cutter, cut and paste answers and no exact solutions as if reps are not authorised to do anything
Really sad that they are clearly on a downhill slope in service, pricing and availability.

Terrible customer services with rude advisors who offer no help or support whatsoever. They are ignorant and talk over you and imply you are wrong when they've sent the wrong item. Still have an unresolved issue and struggling to get the wrong item collected to get our money back. Won't be using them ever again.

I have never had a bad experience with this store. They always dispatched my order within the next day. This time, I’m waiting for my order for 12 days now. Post.nl did not come with the order once. I stayed at home twice because the delivery was scheduled, even came from work earlier. Guess what, nobody came, it is 30kg package that I cannot physically pick up sitting at the “nearest” post.nl location which is 1.5 km away from me. So you can have it back zooplus. Thanks.

I am so upset! It was my first time buying and I have made an order for cat food and treats on the 28th November. Everything was in stock on their website and they indicated that the shipping time is 1-2 days.
After a week I was not able to check my order state anymore, it always gave me an error and said that I should check back later. After 2 weeks I have decided to contact them using their contact form, because I was getting concerned regarding to my order.
Guess what, I have not received an answer, they have NEVER contacted me to inform me if there's a delay or what not, and just today I discovered that they have cancelled my order! Of course I got no explaination, no notifications, nothing! I had to find out myself that my order is cancelled by logging in to see if they were able to fix the error I was getting.
They better transfer my money back in the following days.
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering because now I can see that everybody else is constantly having problems with their services.

Used to be a nice and relatively cheap webshop but they increase prices every year (10 or 20%), they have introduced a minimum order amount (while you pay shipping costs anyway) and the whole shopping experience has deteriorated (minimum order amount not communicated, communicating discounted prices that do not apply once logged in, trying to upsell at every step).
Won’t shop here anymore, will probably go back to a physical store and pay a premium. Pity, because they have a good selection of products.

Very bad curstomer service, Article was defect after two days. Offered me a small discount but it took weeks to get that money! Weeks! Emails from the company were very unfriendly.
Never going to order at zooplus again!

My advice is to shop elsewhere.
Regarding their Dutch shop;
- Orders take ages to be sent out
- Transport (DHL AND postNL) is so bad that numerous shipments have arrived heavily damaged: over 5 bags of litterbox fillin had to be thrown out since the bags ripped in transport
- Packing material and boxes reek of cat urine
- Several packages of food where covered in cat urine
- Helpdesk asks the same questions 4 times and still offers no solution to damaged goods.

Great products and seeing other customers sharing photos of their dogs wearing coats helped me choosing the right size for mine. Only thing is the shipping time. I had to wait more than one week to receive my order, inbetween I received a mail that they would ship it from the Germany. Satisfied with the quality of the product!

Useless long delivery delay and zero communication. Would advise using a UK based company instead - which may cot more initailly but at least you won't run out of esentials and get no response to your emails (with a bit of luck)

Brilliant service: I ordered on Friday, got it on Saturday; check-out easy as ever; got a small gift with my order for my cat (cat snacks). Absolutely recommend this website instead of all others. In my case, they sell cat-food (Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary S/O High Dilution) for the lowest price per kg compared to other websites. Once, again - love the service, recommend to any pet owner!!

I will never order here again! The prices are OK and delivery fast but when something goes wrong they have no intention to solve anything. They sell bad and broken products. They have other names where after you have decided not to buy from them again you turn out to have done so after all. Again ordered cat food of the brand I always use which my cats won't eat because it is bad. This only happened at Zooplus.

We are regular customers for nearly a year now. We chose Zooplus because we get a great variety of products and a lot of good brands that are not available in local stores.
The option of buying big packages with a discount saves us a lot of money. The bonus point program is definitely nice for regular customers and you can get nice rewards.
The delivery was always fast and reliable. The mailman probably hates us for our 30kg packages, but at least the cats are happy!
Small minus for customer service though. I sent a contact request four weeks ago and still haven't gotten any reaction.

When I first ordered by zooplus nl my delivery was under all acceptance. They failed to deliver to an address 3 times. Although I kept giving the right address, zooplus altered my address (cut it in half) to DHL so they could not find the address. And they did it again even after I called zooplus about this problem. And when I called DHL about the right address they could not change it because of regulations, zooplus must do it, not the receiver. And this zooplus failed with 3 times until one driver of DHL actually knew where I drive the package because the driver knew personally where the company lays to which the package was supposed to be delivered. So zooplus did not solve this at all. The only reason the package found its way was because if that DHL driver who knew the destination company's real adress. And this took 2 or 3 weeks of deliverance because of this incompetence. And the boxes was in an unacceptable state too. Completely bashed up and ripped in some parts. Luckily nothing inside was broken. Really bad work zooplus!
Delivering directly to homeadress the second time went better.
