I had nothing but problems with my Yowza Osprey Treadmill. It squeaked all the time and little black shavings constantly came out of bottom. Customer service was non-existent in my experience. Couldn’t find parts needed for repair. Had it serviced at my expense but only lasted 2 weeks. After 3 years of problems with unit, I finally got rid of it. I’m a senior and used it very lightly.

Yowza is a Horrible company. The worst warranty and equipment. Stay away please, you will be doing yourself a big favor. I purchased a new machine from their official website, they sent me a refurbished one and still problematic until today. They have a fake warranty that never worked and never even sent me one spare part. I am quite disappointed because I paid almost $2000 and they never any service to me. They promised to send me a full refund check more than a year ago, but it never arrived.
Please note that they also sell in department stores under the different brand name, stay vigilant.

these machines will break!!!
I bought a Captiva in 2015. I guess I should feel fortunate that Yowza has responded (unlike reviews from other customers that posted here, BBB and consumer affairs).
I have received at least SEVEN new parts from Yowza over the last 2.5 years. The first issue was the spring. It kept breaking. Yowza would send me a new spring in a timely fashion (probably 4 times) and I would immediately replace it. Then I received new arm assemblies that according to Yowza would fix the problem. After that the gears broke. Yowza sent me new Captiva-312 Gear Left side and paid a technician to fix the issue. Since the arm assemblies came the week before the gears shattered, the technician installed both the new gears and both arm assemblies (thankfully!!). It took him a long time to do both and he broke several good quality allen wrenches in the process. (FYI- The technician who installed them said everything was too tight and not great quality. This was his own opinion. He also give me his opinion on these products compared to others. I did take value in his opinion as this is what he did every day of the week- fix broken machines from various companies.) In 2017, the pedal was extremely unstable due to a 'cheap' nylon nut. Yowza sent a replacement. Now, there is a loud clanging noise that Yowza has not addressed yet. I do not want to use the machine as this sound is getting worse.
Hopefully, Yowza will contact me soon. I will give Yowza the benefit of doubt as they have always responded eventually (although it did take multiple times contacting them and being persistent). Moreover, Ft Myers was hit with inclement weather not too recently (maybe wishful thinking that's the reason they have not responded). However, after reading several reviews here, BBB and consumer affairs, I am concerned about this company and especially the warranty. As people have posted, this warranty is only good if Yowza responds. Is Yowza still in business? I will update this post if Yowza responds.

I bought the Captiva in Feb/2016 . It became noisy (squeaky, scrunchy) about a month later. It is now aggravating even with ear buds blasting in my ears. I've had this thing lubed 6 ways to Sunday, called for support to no avail.
I would sell this POS if I could but I can't get it to stop making noise even for 5 minutes so I can unload it to some other sucker!

Yowza Captiva Eliptical is an Excellent machine until the springs break and then no response from the company! I just want my springs replaced so I can use my machine! I've called and sent numerous emails to Ashley with no response. Unfortunately when I call the company, it appears the phone has been shut off. If anyone has suggestions on how to get parts please let me know.

Do not get any product from this company. There customer service is horrible. No one answers the phone except the sales team. I have had issues with springs in their eliptical since i got the machine. Now my machine has been unusable for 2 months and I cannot get anyone to respond to phone calls or emails. Horrible company. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER.

I bought an elliptical ( Islamadora) last year from Yowsa Fitness and just recently had a problem with a spring under the foot pad breaking.
Called customer support number twice with no answer either time. Used online chat who told me to call customer service. After informing him that they don't answer the phone, he told me to email customer service. I have emailed them twice with no reply.

