While I like the recipes viewed in Yummly, when trying to download the app on my iPhone and then iPad it continuously required me to sign in and then check my email, rinse, repeat. It also didn't synchronise on my iPad and iPhone as all other apps do. I even signed in on the website thinking that might help; no it did not as it made me have to sign in again, check my email again, and so on. Bizarrely complicated so I've deleted all apps

If you google and yummly is in the results. Don't bother following the link. It won't have what you are looking for.

You could NOT make it more DIFFICULT to view recipes if you tried. Wish I could give you a negative star - your website isn't worth any.

No other site puts up so many obstacles to getting to the actual recipes they promise.... Then on top of that, they spam you with emails every day forever after (until you consign them to the Spam box). One big UGH to them! So thoroughly not worth the hassle, especially when there are so many great recipe sites out there!!!

There's a lot of great recipes here. But if you want to get to the action of how to make them fast forget it. You're going to get a long preamble of the how, the why, the when, the taste, the on and on. Then when you hit the one you want images are intruding, specifics are somewhere else and you just can't get there fast.
Great recipe. Overloaded presentations.

Nothing short of an abusive piece of advertising bait to people that are looking for genuine answers.I want real, Not this. Anyone that can provide a service that is verified with its suggestions will get my sub for sure.

Found some lovely recipes, one in particular after about ten questions. When I clicked on it, I had to re-register and send an email. When searched for again, never found it. The search engine is non-intuitive and now I'm no longer hungry. GO F YOURSELF FOR WASTING ABOUT HALF AN HOUR OF MY TIME!

I used to be able to enter this website without stalkerish advertisements, without a screen asking me stupid questions, and without forcing me to register to be able to look at recipes. Once I tried registering, nothing worked to let me see recipes. Yummly has sold its soul to stalkerish and greedy $#*!s who don't know how to make fully functional websites that are actually user friendly. Many people have made accounts on Yummly to no avail. Stay away from this website! There are other better recipe websites that let you look at recipes more easily without stalkerish advertisements that won't force you to stop your adblocker, without giving you stupid questions about the recipe you are looking for before you look for a recipe, and without requiring you to have an account that probably won't work before you are able to look at recipes. What I am saying is the truth. Don't believe me? Go to the yummly.com website and look for yourself and see what you think is the truth. This is 2019, but problems keep happening. Not that I am surprised.

Forcing viewers to answer questions I guess I can deal with but the huge pop up that asks for your email with no way to bypass, I can't deal with. There are 100 other sites who will let you read for free, no strings attached.. How about the option to subscribe/sign up? Geez.

When I am looking for a recipe, I CAN determine which one suits my needs. I am NOT going to sit there for 10 minutes answering stupid questions. Even if you press "No Preference" or "Skip," it still takes you through an excruciating list of dumb questions that often are not even relevant. There are PLENTY other recipe sites online and I won't bother with that one again.

Waste of time! I just want the recipe. Yummly asks too many questions. So frustrating. I see their website pop up and usually skip it. Every time, I do select their website, I get asked tons of questions and get annoyed again.

Browsing the web is exactly that... browsing the web. You can't even see a recipe on this site without signing up and going thru all kinds of hassle. Forget it. Recipes aren't that rare.

I wanted recipes to use up my vanilla almond bark. I had recipes with almonds, with vanilla, with chocolate bark. I had some recipes with bark in the title, but after opening many, many recipes, I never found a single one that used vanilla almond bark.

Add up all the negative reviews listed here, and that's my review. I need to reach the 100 character minimum.

You are forced to sign up before you can see or do anything useful. After sign up you will be spammed with useless bull$#*!. This site is predatory. Avoid using your main personal email account at all costs. $#*!, Yummly.

No reason to need to sign up just to use the website. Thats a bull$#*! move for a recipe website....

It's simple. I googled, the site came up. I browse to it, half my phone display is hidden by some horse $#*! message. When I click, it redirects me to everywhere but where I expect.
This is hands down one of the worst websites I've ever used. The people in charge of these decisions should be hanged, drawn, and quartered. The page is $#*!ing awful. User experience? $#*! no. It's hell. Somewhat got paid to make this garbage and they likely struggle to fall asleep because of it.
It takes a minimum of 20 clicks before I can see an actual recipe. This does not make sense.

Am trying to unsubscribe from this annoying website but it won't let you scroll down to do so! So far still stuck with having to delete their endless emails.....!

I am really surprised by all of these negative reviews. Although the site did initially ask several questions to narrow down your preferences and does require you to sign up, I would say that it is very worth it! It sounds like many other users never got past that step, so never got the chance to see how useful the site is. I exclusively use this site now, I transferred over all my recipes saved on other sites (Pinterest, Good eats, etc) because I loved it so much. I'm lactose intolerant, and I love how you can apply certain filters (food allergies, etc) to your search results. You can also narrow down by things like cook time, number of ingredients, and diets (Paleo, Vegan). When you save a recipe, you can save it to as many categories as you would like to make it easy to find later. I even found an extension that allows me to save recipes to Yummly from other sites. This site is like the ultimate search engine for recipes posted on blogs, food/brand websites, or wherever! I highly recommend it.

Every time Google forces me to use yummly I regret it. If I try to open the recipe in the app... The app opens and... I have to search for the recipe again. Urk. You have to scroll a long way down to get the recipe and then press a button to see ingredients. Nothing good to say about it.

Forces you to sign up, then asks you a never ending string of questions to narrow your search for a recipe. STOP IT!!!!!!!! Cannot browse the recipes easily and properly - will avoid all pushes to use this site in the future
