Worst experience ever
I bought a head unit for my along with a reversing camera and a few other bits. The unit took over 2 weeks to be delivered even though I was constantly reassured it would turn up the next day. When I finally received the unit and had it fitted the unit was extremely poor quality, made a funny noise and it picked and chose when it wanted to work. After emailing xtrons many times they finally gave me a returns label. I took the parcel to be returned to be told that the returns label was invalid so I emailed xtrons again and got a different returns label and went to a different UPS point and finally got rid of it (or so I thought). Today the parcel turned back up on my door step, I have no idea why and xtrons are not replying.
Update:
Xtrons have received my return back (after attempting to return it 3 times) and have no blocked me off their Facebook page so I am unable to contact them, I have emailed but I am yet to receive a reply. I now have no product and no refund. Please do not shop with this company

They will not warranty their products. Once you pay for it, you are on your own. Correspondence is great till you want to claim warranty. Then they fall off the face of the earth. They claimed that the unit never fails. I bought 2 units from them. 1 works and the other will not shut off and keeps draining my battery. Also, SRS light stays on when unit is connected.

I returned one unit under warranty in early December andI got it on February 1st. Now I have to get the discount which I was promised on the replacement and the return of my GPS Card. Possibly the shabbiest Customer Service in the world.

My experience with a set of headrests in the car(HD198THD).
The idea of solving the source of fun for the rear seat occupants by mounting the monitor or DVD player into the headrest is certainly basically good. However, there are certain criteria that should be met
• Head restraints are an important element of passive safety in the car. Their main task is to prevent backward movement of the head in the back - especially for rear impact. This results in serious injuries to the cervical spine - distorse but also luxation - which can result in paralysis of all 4 limbs !! Modern wagons feature so-called active backrests that, in the event of a collision, come forward with a mechanical device located in the seat to pull the headrest forward. This device is part of a support. If the electronic device with a head restraint is to be installed - in addition to the functioning electronics - this safety element should also function - the safety device described above should remain functional.
• The described xtrons headrest have definitely functional electronics - their implementation has serious drawbacks. Fixing the seat backrest requires removal of the original support and therefore requires the dismantling of the active support mechanism (bowden + trigger mechanism in the event of a collision). The securely restraint support is replaced by a backrest with a controversial safety.
• The metal bars to be screwed into the support are very thin, brittle and of inappropriate material. In my case there was a technically bad cut of the thread on the tube so that the contact with the thread was not fully secured - the rod simply did not screw it and it could be freely inserted through the thread. I faced the problem - letting things somewhere welded or sticking with glue. Or complain or throw away the whole device. As I found out after dismantling, the second part where the stick was to be mounted is bolted with several screws in plastic! It is obvious that the whole attachment mechanism is fragile, insufficiently rigid to be used as a safety barrier in the car! It is inappropriately designed. In the event of a crash in the car, it will certainly not last and will break with a support! See pictures and video.
• For the above reasons, I did not even install the DVD player and I am dealing with a claim - or rather a refund. As for the player's function - there certainly is no problem. I just miss an explanation of what a supplied green cable called the FM transmitter cable is. Above all, it is not clear from the instructions how to be connected !!!
• Described structural problems are not obviously a problem with just xtrons. All similar devices originating from China, Hongkong are apparently constructed the same way
Overall, I am forced to say disappointment. Similar devices are probably nice, apparently well functioning, but in my opinion they do not meet the criteria for use in the car.

No refund on shippingcosts
Ordered a headunit for my car with DAB+ module and cable.
On delivery I missed the DAB unit, had to be resend. Then I ordered an optional 4G wifi dongle, which failed to work. I had to send it back on my expense €13,- the send me another but that one also didn't work. in order to get a refund I had to send it back - another € 13, - . They say that they do not refund shipping costs, which is ridiculous since they have send me non working items. That is not acceptable and I expect them to fully refund me €26,- (the dongle was around €50,-).

Harness connector came broken so i had to pay for repair as i had no time for return. The guy i was dealing with is an idiot and do not want to take any responsibility also he is giving no full proper information before the purchase. Bluetooth phone calls connection is disconnecting every time after about 11minutes and there is no help through the manufacturer forum. Otherwise unit is nice.