Purchased the Miami Elliptical on November 28, 2016 after reading MANY REVIEWS. I took a chance on this newer company, when I could have easily purchased a Nordic Track or another known brand for FAR LESS.
After spending over several thousand dollars on the Miami machine that can't be used, I'm fuming at the lack of response from Yowza. I am beyond disappointed and here's why:
Paid to have the item delivered inside my home and a separate technician to assemble on a different date.
Issue #1. Approximately 10 days after placing the order, I received a phone call from the logistics company to arrange deliver to my curb. I explained my delivery fee included placement in my home and the logistics company representative argued with me that they can't deliver in the home because they don't allow their drivers to carry the item. Mind you, the machine is in a box approximately 6-7 feet long by 2 feet wide and weighs over 225 pounds. It's huge. Of course one person can't carry it!! I had to call Yowza to complain and they confirmed that the delivery does include placement in my garage and that the assembler technician will carry it to the room of choice for set up. Yowza had to call the logistics company to get them to deliver it to my garage. Again the logistics representative was argumentative when we spoke the second time to arrange delivery. Be warned: Not highly skilled in customer service.
Issue #2 The machine was used for 24 minutes before the left foot pedal broke. After calling the toll free support department at Yowza and getting an answering machine, I left a message on a Saturday afternoon. I don't believe their answering machine provides callers with hours of support. The same day I decided to contact the technician who assembled the machine. Note, he is a contractor, not a Yowza employee. He came back to my home right away and took apart the pedal to figure out what happened. He showed me that the pre-assembled pedal unit (by the manufacturer) where the bolts fit into a shaft was stripped and the bolt would never stay in place. A new unit would be needed. I took video and photos with the technician explaining the problem while it was taken apart.
Issue #3 Spoke to Jason at Yowza about the pedal the same day I left a message for tech support on Saturday. He informed me the support department was closed and they would call me on Monday. I called Monday afternoon to follow up and Jason indicated that the support person comes in at 2pm and that he would call me when he got caught up with calls from the weekend (clue). It's now 2 business days later and I'm still waiting for someone at Yowza support to acknowledge the problem, and get the replacement part shipped overnight. I really would like to use my machine.
Issue #4 The app does not work. Jason informed me there is a particular sequence to use when downloading the app. I've downloaded it several different times, different "sequences", on several Apple devices. The app still won't work with the 'special' scale that is a selling feature with this machine. Useless.
So far, not so good to say the least....

Dissatisfaction with Yowza:
1. One of the reasons I purchased a Yowza was the 5 yr warranty. Unfortunately, a warranty is only good as the company offering it. Yowza has been terrible in my warranty claim handling thus far.
2. The plastic housing was very difficult to align when assembling the machine. Even the pre-assembled housing is not aligned correctly out of the box.
3. The machine made unusual noises from the onset.
4. The motor apparently has failed.
5. Customer service is awful. Having to send numerous emails that have NEVER been replied to a single time. Calls are not returned. When you finally get somebody on the phone (Ashley Hall), he tries to rush you off the call. You have to go out of your way to keep trying to call them to get somebody in person. I guess they hope the customer will eventually get frustrated and give up.
6. Warranty parts are not shipped expedited. Took nearly a week to get a stocked replacement console despite already experiencing a 3-week delay. IMO it was merely a delay tactic by Ashley Hall. (This did not fix the problem).
7. Heart rate monitor is a joke. One of the major reasons I purchased the machine was the claim that it has heart rate control. While it does technically have it, the heart rate is highly inaccurate which makes this feature useless.
8. The ergonomic motion of the machine is poor. It is not a smooth consistent motion. Rather the machine (when it was working) has more resistance at certain points in the motion than others. So, it feels like a buildup and release, buildup, release, etc. This is not just due to the failed motor as the machine still has this awkward motion now with no resistance.
9. Yowza apparently doesn’t stock common replacement parts such as new motors. Despite a new motor allegedly being ordered a month ago, I’ve received no indication when the motor will arrive. No tracking number. Only excuses from Ashley on the one phone call I managed to have with him. One of his excuses was John Simone the original service person was on leave and that's why nobody returned my call. Inexcusable. If a service person is out, a reputable company would engage a substitute service person.
This elliptical was the most expensive purchase I made in 2016 as a gift for my wife. She used the machine hardly 2 months before the motor failed. Now, the machine sits there useless. At this point with all the issues I’ve experienced, I’m requesting Yowza refund my money. I am very disappointed with the Yowza machine and the Yowza company. Hoping posting this review will help Yowza to respond. Since they don't respond to emails or return phone calls.

