Charged an undisclosed foreign exchange rate and asked odd questions in the confirmation email
I ordered an NFL tshirt today from this website zodiacce.com, allegedly a fan shop site. The price said $26.99 and they gave me a total of $30.99 after no disclosed tax or shipping fee. I got a receipt email that looked somewhat legitimate. I then got an email saying my order was successful that said to contact [email protected] or visit the website if I have any questions and it stated “the amount showing on your statement will be a bit different from the price on the seller’s website according to the foreign exchange rate of the bank” I now have a pending charge of $38.45 on my bank account. At the end of the email it says to send feedback for a possible $3 reward and asks where I heard of the site, who owned the card that I made the purchase with, my go-to online shopping browser and what I use to make purchases on. I feel like this needs to be investigated for authenticity, I don’t know what I should do. (There was no phone number given)
