This company out of Passaic NJ coordinates with Expedia Van Lines to move interstate household goods and will use the contract term "binding estimate" to imply you will not be charged additional moving costs. This will make the contract appear to be cheaper than competitors, when in fact it allows them to renegotiate the price to a much higher (in my case, approx. $3k more than the $7.2k original estimated after your goods are 50 to 75% loaded on their truck. This is basically holding your household goods hostage, in my opinion. Damages from not packing sensitive items properly such as 'classic' electronics as well as not covering certain items of furniture were also incurred. Expect jewelry items to go missing if you leave them accidentally in dresser drawers (have empty HS and college class ring containers as proof), since all drawers in dressers were emptied into boxes (instead of keeping clothes in dressers when shipped). Emptying all dresser drawers also allows them to pad the volume of the shipment. Instead of using weight as a shipping cost estimator, this company uses volume.

Just worked with this company on a large family move across the country. I will post additional comments on this and other sites about how the following issue is resolved...their moving truck destroyed a neighbor's driveway pillar as it was maneuvering to leave our neighborhood. The company has not yet accepted responsibility for this damage, even though it is clearly caused by the moving trailer (impact area is 4 feet off the ground, and I saw the truck backing up at exactly that location as it was leaving. It was nighttime and dark.
Look for another post in a day or so about this issue was resolved.
