I feel that zap hosting is a very easy to use and cheap alternative to any other provider and it's relatively simple to use.

customer service is the worst at zap hosting.
The agents make it seem like its a hassle to wait on you. They've deleted our server twice in 2 months accidently when doing other maintenance acting like it was our fault and saying they are not responsible even though they had to completely move us to another file host because of how bad they butchered it.
Today the server is down and they are trying to tell me there was schedualed maintenance that is advertised but yet the guy can not show me where this is advertised, hes to busy arguing with me that I should have known better.
In July when we were getting rid of an unused game server for no reason they moved the server we were getting rid of over to a our main file server and over wrote EVERYTHING this was the only time a customer service agent seemed to care and actually admitted it was their error and tried to appease us with 3 days free service.
All in all the customer service has turned me off of this company entirely, come the 12th I dont think I will be renewing my service. Their agent Pascal a 'level 2' support is absolutely the worst, and has no business answering customers whatsoever with his inability to make a customer feel like they matter in the slightest, taking ownership of an issue and acting like hes going to resolve it doesn't seem to be in his deck of cards, nor does apologizing or appeasing a customer for their frustration such as today when its the 3rd time in a week the server has went down with a total of 24ish hours the last 2 times combined and who knows how long this time
They need to hire good customer service agents, or bring in some good trainers. Customer service isn't hard, I have done it for years and years and coming across this well of despair is truly disturbing given the number of people they serve.
also is it me, or do all the people who gave the company 4 or 5 star reviews seem to not have pictures......
As you can see from their response, they are not about taking ownership of an issue,. They remove a server from our account after placing its file structure onto our main servers file structure which caused a huge issue, then when they remove the server they also removed the file structure from our main server. And yet its some how our fault for not having it backed up with their back ups service that we have been using daily but doesnt save everything. Thats the quality you can expect from zap hosting.
Thats what Ive dealt with every step of the way with zap hosting, go to bed with a server thats working perfectly fine and the being the only one with access to the file structure, wake up to a completely deleted server. Doesnt matter that when its happened in the past an agent took ownership of it and compensated us since they admitted it was on you guys... that it was your error.
The next time the guy realizes something was messed up and had to move us to another file structure, and yet was unable to recover the data that was lost because of you guys deleting our file structure, but ya you never delete anything, right!?
Tonight I got on only to see the servers down for planned maintenance. It was so planned they didnt send me an email or advertise it until they were doing it, goes well with the lack of a response from the last time there was an issue when their agent whose 'just another person' didnt bother answering me....
Also keep denying it, but instead maybe tell the person(s) you have leaving the reviews for you on mass to switch it up and make it seems plausible those are real people reviewing you. Maybe not make every other one have matching title and text and to not use copy and paste since the typos en masse make it blatantly obvious. A real selling point would be if some of them did have pictures for a change....
October 2nd 10 hours later,
The server is down again and Zaps staff is working and the same dude pascal is the one answering people, ask him whats up get a copy paste, ask him what happened last night he says it didn't happen. The conversation went really down hill and is pasted below, enjoy!

There was no interference on our part.
It is not possible for us to understand why you could not start your server at that time.
In such a case you can look at the logs or contact the support directly.
However, I cannot give you further information on the case as described above.

could you express what makes such a thing impossible as to being unable to share information as to what steps would be used by a support staff agent to replicate an issue?
We can't turn back the time and not re-run the attempted start 10 hours ago to look for an error.

no one has asked you to turn back time, nor has anyone stated it was possible to do so. Clearly you have a process for replicating errors if you said you were not able to replicate an error it means that you would have had to tried to replicate it in the first place. Unless that was false information.
If there had been a malfunction in the system, this would have been noted with us.
But that is not the case.
So there was no general problem with the system itself.

guess i will just have to wait to be able to see this interface until after your maintenance since when ever i click the server i get kicked back to your main page with no message as to why

If hes a level 2 customer champion then zap hosting doesnt know what a champion is. 0 apologies, no effort made to actually look into the issue, and the level of rudeness, off the chart.
And yes I have screen shots saved of the whole chat.
8 hours later from last update.
Servers still down, and the support staff isn't around.
A further 4 hours later
No updates and the server is still down. going on 16 hours.
4 more hours later:
Our server is finally done being maintained. No messages, no apologies not a damn thing. 20 hours of it being down for what they said would take 2 - 3 hours. I wish there was a 0 stars because they deserve it.

Server is back down
oct 3rd, 6 hours after last update.
The server is finally back up, and an agent named Marcel answered and showed that at least one agent understands customer service. Hes just an agent, not a level 2 customer champion and yet he knew how to take ownership of the issue, apologize, reassure, compensate and complete the ticket without the need to be rude or petty hopefully he is not punished for showing proper customer service skills.
Over a day (24 - 26 hours) for zap to do what they said would take 2 - 3 hours. Following 3 out of the last 5 days of dealing with the server going up and down and dealing with their "level 2 Customer Champion's" rudeness.
Promote marcel, let him train people.

Marcel didnt apply the time, I noticed this and messaged support only be told I was wrong, and to be dismissed by the agent. It took me getting angry for him to actually look into it and lo and behold I was right they hadnt added the time. Below is the very cringe chat

given the experince of double talk when trying to work with your customer service I will state ahead of time that I have documentation of the end date being the 12th for close to a month with trying to fund raise and fro mthe review left on trust pilot

which would be the 16th
accoording to your counter theres 7 days and 10 hours which would take it to the 11th, not even to the 12th but what ever a couple hours. if the compensation was added it would be 11 days
and as the compensation was just yesterday it defintiley has.....
I ran out of room to finish adding the conversation. After him trying to flat out dismiss my issue, he finally looked into it and sure enough the time was applied to the wrong account and instead of it going well from there all down hill

I have heard so many mixed reviews with regards to using Zap, and I can tell you personally I love using Zap, with there hands on servers and there quick to help staff I give Zap 5 stars for the great experience I am having using their service to run a fivem server.My best advice is for everyone to try it for themselves. Do not buy a single service from Zap hosting, they do not offer refunds I have bought a service and now I'm asking for a refund the same. It does not offer what they advert.
