I have ordered a few things from Witt and always paid by card on line but the last time i made a order they put in a personal account which i did not want I always like to pay up front and could not understand why i owed £48.00 as everything is paid at the time of ordering.
How can they do that.I never owe anybody anything and have a good credit rating.NOT HAPPY. Do you think they will charge me interest?

I was asked by my elderly (87) Mother in law to unsubscribe her from this company’s mailing list, phone calls would have cost 13p per minute + my phone company charges, so I went on their chat page, I requested to unsubscribe my mother in law from their mailing list, and was told this was not possible as they would need to speak to the account holder, I explained to them that my mother in law (the account holder) was unable to respond to instructions, hence myself dealing with the Company instead of her.
Witt were adamant the account holder had to be spoken to.
Of all the other mailing companies I have contacted (10 so far) none have wished to speak to my mother in law as regards unsubscribing, Witt have been obstructive and not at all helpful.
I have had to press on one star I would not have even given Witt 1 star if I had the choice!!

After being a customer off Witt International for some time now my views on there service has taken a dive. After having to attend a funeral I decided to place an order for a pair of shoes to be turned down because of my credit file.
I can fully understand if my order went over my credit limit of £200 which would need a review. However my credit limit was £200 and I had £38 available at the time. I mean you would not expect to have a credit card with a £500 limit go to a shop and spend £200 on shopping then have it turned down at the till because of a credit search when you have £500 to spend. The last 5-6 months had been paid ok, more paid then the minimum. Totally Disgusted with Witt. Once I clear my balance I will be closing my accounts down and will not be using them ever again. Not even my Cash Account. So So Sad

We bought a we604sqwks to cook on, and what a piece of crap.
So much trouble with it.
Just had a person to check specs to make sure all was ok with how its been put into the desk.
And all ok and still it overheats and turns off.
Hard to see the turn on fingertouch and the touch for turning heat up and down has a bad response.
So sad we bought it.

Shame, I wrote a review for Witt a while ago about the delivery of my bedroom furniture which was quite frustrating. They contacted me and asked me to email them the details so they could look into it for me, which I did. But still no further reply, even though I emailed them again. Disappointed.

Dissapointed with Deliver, but Deliver Service Fault not Witt
I am a new customer and so far all good. I ordered 2 bedside tables and I had to wait a few days for delivery. I waited in on the day scheduled, but only one turned up. They said there was a problem with the tipping truck!, so I had to wait in again the next day. I do believe this to be the delivery service fault and not Witt, so I may increase this to 4 stars after my next order.

Lawks, they're quick! Have placed two orders in the past week, both were delivered next day, are exactly as described, are of a good quality and robust construction (as compared to ones I'd been looking at in High Street stores recently) and are true to size.
I think I'm going to rather like this company, they seem to stock fashion that is to my taste - at last, proper clothes for mature women that don't cross over into 'vicar's tea party' territory!

Very disappointed in supposed nightdresses which just looked like cheap pettivoats.To add insult to injury the supposed free postage return label was charged.Tried to talk on the Chat Support line but gave up waiting after 30 mins.This is my first order and last.

Fairly regular shopper "here" and usually I'd say faultless, Delivery times good (subject to stock) on line chat excellent as before, the only issue I've had recently is variation in size, I am about to return some jeans that I may need to go UP 2 sizes to attempt to try them on ! I'll be ordering two sizes up front in future! Will probably wait for another good discount code and free p/p. Generally speaking I'd still give them 5 *

I am writing this review on behalf of my elderly mother who recently ordered goods from WITT International. She is house bound and therefore often orders goods from catalogues for things such as birthday or Christmas presents.
She order a number of items from WITT international late last year, November to my understanding. She did in fact pay a good portion of the balance off shortly after receiving her goods. What she did not realise at the time was that irrespective of this fact she still had to pay a minimum balance off each month. Instead of explaining this to her she was sent repeated correspondence from the payment team at WITT International with late payment fees.
She phoned the customer services team at which time she advised them that a cheque, for the full outstanding balance, would be sent the same day. I checked and the money was taken from her bank balance some 4 days later.
Despite this fact my mother received a further two letters advising her that she still owed money, only this time the balance was larger and they had added a £12.00 default charge - something she was not made aware of.
I anticipate that she will have paid in the region of £20.00 in additional chargers for what I understand covers a 6-7 week timeframe.
It looks like WITT International like to take advantage of the weak and vulnerable - people like my 80 year old mother.
Believe it or not I am still trying to get them to acknowledge receipt of payment and to close her account!
Do not use these guys unless you're prepared for the same treatment.

I ordered a skirt and jacket/cardigan together as I thought the picture of them together looked lovely. As I was going on holiday I put in the delivery instructions to deliver to my neighbour. Meantime, I received an email saying the skirt was being delivered along with tracking details. The Jacket was being processed and with me as soon as possible.
I followed the process of the skirt and once I received an email from Hermes saying the parcel was with the local courier, I contacted my neighbour and said will you be in, the parcel will be coming today or tomorrow. She confirmed she would. The parcel arrived, but instead of delivering to my neighbour, Hermes delivered it to my house by pushing it through the bars of a locked wrought iron gate and throwing it out of arms reach. It was raining that day and my neighbour happened to be bringing in her bin and spotted the Hermes van. She ran over to them for the parcel only to be told it had been delivered and the lady left. My neighbour then had to find a long enough cane to try and "fish" the parcel close enough to the gate to be able to reach it and take it in for me. Is that any way to treat a £70 skirt? According to the parcel status on my account, the parcel was delivered to a "Safe Place". Really?!
The expected delivery of the Jacket is down as 25th September, the only problem is the skirt has to be returned by 17th September if not wanted. How do I know if I want the skirt as I ordered it to go with the jacket as illustrated in the catalogue?
I appreciate things are not always in stock and Witt wouldn't know I ordered the skirt and jacket as per the illustration and obviously, Witt cannot always control their delivery contractors, but Witt you need to know you let me down this time.
In fairness, I have ordered items from Witt before and have always been happy with the service, so come on Witt, tell Hermes throwing a parcel through a locked wrought iron gate in rain is not "A safe place" and who didn't pass on the message to deliver to a neighbour?
I will buy again from Witt as I like their range of clothes, but can I risk placing an order when there is a chance I won't be around to take delivery? I don't know.

Ridiculously bad communication when forced to phone them. Otherwise they fail to even let us know when goods have been dispatched.
Three dates given so far for a long delayed item. But they have only been given to us when we contact them.
They take the money from our account on the day when order is placed from then on they treat you as if you are a mushroom, eg. in the dark.
