Miss-sold. I was not sure whether our hot water tank could be heated using the solar system, The salesman sent a photograph of the tank to his manager who instantly sent a message back saying it could be heated. Installer after about an hour told me it could not.
On complaining Zanussi told me that the manager was not qualified to make that decision and the photograph sent by the salesman was unclear. Both clearly Zanussi's responsibility. Seeking compensation as lack of hot water heating means system runs at a loss. About to escalate to conciliation service.

I was promised a £5000 discount that wouldn't last If I didn't sign on the day. I signed under pressure and now stuck with an inferior product. The salesman pressured me in to buying from Zanussi. Zanussisolar are not taking responsibility for this Act of Aggresive commercial practice and mis-selling. Please watch out.

I had the system installed few weeks ago. I was Informed verbally by the salesman it works mostly on light so will always (at day time) get a reasonable amount of energy and it will produce 3.9 KW/h (3900 W/h) in perfect sunny conditions or may be a bit less when it is not very sunny. I was led to believe that at any time (day time) there will be enough solar energy production to operate my background usage and at least an extra appliance (for example a vacuum cleaner, washing machine, dryer, ...) in particular if used them in sequence one by one. The reality is very different: During most times (off course bright sun is limited), I get very small amount of energy (about 400-500 W). This amount may not be enough for my minimum background usage. Occasionally, the system produces a bit more (may be 600-800) and this may lead to a little bit extra energy production that is exported to the grid. This little bit extra production is not enough to operate an extra appliance (for example a vacuum cleaner, washing machine, dryer, ...) so I end up paying for electricity from the grid if I operate an appliance. When there is shiny bright sun, I get reasonable energy production but these moments are far in between and do not last long enough to operate extra appliances and so the energy goes to the grid. In summary: 1- I was mis-informed and mis-sold. 2- I still use a lot of energy from the grid. 3- I export energy to the grid with out any benefit to me. 4- I wrote to Zanussi and called them many times but they have fixed ideas and positions. I even told them that I want to a refund and they can take the panels back (under the 14 days rule) but they are trying to buy time and they hope I get fed up. Total waste of money.

MINUS 11 RATING.
In February 2019 Zanussi Solar fitted panels to my property. During this process my guttering was damaged. They were aware at the time that they had done this and just left my guttering hanging. I have phoned, I have emailed and even put a MINUS 10 review on this site. I hade a response to my review asking for my details so they could resolve the damage Zanussi solar had done. NOTHING HAPPENED. 10 days later I phoned Zanussi Solar to find out what they were doing. I will get someone to call you I was told. Another week gone past but still no call. I now have damp coming into my home. I CAN NOT SAY THIS STRONGLEY ENOUGH. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM AFTER INSTALATION IT WILL BE YOUR PROBLEM. THEY HAVE A TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN ATTITUDE. I am now putting reviews on all the review sites and social media sites I can so others do not have to suffer the Zanussi Solar mantra of if you ignore them they will go away.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Everyone should be using solar energy it’s a great way to save money and you are also helping the next generation to help the world be a better place. Solar energy creates clean, renewable power from the sun and benefits the world as well as the environment. Alternatives to fossil fuels reduce carbon footprint at home and abroad.
Saving money by reducing your electric bill is one of the main appeals and selling points for solar as a product and home upgrade .

I wish the rating system allows no stars or minus ratings because this is what Zanussisolar deserve.
They sent an email saying that my complaint is closed and I have to pay the rest of the monies. I responded that they can not take this unilateral step. However, I had no feed back.
This is completely opposite to their response to my first review on TRUSTPILOT saying that the process of investigating my complaint is ongoing. Again another evidence of misleading statements (to put it mildly).
Now, I don’t know is the complaint still open or closed. Certainly, the recent communication I had from them was a threading letter demanding payment of the outstanding amount.
Note, I have already wrote them an email that I am exercising my right of total refund within cooling period (14 days). However, they ignored it completely.

This rating is because I thought I was miss sold. I was promised a government grant of about 3000£ towards my loans but come to know it's a feed in tarrif be very careful all the below bad rsiting is absolutely true you can get cheaper options with same warranty I would say please ask for a quote and do not sign on the same day. They would try and do everything to make you sign by just zooming the sigh box please read all documents. Don't forget the whole system will cost you every month about 150£ plus electric and gas bill they won't say that to you. They have trained their sales man very well . But Zanussi as a responsible company should let people know that how much they are paying. A middle class working family will really strugle for next 10 years. Be very care full do not recommend Zanussi. Custermer service is very good.
Only advice to Zanussi that a company of you size should be more responsible and let the family's know the exact figure so they can budget properly.
It's not about the environment for Zanussi it all about sales and Target.