I have only had my Sanibel i35 for four days, so it really hasn't had enough use to determine its durability. However, given that limited time, I think I can give some impressions of the company and its products.
1) My initial contact with the company was on the telephone with Ashley Hall. He is extremely personable and a great salesman. Of course, he has a great product to sell, so his job isn't as difficult as some others might be. He did, however, give me the feeling that if any problems arose that he would be available to help resolve them. Having dealt briefly with Nordic Track in the process of attempting the purchase of one of their machines, I found Ashley and the entire experience of dealing with YowzaFitness much more enjoyable.
2) The machine itself. Shipping was, as Ashley promised, very quick. I ordered it on Friday. It left on Monday. The delivery was slower than I anticipated, but that wasn't Yowza's problem, and it got here about two weeks after shipping. The delivery person was great. We manhandled the box onto my deck and I managed to drag it into the room in which it would be set up. Assembling took longer than Ashley said it would, but that is understandable since having never seen the machine before, I had think my way through a lot of steps that someone familiar with the machine would have simply zipped through. Everything fit as it should. Instructions were quite adequate with the exception of which screws went where in the undercarriage covers. I discussed this with one of Yowza's tech people ane he told me that they were aware of that problem and were working on simplifying that process. In any case, it wasn't a big deal. It was certainly not an unreasonable mission to assemble the machine and, in the end, it looked damned good and functioned flawlessly.
One thing that i found different than advertised is the iPod dock. There is no dock, just a USB port and a RCA Jack with a wire supplied to connect to the iPod earphone jack. This isn't a problem since I know that currently there are two forms that iPods or iPhones come in, the 16 pin and the lightning jack. The system I received would be the easiest way to deal with that. A fitting was also supplied which works well for holding a iPad or, in my case, my iPhone which I use in conjunction with my heart rate monitor. My HRM is BlueTooth/ANT+ and doesn't work with the HR system in the machine itself. That requires a Polar unit sold by Yowza and common to a lot of the fitness machines. Again, no problem.
3) How does it work? Well, I have used it three times over the last three days. I never used an elliptical before, so it took a little bit of getting used to. I have had a treadmill for years. While a treadmill is mostly a walking exerciser, the elliptical has much more in common with running or jogging. There is a nice rhythm to it, and it does get you cardio working a lot more efficiently than a treadmill. The first couple of times I used it I limited myself to 15 minute sessions. This morning I increased that to 30 minutes. It felt great. It is smooth and quiet. The fan provides a nice effect, and the speakers are great. The display gives me what I need, speed and time. I really like it. I can see why ellipticals have become the mainstay of most fitness gyms, and the Yowza seems to be as good as anyone would want.
4) other: i spoke to John in tech support the other day to get some info on how to use the computer since the instruction booklet is a little vague. He, like Ashley, was quite personable, very honest, and very helpful. He assured me that if I had any further problems or questions that I should give him a call. My whole experience with Yowza Fitness has been very positive and I have problems understanding the negative reviews I have read. It seems as though people relied on email rather than calling the company directly and talking to someone. The latter choice is the simpliest way to get the issue resolved quickly satisfactorily.

After a mistake on my part in assembling the Sanibel i35, I spoke with customer service on several occasions. They were extremely patient and helpful with an overall goal of making my elliptical operable. Customer Service sent a Tech over to fix the problem. The folks in customer service take great pride in their product and follow through with assistance. Extremely impressed.
Initial thoughts on the product with just two uses has been excellent. Would definitely recommend Yowza Fitness to others as they trust in their product!

I had been shopping for treadmills for a few months. Finally, I settled on the Yowza Sebring. I called Yowza directly and submitted the order. The call took just a few minutes and I received the confirmation email by the time I got off the phone. It couldn't have been easier. The treadmill was shipped and delivered within the timeframe stated. The delivery (room of choice) was flawless. I am very happy with Yowza.

Before purchase, customer service was quite helpful. After purchase, treadmill starting giving electric shock. At first request to support, nobody contacted me. I ended up on "chat" and someone eventually contacted me about the problem (apparently the person in charge of responding to support tickets was out of town for a week???). Then they contacted a fitness equip company that doesn't even serve my state. By the time someone finally arrived, they had no idea what was wrong with the treadmill. They had never worked on a Yowza before. Tech came back several times, with no result. Yowza sent a replacement motor (but the 1st one they sent was the wrong motor). We have no idea if this fixed the problem because the tech never re-attached the heart rate monitor which is where we assumed the electric shock was coming from since it was in the handles. Screws were left out of the console and the belt is WAY off track since the last visit by the tech. I emailed Yowza support and there was NO RESPONSE. Obviously this treadmill is a lemon and they should have just replaced it after several "attempts" to fix it. On the other hand, if you read their "warranty" (yes, I put that in quotes on purpose), it says if they replace equipment, you no longer have a warranty. One might assume they'll just send you another lemon at this point. It's unfortunate because we bought it based on reviews of their warranty and customer support....never again.

