Very expensive for the service you get. There was about a 40% markup charged for the service compared to just working with the plumber directly, with little extra benefit or convenience for the cost. I understand this pays for Zoofy's insurance and their marketing costs but that's too much. If you can Google, or ask someone to find the serviceman/woman you need then choose that and you'll save yourself a ton of cash.

Is just a scam

Do not trust. I went through 2 months of a flooded shower where zoofy refused to help or intervene. This was a simple blocked shower. Plumber came once and did not finish the job. He promised to come finish up and 2 months later i still have no resolution. So i am putting this here for any expat. Do not use Zoofy. Zoofy will not help you and the quality of servicemen are low and unprofessional. Look for a more reputable place. The plumbers name is Mohamed Zenyati and even after all of this Zoofy refused to remove the plumber from their platform.

I already had a bad feeling about this site. So I booked an electrician to change my old sockets with new ones. I booked him for the next day 10 o’clock. After I booked him he texted me said that he would be there at 18 o’clock. Starting great. Electrician arrives, everything starting good, but all of a sudden he couldn’t fix a light switch. One hour became two hours, two almost 3.
It was a light switch with 4 cables. So he pretend that he didn’t know what to do and just tried to plug the cables in different varieties. I’m like tf I can do this myself if you’re just trying out which cable could work. So the electrician leaves and send me an invoice for a job that wasn’t even done. So I paid 150€ for wasting my fn time.
He said he would come by the next day to fix it. Of course zoofy wouldn’t know about it so he could get charge it black.
So I’m at that socket trying something out cause the electrician was doing the same. After 5 minutes I solved it myself.

What a disgrace.

Everything was wrong in the service provided by Zoofy:

- I contacted them initially through the web, explaining in details what needs to be done (some cleaning and painting)
- I then received a match with a painter saying he would contact me for appointment next Tuesday 8am as requested
- Of course, the painter never called, so I called him the day before to confirm. He did confirm in the morning, and then called me back again to confirm this was for Thursday (which was quite inconvenient for me) Nevertheless I took another day off and agreed.
- The D day, 40 minutes after the time the guy was supposed to be there, the guy calls, explaining he will be there soon, and asked to confirm the address, which he had completely wrong (of course)
- He eventually arrived (quite late), and starts by asking if I have paint (???) - the paint color reference was specified in the original job description, but he never read it, of course.
- So he asked me for 70 euros in cash to go get the paint, but then the painter asked me if I had brushes (yeah the professional painter come to your house and THEN ask YOU for brushes)

- Gave the guy some cash so he could get paint and brushes, and went to work while he was 'performing'

Now coming back to the appartment, I see a few bit missed, and LOTS of white sports on the ground, which most likely was unprotected while the paint was applied.

This probably took about 2 hours for a poorly job. Next day I receive an invoice for 360 euros without details. I contacted Zoofy but of course could not do anything there.

It is too late to do anything now because I gave back this flat and moved to a new place, but never never again I will use these terrible (and terribly overpriced) services. If I hire a painter I expect him to be on time, to come to the right address, to come with brushes and paint, to protect the ground.

Avoid at all cost.
