PURE AND UTTER PATHETIC. i thought that the gaming consoles where suppsosed to get better? I also thougght that updates aided them...
after a year and half free from gaming i thought i would invest in the new modern warfare. Only to feelhugely ripped off.
I wasted a huge amount of my youth on this addictive pile of rubbish, a game that gave me nothing but serious attitude problem, why i have bought it again i have no idea.
Problems i now spend my time writing about, problems that led me to been a web deveoper so i could expose the rubbish we have to endure from the appauling platforms.
Addictive.... Xbox knows exactly this.
Regulating it for children not to play age specific games is somehting that this company still hasnt got to grips with.
They allow underage children to play over age games that clearly contribute to mental health issues.
Not just because of the games but because microsoft are just un proffesional.
i spent a hgue amount of time to get the anser to one question i had asked time and time again... why would a memeber of staff know the particulars of what was said on my inbox, in the conversation?
But yet persist to ban me... and then backtrack on themselves and ban me. Why do they allow people to buy software and hacks on their platform? why dont they do anything about it?
These simple things make microsoft and xbox a complete pile of rubbish.
to come back on in 2020 and see that the games are still lagging patheticlly and your still constantly kicked from games, yet nobody has done anything about it and you still want near £50 a game and whatever for the consoles... yeah right... money grabbing stooges.
There has been no improvements only patches. The computer is even worse than it was 2 yeasrs ago its beyond pathetic.

The Xbox One is a great console, I do love that people fight over which is better, the PS4 or the Xbox One when they both run off of AMD's Jaguar. The game variety for the Xbox is amazing, I can play anything I want (Except for VR, that'd be nice to have VR come to Xbox.) racing games, shooters, but not any games like the Hyperdimension Neptunia stuff, but that's fine! Modders can be annoying, but after a quick report, they're gone!

Xbox One variety: 4 out of 10 (What I mean by Console variety is different types of the same console, like the retro Xbox with like.. Crystal, Kasumi Chan, etc etc.)

Support quality: 8 out of 10
I own an Xbox One S and I'm very happy with it, it's helped me meet some of my best friends and it also helped me find out what the hell was wrong with me.

They suck. You need to download the game even when you have already paid for it. Than when the wifi goes out if it needs an update you cant play a game you have already paid for should say cannot use ever without internet

they say it is a uk contact centre but the call goes oversees to morocco and 3 times I tried to complian and game pass quests not giving me the points and 3 times they hung up on my its bad when u have to spell out your email address word by word cause the usless contact centre agents cant understand a word of English very poor indeed xbox

Terrible company to contact, and also ridiculous processes.
The company decided to change my account name on Xbox as this was deemed “offensive”, my account name was my surname and not offensive in the slightest, I originally had to pay to change it to this.
Once they change your name they give a randomised name which has came out with something ridiculous, now they are advising for me to change it to something I want I need to pay again.
tried to contact them as to why it had been done or advise that it was not offensive in the slightest and didn’t get anywhere!

Xbox gets a bad rap, between the games pass and profile sharing you get access to a huge amount of games.
Yes there are less exclusives but personally I'm not so bothered. I'm aware this is an issue for some people though so its just my opinion. Plus xbox have amended their refund policy now so you can refund a game you've played if you dont like it. There are limitations but either way its good.

I have been on the phone for a hour with Sophia and it was literally a simple fix. We went round and round in circles. All I wanted was to get the game pass ultimate for 3 months for a $1, well that turned into a mess and I did get the 3 months but for 15 bucks which is not what the promo says. I dont get the feeling they care. Just irritating.. Customer service is a thing of the past

In a nutshell absolute joke, when it comes to getting your money back from Xbox, nobody has a clue what the hell is going on, you have reference numbers for the sake of reference numbers all with the same status has the one before " there been escalated to higher level" what Bill Gates, joking apart we had £477 pound taken from us and has caused financial and mental stress with no light at the end of the tunnel, until they get there act together???

Long time happy customer. By reading the reviews from most people. They are either parents of people who use the service or childish people who logged on to say playstation was better and not an actual customer. And i for one have been an xbox user 10 years and a live user for 8. And in my time i have little to no problems. I even had a time a couple years back that i had an xbox gold trial back on the 360 days i activated it just before christmas and my account had an error that still wouldnt allow me to play online and i reported it to microsoft support and a generous man whos name i cannot remember gifted me a 3 month gold. So for you who say microsoft do not care i disagree. Keep up the good work and roll on Scarlett 2020.