THIS IS A -10 RATING.I had solar panels fitted by Zanussi solar in March this year. A scaffold was erected at the rear of my property by SDL SCAFFOLDING LTD.
When this was removed SDL SCAFFOLDING LTD broke my guttering.
They knew they had broken it and just left it. My guttering now leaks in two places, one of which is over my conservatory. I informed Zanussi solar and they said they would deal with it. I informed SDL SCAFFOLDING LTD who are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. EMPTY PROMISES. Zanussi solar have great customer service when they are getting the job and doing the job. After that you are on your own. Even though I informed them of these problems nobody has ever contacted me to see if the problems caused by their contractors have been dealt with. I can no longer sit in my conservatory during or after it has rained as the dripping water is too annoying. My solicitor told me to give them ample time to resolve the problem caused by SDL SCAFFOLDING LTD, before we take Zanussi solar to court. I think 5 months to resolve this is ample. WATCH THIS SPACE

Still struggling with Zanussi Solar to get the system off my roof. Their customer service is terrible and the company has nothing but sweet talking salesmen.
There is still no third party validated information available for Zanussi Solar panels which are 'apparantly' very nearly as good as the best in the world. The company makes unsubstantiated claims and false promises to.win people's business.
Please be careful and do your research. Trust credible sources of information and you wont be disappointed.
All the best.

This company seems ok. As long as things go well. If things don't go well this company will just ignore you.
Phone them and they say someone will call you back.
NO ONE WILL CALL YOU BACK.
They present as a professional company.
THEY ARE NOT
They have caused damage to my property 6 months ago.
What have they done to repair the damage they caused.
NOTHING. NOTHING. NOTHING.
Companies that deal with problems are great companies to deal with.
THIS I NOT A GREAT COMPANY
THEY ARE NOT EVEN REMOTELY GOOD.
THEY ARE REALLY REALLY BAD...……………......………………...…………………………………………………………………………………………...BAD. You get the idea

I had lots of information from the sales guy and he left me his number in case I had more questions or a problem.
The installation was no problem - the men worked hard and knew what they were doing. The electrical aspects were explained carefully to me and I can easily follow the results of having the system on my lap top or phone.
I have had lots of guarantees and numbers to contact if any problems arise and staff at Head Office are friendly and helpful

Super simple process.
Great quick installation and now we spend the whole time watching the app to see how much we are generating and saving!
We have air source heating and the solar complements it perfectly.

Overpriced solar panels with battery. Look for some opinions and quotations about this company on Moneysupermarket. General rule 4KW solar system is around £4000 - £5000

Very good customer service.
The appointment was scheduled in a convenient for us time. We received loads of information from the salesman and then detailed emails from the whole team so we were well informed at every step of the process.
The instalation was quick and easy and we received loads of guidance on how to apply for feed in tariff.
Thank you Zanussi!

The switch over was so easy and quick. Installers were considerate, friendly and explained the installation and the website plus app to me, very clearly. It was very convenient to have such a easy change over. The salesman was not a salesman either hehe. He was a lovely man, talked me through it and didn’t talk me into it at all. He let me make my own decisions and was very well mannered.
Would really recommend this see it as an investment in my future and the future of the environment. Only a small electric bill, bit of a a large loan to pay off, but doing it in manageable amounts every month. In the future I will get back what I have spent by selling the electric to the grid. It will take a while but I will be worth it. I believe that I made the right decision!

From first contact to completion of installation, everything flowed smoothly. I have no complaints at all to bring forth, The salesman was tops, the installation team also. Everything was sorted in less than two weeks. I would recommend Zanussi Solar.

Very hard to fault from start to finish. Excellent communication and extremely good cusotmer service. When I had an issue with my roof which required that I get a roofer in to fix it before they could finish the installation, there was no problem with extending to amount of time that the scaffolding was up in order to accommodate this work. All in all I was very satisfied with how it all went, how the panels look and how straightforward it is having quite a lot of very high tech kit in my house.