I ordered the Osprey treadmill online and got confirmation immediately. It arrived quickly - strapped to a pallet and off loaded with a small forklift. I knew then that it was going to be harder to get it set up than the person on chat had said. My husband and I struggled to move it across a porch and into the house - truly, it was heavy and unwieldily. The customer service rep said it "was the easiest of the treadmills to assemble and takes literally 5 minutes." It took me 5 minutes to open the blister pack with the tools and nuts and bolts. Then it took my husband and I about 45 minutes to assemble. The bolts would not go into the holes correctly and it took a lot of jiggling to get them to work. BUT, it's all set up and I really like it a lot. That's why I gave Yowza Fitness 5 stars out of 5. Easy to use and a perfect size. Not as easy to fold up and move - you have to give it a mighty lift to get it started folding up. And rolling it around is not quite as easy as I imagined. But it's a quality product at a good price. I hope to get a lot of use out of it.

Everyone I spoke with on the phone and via live chat online at Yowza was friendly and helpful.
However, the delivery sub-contractor (Estes) was probably the worst experience I have ever had - the tracking was confusing, the customer service on the phone didn't seem to coordinate from one representative to another, they had agreed to the Yowza representative that they would deliver inside the home and then at the pre-delivery phone call they denied agreeing to that. They said they only deliver to the driveway/curb and it would be "at the discretion of the driver" if they would deliver in the home. They said the driver would call me 30 minutes before my delivery and tell me if they would or would not deliver inside the home at their discretion. How I was supposed to move a 200 lb piece of equipment into my home was clearly not their problem.
Fortunately the Yowza representative intervened at my request and coordinated an inside delivery. The Estes driver did not arrive in the 4 hour window and I had to call them 30 minutes after the scheduled window to see if they were still coming. When he finally arrived, the box looked as if it had been through a hurricane. (Fortunately the interior contents were not damaged once it was unpacked later).
I had a call from the assembly company (different than Estes) to schedule the assembly and they also did not show in their 4 hour window. I once again escalated to Yowza and they tried to reach the sub-contractor without success. They continued to try to reach them on my behalf. Finally, the sub-contractor called me back and said he was told "a couple of hours ago" that my equipment was not at the warehouse. He apologized profusely when I told him it wasn't at the warehouse because it was on the main landing in my house! They rescheduled the assembly for the following day and they did arrive on time for that.
I was somewhat dismayed that the assemblers were watching videos about how to assemble the equipment. I would have thought for what I paid in "professional" delivery and assembly that they would have been familiar with the installation.
Overall, I am happy with the customer service I received from the Yowza team and I am happy with the elliptical. I would hesitate to order from Yowza again unless I was able to use a more professional delivery and installation company.

I had no problem ordering the treadmill on line. The experience was okay, but felt I had to probe to get answers to my questions. However, the treadmill arrived and I opened the box. There was a loose screw and washer in the box. I put it together and tried it out. Having owned a treadmill for many years, I know about incline. The first thing I noticed was that the incline actually inclined very little. An incline of 12 felt like an incline of 4. The 2nd thing I noticed was that the pulse would climb initially but go down to 110 and basically stay there no matter how hard I worked out. I was disappointed with the 2 main features.
I called Yowza and was transferred to "Joe" who did not believe what I was saying. He asked me to take a picture of the machine inclined to 12, which I did. He said he "compared my picture to a Sebring treadmill on the showroom floor and they were the same. There was nothing wrong with the incline." I totally disagreed. I asked him to please look at other treadmills and to ask someone else if indeed the incline -- inclined very little. He said he would take pictures, send them to me along with a list of name of technicians that I could call (I was willing to pay for them myself) and he would send me an RMA number if I wanted to send the treadmill back. This was Thursday. I did not hear from him so I called him on Monday/Tuesday and he said he forgot. When I called back I told him the heart monitor did not work and he said well you didn't tell me about that. I said you didn't give me the chance to. He sent me an email where he ordered a replacement part and I have not heard anything since.
In summary, I am kicking myself because I brought a treadmill online because of the reviews. I will never ever buy a treadmill again without actually testing it out. I never would have purchased this because of the lack of incline and having to enter my weight and cycle through before I can select a program. I am truly disappointed and definitely feel as though I wasted my money. My daughter threw out the packaging so I am stuck with a treadmill that I am truly disappointed with.

