I booked a trip with them for 30th anniversary, they promised a boat large enough for 6 guests and two crew. They promised 4 cabins. They booked a boat with only 3 cabins. When we arrived at the base to pick up our charter the charter company said that they boat booked for us was too small, so they tried to find an alternate boat. They did, but this boat was not properly checked out it had a malfunctioning generator, an inoperative water maker, and no dingy (so no shore excursions, we could only make dock and I had to pay docking fees). Zizoo says the issue is not them, but rather their partner. I did business directly with Zizoo, and was discouraged from working with their partner by Zizoo. Zizoo has pointed fingers, and told me that since I did not submit a report, they couldn't help me. This is not true, I hand delivered the report. Then they told me that since I spent the first night on the boat (I did, but without the crew, and only to see if a proper boat could be found) that I somehow accepted the arrangements. It should be noted that the captain was called in early, and we sailed 8 hours in heavy seas at night, to return to the marina to get the boat prepared.
I hired an attorney, and have requested full compensation for the holiday so I can try again with a reliable company. No response provided. I have been advised that since they are an off-shore entity, and given the time they have tarried avoiding the situation, I should give up. I have, but I would like to see this concern go out of business. I think Zizoo is incompetent and dishonest.
