for the second time i have been standing outside my door on the pavement in full view and have seen the sad faced driver pass by in a scruffy van... this almost happened a third time but i stood in the road slowing traffic down and this time i got my delivery ...i believe this is because you have my address as the last or third last on the days delivery punishing schedule...i am going to leave a scathing review with the parcel sender for choosing your dreadful delivery company...it is virtually impossible to contact you about this as always please try later message is on screen....but on the bright side i did message someone who worked in another country call centre and was told that they had a 24 hour delay before passing on messages.... a shocking state of affairs

Worst company ever. The driver signed for my parcel himself then left it on my doorstep. I contacted customer help as I was on holiday and the driver told them it was ‘left in reception’.

My parcel was supposedly delivered today 7/11 at 12.28 at that time we were my husband and I getting ready for our lunch, no one came, no one rang the bell, and certainly no parcel was left in a secure location ie front porch we do not have as our main door is directly on the pavement !!! I said supposedly because at the time we were not aware of this, it is when we received an email to let us know it was delivered, we started to enquire, we call them and an investigation is taking place but strangely I am now receiving 3 phone calls for 3 other customers from Yodel, is that what the BBC called Yodel learnt from their mistakes!!! I am now missing a parcel that I needed urgently by tomorrow to finish a project for my 5 years old granddaughter that I have let down because of Yodel unprofessional staff

Couldn't find a vet practise in Barnsley to deliver a parcel despite us having 1000's of customers!! Very poor service. Order was cancelled so didn't get my product!

The worst delivery company I ever came across. I am still waiting for a parcel that was supposed to be delivered two weeks ago. I have spent 3 entire day inside the house waiting for their delivery an all three times the parcel didn’t even leave the depot. It’s impossible to get through their customer service and speak to a human. The phone is being hanged up on me with no valuable information given. Will never buy anything from any company who uses them! Absolutely disgusting “service”.....

I received two emails and a text saying they would come today between 11am and 1pm. I then received messages saying they had been to the house and tried to deliver my package. They also stated they had left a calling card. They hadn't been near my flat and there was no card. I tried to use the webchat and nobody answered despite leaving it on for ages. I called and the agent lied to me and said they had tried to deliver it. I know she lied to me because when I pushed her she got flustered and said that what had actually happened was that the delivery driver's GPS was broken and so he couldn't find the place so just didn't bother. They must have sent me 5 or 6 emails and a couple of texts, they obviously are able to contact me, but just thought they'd lie instead. Apparently it is "Guaranteed" to come tomorrow, but they can't give me a rough time. I'll hold my breath shall I? :)

Twice I've had an item delivered by Yodel and twice there were problems. The first time I left a note on my letterbox saying NOT to deliver to house number 1, that my address was The Studio ADJACENT to 1. They are separate buildings. The courier saw the note but still delivered next door saying my letterbox was locked. It has a lid on it, he needed to lift it. The second time I never received the item at all despite them claiming it has been delivered. I have contacted them twice about it now, to discover where they delivered it to, my neighbour at 1 is saying they don't have it, but Yodel do not contact me back as promised. It was only a cheap item but vital as it is stopping me from carrying out an electronic repair. I waited several weeks for it, and still do not have it. I've probably spent as much money on phone calls as I have on the item, but Yodel really are not at all helpful. I cannot purchase from any company that deals with Yodel as the chances of me getting the item are slim.

A joke of a company. They had clear instructions to leave the parcel with my neighbour but they didn't. Then they said they had three delivery attemps and that i had to pick up my parcel form their depot which is 2 hours of commute. Customer service said that it will be ok to reattempt and deliver on a Saturday but guess what, they came on a Thursday and noone was at home (cause some of us indeed WORK). Ridiculous company with ridiculous customer service

After reading reviews I was a bit apprehensive about receiving my parcel on time, but I have to say Yodel were spot on, arrived exactly on time. Communication with Dean the delivery driver was excellent, absolutely no problems.

Driver claimed not to be able to find my address 3 times! Webchat advised me to call the driver myself, which I did, and I texted, with instructions. Messages were ignored and the parcel went to the depot. Round trip of just under an hour yesterday to the depot, in a downpour. This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened with Yodel. In future I will not order from companies who use Yodel. Chance of getting your parcel delivered is only about 50/50 I reckon. It amazes me the company is still in business!