The following is a brief description of my experiences, spanning several months, with purchasing a Yowza elliptical. Based on positive reviews of the product and especially reviews of their customer service, I purchased a Yowza Fitness Jupiter Plus. Unfortunately, I had problems with it from the first—a nonfunctioning electrical component and an irritating “bump” or slippage in the ride. Neither technicians at Yowza, aided w/ video that I took, nor technicians hired by Yowza who came to my house (I live in a small town, not a major metropolitan area.) could definitively diagnose and fix the problems. After some back and forth, Ashley, at Yowza, offered to exchange the problematic Jupiter Plus with a Navarre Plus, with my paying a one-way shipping for the new elliptical and they bearing the rest of the costs. I thought this was a fair exchange as it balanced my disappointment and significant time wasted over repair and shipping hassles against the Navarre plus being a better quality machine. The Navarre Plus arrived, and it took about 3 hours to assemble, about the same as the Jupiter Plus did. Later, the Jupiter Plus was disassembled and boxed by a 3rd party technician hired by Yowza. A week or so later, a shipping company (again, hired by Yowza) came and took the disassembled, boxed Jupiter Plus away.
Now, after several months of using the Navarre Plus, here’s how I feel about my Yowza purchase(s). The first product I purchased was a disappointment, no way to sugar coat that. But customer service at Yowza (i.e., Ashley and John) was great—they stood behind their product, replied to questions or concerns quickly, and I always had the sense that a satisfied customer was their goal. Third, after several months of using it, I believe that the Navarre Plus is a solid workout machine—stable, smooth, with a very wide range of stride and resistance adjustments (I haven’t gotten into the bells and whistles of different workout programs, use mostly manual adjustments). Finally, apart from the problematic Jupiter Plus, most of the problems I experienced were related to coordinating and communicating with third party folks—technicians and shipping companies hired by Yowza. These 3rd party arrangements can get pretty confusing and, from my perspective, are a greater source of problems than the equipment or the people at Yowza.
I hope this review has been helpful.

I did a lot of research on the many different residential treadmills on the market and one of the main reasons I ultimately chose Yowza Fitness is because of all the consumer reviews I read saying what great customer service Yowza offered. Great customer service is BIG for me. Beyond my initial order, I've not had any interaction with the team at Yowza (which is probably a good thing). Jason at Yowza was very responsive to my initial order and placed my order quickly. The treadmill came when he said it would, it was set up great and although it's only been 2 weeks, my Boca has been operating perfectly so I've had no reason to contact Yowza.

When I purchased my elliptical I was hoping to have a machine that would be reliable. Over time it has proven to be anything but reliable. It started with a loud noise centered around the swing arms. Yowza sent some grease which temporarily ended the noise. Then the left side foot pedal came loose. Then the fan quit working. Then a clanking noise that seems to be coming from the rear drive of the machine started. Lastly, the swing arm gears cracked. The elliptical seems to be a solidly built machine, but these issues in my case prove otherwise

My Sebring treadmill started making loud and very annoying squealing noises long before my first year of ownership had passed. I contacted Yowza Fitness and they essentially had me do their work for them. I was instructed to partially disassemble the treadmill and make a video that focused on where I thought the noise was coming from. After several email exchanges, they sent me a replacement bearing/belt tension-er arm assembling that turned out to be the incorrect part for my treadmill. I then had to disassemble what they sent me and use only the new bearings in my original tension-er arm. All was quiet until recently when I was running on my treadmill. The squealing noise is back! Poor belt tension-er design? Poor quality bearings? Who knows... but what I do know is that Yowza Fitness's in-house warranty that they so proudly advertise is essentially worthless!!! The warranty is one of the main reasons I bought a Yowza Fitness treadmill in the first place. Never again! New buyers beware!!!