I bought a PF7153BS Driving Entertainment Unit from eBay seller 'xtrons-au'. First of all I clearly asked if this units fits a direct replacement to the original (as it is advertised) and I got a reply saying
"Your car model type should be suitable it is not difficult to do the setting of the unit
You need to compare the details like dimension information and details function before your purchase by yourself"
OK all the dimensions I could check like that seemed fine it seemed to be able to really fit in there. However once I received the unit I realized that it does not fit in a way that i could not have predicted and this meant the entire bracket for the old unit had to be cut off. I told him the only reason i bought this is so I can later return the original back in the car well that was not an option anymore since the guy installing it for me had already gone through and i had now way of returning this and have already spent more money for installation which was not meant to be according to the seller and also the guy that installed it for me hated me because this thing was such pain to install and the brackets it came with for installation are so week made of a thing metal which feels like jelly couldn't even make proper mounting brackets .
To top it off THE SCREEN is basically invisible during the day even on max light and makes it so damn difficult to operate the unit....
then the bloody thing has MESSED UP SOFTWARE, where u cant set up the clock, has very limited options AND every time I start the car the it chooses a random source to play from and it never returns back to what i was listening to before whether it was radio SD or DVD it always goes to something,
then there is the AMP TRIGGER... I thought my damn amplifier was dead until i checked the voltage on the AMP trigger wire and doesn't matter if its ON or OFF in the setting it never gets 12V on the line to activate the AMP
AFTER ALL THIS I try to contact the seller and ask for a partial refund based on the facts that I was lied to and the quality does not match the way it was advertised nor does it match the price of $350 i paid for it... I also made it clear that the Item cannot be returned since I have already paid extra money to get it installed and I have no option of returning the original back in the car which also makes me so damn angry... My requests got refused and i was asked multiple times to send the item back in its original condition to get a refund after clearly saying that this thing is stuck to my car and i cant get rid of it now and i am furious about it

I'm having a bad time with the xtron TD696ADS car stereo I've got six months ago from new. I had to disconnect it from the car because I had problems with it connected. Definitely engine management light comes on and the steering wheel remote does not work. I have bought quite a few adaptors and still does not work. Now it's in the box doing nothing. I have just ordered the ICE/ACS/12-226 it's over a week now and still waiting for the lead could you help or recommend me to someone that could help me get the stereo up and running into my Peugeot 3008 thank you Hubert Fernandes

I initially received the device in good fashion speedy delivery, was very impressed with the product looked fantastic. Then things started to go wrong after a couple of days radio stations were not locking when I turned the machine off and would have to search for certain ones not all some were where they should be then my machine froze, we downloaded a so called firm ware file from tech support which actually changed my receiver from DAB to FM/AM only which defeated the object of the excercise.
I then sent the machine back and received a replacement, this one worked initially but still had the problem of the stations failing to remain in memory.
I put up with this for about 4 weeks then all of a sudden it decided it didn,t want to be a radio anymore. Everything else worked apart from my DAB radio.
I sent this one back and they replaced it too.
The Third one has just been fitted and my touch screen has now failed so I,m peed off.

I bought a new head unit which had gps, DAB ect ect. When this was first installed the DAB did not work at all and the FM radio kept cutting out, so i contacted support (email) and eventually replied to say they will send me a new antenna and indeed i received a new antenna and was fitted to my car. At first it seemed to work and find stations but after a few minutes the signal kept dropping, you tryand change stations and it show as 1 station but plays another stations music also when we try and play blutooth muisc from the phone it still! plays the radio instead. I have asked on sevral accossations for help as this issue has been going on from the start.
I spent £600 with these guys among other accessories and now they just tell me sorry it doesnt work but oh well!!!!!! it is very frustrating they have a uk service centre yet all support goes to HK which leads me to think they dont actually have any support i the uk and are taking peoples money and fobbing them off there equipment doesnt work!!!
I will be contacting trading standards as this is disgracful!!!!!!
Not sure how i respond to your reply sorry and it wont allow me to add an email here either. Please can you tell me what i need to do?

I brought this item one month ago and I don't recommend any one to buy it or buy from XTRONS, company is very bad and Support is useless, they just take your money and runaway.
1. Radio is not working as expected. Channels interference and it move between channels with out touching the screen.
2. Radio stations are not saved and sometimes you have to rescan again to fix the issue.
3. Screen move between applications with out touching it, it close and open other application with out your interactions.
4. Bluetooth disconnected with no reason.
5. The unit is very slow.
I contacted XTRONS Support and they send me one update file which does not work.
I go to their website and download another update and again it doesn't fix my issues.
lose my money ,,
I recorded video shows the defective, please send me.
Finally, I don't recommend any one to buy from XTRONS.
Update: I contacted the support and they ignore me after I agreed to refund 30% of the unit price.
As I mentioned before they are very bad.

Bought kudos maps to my xtrons device and am very disappointed. The map doesn't show time of arrival and neither actual speed. It says that I am off-road when I am not. The map really sucks and I written to you but no answer. Had igo8 before that came with the device but maps from 2010. But that one is a thousands times better. It also says that I have arrived at my destination when it is probably 100meters from the actual destination. When I set my home address it says that I am home when I am two houses away. Is there any way I can use another software than kudos? Because I can't even use the gps because it is so bad. And the igo8 works perfect. I would like xtrons to atleast respond to my mail.
