I would avoid all costs, my review isn't based on 1 simple transaction, but a number of transactions (7) of which I only ever had 1 go through without a massive headache.
I made 2 transactions on the 7th - my bank called to confirm the legitimacy of the transactions and authorized them. No money was taken from my account by Xsolla. No email verifications were ever sent, no receipts.
8th - No money taken, contacted support, explained the lack of emails and asked what is going on with the payment, response received "This payment will take 2~3 days to process" (Why?), email back and forth, get the usual "can I have the payment receipt" "can you give me it??" etc... I ask them if it was a bank transfer, e-check or a credit payment, just to confirm were on the same page, all I get in response is "It was through InPay" (at this point, I didn't know what InPay was, it wasn't explained).
9th (Sunday) - no money taken, but hey, Sunday right, banks don't work properly on Sundays.
10th - No money taken, contact support, I have 3 transactions on their system, 2 of which they cancelled. Last 1 is pending - email support, no response. I was given the transaction ID for the pending transaction over LiveChat from a nice lady called Catherine. I can live with 1 transaction, so I try to find out what is going on.
11th - Response from Xsolla; contact InPay (why? Credit Card payment, I didn't use online banking or a transfer system?!). So I contact InPay, I spend the rest of the day talking to them who cannot find anything about the transaction ID I was provided with, sent back to Xsolla. At this point, I'm not even sure the transaction ID I've been provided with is the right one, as I get referred to as a 'SIR'.
As much as InPay were polite/helpful, their spelling is... lacking. Thought = fought?? Even still, hats off to InPay for actual customer support.
12th - Contacted Xsolla to find out what was going on, asked for a receipt - again, after being told since the 7th I never received one. At this point I'm getting really frustrated, is the money coming out of my account or what? So I tell them to ensure all transfers in my name are thusly cancelled.
13th - No response.
14th - Xsolla; contact InPay.
Stuck here with a pending payment I have no idea if it will ever come out, however I will be phoning by bank to block all Xsolla transactions. I have never had the pleasure of using such a frustrating and stressful payment system in my life - all for a simple 5 min transaction.