Absolutely incompetent. Driver lied 3 times about having attempted to deliver the parcel and just put a calling card through the door instead. (On one occassion I watched him as he did this). Driver never answered phone, replied to voicemail or SMS. Customer services said they would ask him to redeliver, he never did. Now I have to go to collect the parcel from a depot 40 minutes drive away. Absolute joke. Yodel apologised but said there was nothing they could do. They are an absolute waste of time.

Yet again, I have been let down by Yodel. If I knew my order was delivered by them, I would not have placed the order. It seems that delivering something to you seems to be an issue if: You are not at home, or There is a buzzer system, or Your address is not super easy to find, or There is no free parking place right outside your door, or The driver is tired or just simply can't be bothered. No calling card left, but they claim they attempted 3 times, at least on one of which I was home all day. No message about the attempt to deliver, unless you check it on their site, no notification, email, text, nothing. You can't change the delivery date unless the sender paid for extra services, and even if you specifically tell them that you are not at home and they should not attempt, they still do and it counts as one of our 3 delivery attempts, after which the parcel is sent back to the sender. I had over 10 parcels delivered from them, I can recall 2 or 3 that went smooth.

Yodel as a company clearly do not fully understand how to provide excellent customer service. They employ incompetent people, those who seem unable to read an address or to follow their own sat nav which was clearly indicating my area and address. In addition Yodel staff (from my experiences) make untrue statements on the tracking records, in my case these have included: that Iwas not in, that a card had been left in my mail box, that they had delivered the item, that I had signed for goods. All the aforementioned completely untrue. I had ordered goods from two completely separate companies who unfortunately for me were both using Yodel to deliver these items. I had stayed at home over these delivery periods and at no time was there any attempt to ring my intercom system and nothing was left in my mail box. I have spent the last 4 days trying to sort this mess and to obtain refunds for goods that have not been received. In addition ringing these companies presents another set of challenges and have realised to my cost have had to use premium numbers and got a nasty shock with my phone bill. The whole experience has been a very stressful nightmare, still haven't had my money refunded and am out of pocket let. Won't be ordering from any company using Yodel fo deliver ever again. I can hardly believe they are still trading and those companies using Yodel need to also improve on their customer service. Appalling service.

They didn't even ring or knock to let me know they were here and now are saying I have to go collect the parcel from a depo that is over an hour away on public transport. Absolutely dreadful. Tried speaking to a manager and I have to wait 24 hours for no good reason. So not only have I wasted my time, but I have also wasted the customs fees I paid to release the package. They send me an e-mail they delivered my order to my address, but I can't find it here. Even my neighbours don't know where my order is. I spoke with someone from customer service and they told me that parcel have been deliver to Patrik. I don't know who is this guy. They don't know where he live. They can't even answer why they leave my parcel to someone. I didn't want my package to be delivered to a neighbor or someone else. But ok, If you leave it somewhere you should left me any information where I can look for my parcel but you didn't. After 3 weeks of waiting and contact with them, they sent me back to the sender to clarify the matter. It's ridiculous. They did nothing themselves, they kept repeating the same words that they are very sorry, they apologize and this will not happen again.

Waste of time, Chain Reaction Cycles use these muppets now, last ever time I buy from them. Newton Abbot depot are p!ss poor to be kind. If I knew CRC were using them I'd never would of ordered from them. Told the live chat that a 32 mile round trip to collect from my local depot, DPD is only a 2 mile round trip from here. Cheap vendors trying to save money. Wont get a refund untill they send it back, keeps getting updated every day around 0550hrs saying its ready to collect. Sick of this company more than Brexit and ER...........

Driver said he delivered parcel, left in porch. Rubbish I was at home in the day of the supposed delivery as I have a broken foot. He never rang the door bell left a card or anything else for that matter. I will not use any online firm that use Yodel in the future. Their drivers are useless. Hermes knocks spots off them

Driver insisted he posted a parcel through my letterbox. He did not and the parcel was too big to fit. Customer service is useless and just repeat themselves. I would never knowingly use Yodel.