I was using an account in a game and wanted to change my privacy settings. I went to the website and it redirected to a support article every time. I followed the steps in the article and the link leads back to the same article. I did this for about 15 minutes before contacting support in live chat. They told me it’s iOS and Safari’s fault so I downloaded Edge as they recommended. I tried again, same issue. They said download Edge (which I was using) to try again. I wasted another 30 minutes trying to just get the page to open with support. Then the site kept asking me to log in, which I already had done. It asked for a verification code which I never received. I was getting mad and contacted support about it. They told me check my account security settings. I followed the link they gave me, and was asked to log in again. Which I couldn’t do because the code didn’t work. Then support said I had to do it to get my code. At this point I was stuck unable to log in and with useless support people. I know one thing for sure, I’m NEVER using a Microsoft account, Windows phone, xbox, or Edge browser again.
I don’t appreciate them redirecting me to their products to “help solve” my solution either.
Why claim to support iOS when you clearly don’t?

Just bought an xbox one S and I'm stuck at the Sign in because for so god damn reason they cant help me with my old account. I love tried all there support numbers to talk to real people but they all just fub you off and send you a text to there crap support online thing that doesnt work, then it hangs up on you. With all 4 of those numbers and them telling me to stay on the line then they just hang up is fubed up.
They need to have a human fubing being to talk to. Someone that will actually understand what the fub I'm trying to do instead of having random numbers set up to waste your time and fub you off by hanging up.
Thanks a lot microsoft for being absolutely useless, I regret wasting my money on the garbage waste of time

Bought a very cheap dlc for a game. Dlc wont download and xbox customer service agreed there was an issue. However they refuse to refund and insist it is my responsibility to get it fixed by contacting the game publisher myself. They even insist that I find the publishers contact details myself via google (ironically not via Bing).
They are very anti consumer in how they handle purchases made with them. Basically you have no rights whatsoever even if they dont provide you with what you paid for. So avoid buying anything digitally from Microsoft or Xbox. Unfortunately I have spent hundreds of pounds with them and over a £2.49 dlc issue I now will think again before buying anything from them. Avoid the MS store.
EDIT: A customer service manager resolved this for me in the end. However should not have had to go through the hassle to begin with.

Xbox is now robbing people. We pay for a disc and then download the game. Yall think this is innovation. It actually the opposite. Waste a CD charge us for additional data. Multiplayer games horrible. 1 person per console on 90 percent of games. Bring 4 players back. I cant even have friends over. But on Nintendo you can. I guess I'll go with Nintendo from now on and tell my 1 million followers to join me. Here's a review for you. They even stop me from saying certain things here. Horrible

Xbox support is the absolute worst support for a million dollar company. It’s shocking how bad it is and such a disappointment, can’t even get help with things and contact somebody without waiting 3/4 days and have nothing helped in the end. Wish I could rate 0 stars for this terrible company that doesn’t care about customers.

You know this review I write about Xbox customer support service being the worst customer service I have ever dealt with isn’t going to effect Xbox. This review will not effect the money they have coming in but I need to vent about the experience I have had with this company. Xbox customer service representatives are not about helping the customers out. They are like talking to robots who are trained to say the same thing over and over. I pay bills out of one account and have enough money in this one account to cover all the bills. But when unexpected charges come from Xbox causing my rent check to be returned costing me a 50.00 dollar charge from my apartment complex and another 30.00 NSF from my bank, of course I am going to try to resolve this issue. I lost count on how many call backs it took for Xbox to reimburse me for the two unexpected charges, one customer service rep says those refunds will be processed in 3-5 days and another says I do not see those refunds being processed in the system. I also want to be refunded for the fees from my bank and my apartment complex. I can provide all supporting documents showing the fees deducted due to the unexpected charges from Xbox. What’s the issue with refunding all charges on both sides like this never happen. Oh yeah and the process we have to go through just to talk to customer service is a way to deter customers from working out the issues they are having. Oh yeah and when you get to talk to customer support and they say they are not online and will be back up in a couple hours and they will call you back when they are up, more ways for the customer to give up and forget about the issues with billing and payments. Oh yeah and when you want to talk to a manager and they say they are dealing with other calls and put you on hold, again more ways to make you want to hang up and forget about your issues. So I’m done venting, Xbox customer service is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, I’m canceling my subscription and going to PlayStation where we don’t have to pay for game play. Microsoft Xbox company I hope your business goes under and is beat out by PlayStation because you are not about your customers. Screw you Microsoft Xbox!!!!
