I remember hearing about this company on the news, USA Today I believe. Lost my keys more times than I can shake a stick at so the idea of a little beacon to help me keep from losing them sounded like a great idea!

Love this thing! I frequently lose my keys and I use the finder to locate them across the house, in my office, or even just in my massive handbag! This is honestly a life saver and I can't count the number of times it has saved me from being late because it found my keys... immediately. Highly recommended and I plan on buying more for my husband and teenager.

Patience - It may help if you understood the technology used by XY Find It. No, it doesn’t use GPS, and yes it does use Bluetooth but, not to communicate with you (unless you are quite close to a device), but to communicate with other likewise devices it may come into range of on its travels. Once the owner of one of these other devices makes an enquiry of their device via the app the information collected from other devices it may have encountered will be uploaded. Then when you enquire about a missing device the system will tell you the last location recorded for your device. It is therefore possible to track items around the world. The system is relatively new, so interactions between devices will be small, but once the network grows tracking your items around your area, town, city, country, continent & world will be a breeze. I would think that many couriers, transport and that type of company will soon be using this system. Also, in order to increase the activity of interactions taking place there are folks out there actively seeking non verified interactions.

This company created hardware and services that never actually worked. And they're still trying to pass this service off as functional and valuable in the crypto space. Personally, I'd avoid XYanything.
I purchased an XYgps directly from xyfindit.com in Feb 2018. I could never get it to ping more than just a few times, whether it was in the open, under glass, plastic, or cloth. My request for assistance went unanswered, so I went to other sources for help. The problem was that nearly EVERYBODY was having the same issues. Whether it was their software, network, or hardware, their service never worked as promised. I tried several times, over a span of months. I eventually gave up and hoped that they'd get the service up and running at some point. That never happened.
Though I originally purchased 6 months of service with my XY device, at some point they upgraded that to a "Lifetime" plan (I figured that was because their service never actually worked). Looking now, it seems that my plan and device were completely erased from my account, with no history of ever existing - it's all just gone. That says a lot about their "customer service".
A couple weeks ago, an XY Findit employee responded to my review here and offered to "make things right". Within a couple days though, that employee pulled their response, abandoned their offer to make things right, and reported my review as violating the Trustpilot TOS. Is this indicative of good service and a trustworthy company?
Part of the point of my original review was that there never was any "customer service". I ordered a non-functioning product, reached out for support, and never got a response.
After my review was pulled, I once again reached out to XY Findit, asking if they still intended to "make things right". Interestingly, I received a response halfway through my update of this review. They now want my order information.
XYO, a pivot platform to fund their "service" with a crypto-token centered around this concept of geomining on the XY network (having people place XY trackers, or "sentinels", in boxes they ship or just wander around and provide geolocation information to get token credits). If these sentinels are using the same proximity-location or GPS/SMS technology that my XY tracker used, good luck to them in remaining relevant. Miners will quickly
XY is good at creating Hype - like this ESRI "partnership". Yeah, my team uses ESRI products - we've done that too. We pay for ESRI online services, we create data layers and sometimes make them available to other ESRI customers. I guess that's a partnership)
XY has not delivered on any of their promises to me. They ignored my request for help. They offered to "make things right", then rescinded that offer and instead pushed to have my negative review of their product/service/company pulled. To top it all off, they erased my subscription information.
No. I can't recommend them as a trustworthy company.

They are cheap because they don't work. I have complained to the company on two other occasions and I have had no response from them.

This works but my phone does not beep, I have to walk around the house watching bars on the app. I have used it to find keys.

Initial XY Find It unit worked for about a week. Contacted customer service and after trying everything they suggested, they sent me a replacement battery. I replaced the battery and....it worked for roughly a week, again. I contacted customer service and they wanted me to go through the whole rigamaroll again. I tossed my unit in the trash and vowed to purchase a more reputable brand, instead.

I'm so impressed with XY Find it. I purchased multiple sets as Christmas gifts. Everyone very satisfied. one of my orders probably went to the wrong mailbox. when I emailed the co. they sent a replacement right away. I was pleasantly surprised at their impeccable customer service. A company you can trust. that in itself speaks volumes. Best wishes as your company grows.

XY Find It is awesome! I love my unit but, I was having an issue getting the unit to work after having it for a little while so, I contacted them and right away they sent me 3 new batteries and told me to try replacing the battery and told me if they did not work to let them know. I tried them and it still did not work so, Belza gave me a few things to try and voila...it is working great again! I am very grateful too because, a couple days after I was able to get it to work again, my boyfriend mistakenly put my keys in his van and I was able to locate them right away! Thank you XY Find It for an EXCELLENT product and EXCELLENT customer service!!

Works good. Only down fall is the battery life. It would be nice if it lasted longer or alerted you when to change out the battery.

Love the concept and it seems to work (though I haven't had to use it yet) but wish it were smaller.

The only reason I'm giving four stars is because of the original glitch in the first place, but it may be my user error anyway so five might be correct. The main thing is that in this world of getting a product with zero customer support, XY makes you feel like you're their only customer and they want to make you happy (hopefully, they have many more customers though.) Anyway, the chat experience with Belza was ridiculously pleasant and I am totally sold on this product. I prefer them to Tiles because Tiles must be replaced every year instead of changing a battery. XY seems like a much smarter product. I'm a total a fan now, mainly because of such immediate and superb customer service.

I received my XY and the battery was dead. I contacted the company to receive a new battery and never received a message back. Never even got to use the product
