DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO THIS SITE: They ripped me off with their tricky/corrupt way of taking WEEKLY donations when I only signed up to donate ONCE!

They've been taking $20.00 week out of my credit card account after I made one $20.00 NONRECURRING contribution. I may call my state attorney general. This is fraud. Plain and simple. Theft.

Just received a letter from you. I have been a donor in the past. However calling me a "Deserter" because I was unable to send donation in a timely manner DID NOT PLEASE ME. Show some COUTH!

DON'T CONTRIBUTE TO THIS SITE!!!!! They rip you off by continuing to deduct "RECURRING" debits. Thank goodness I started my contributions in October. For one candidate they deducted $100 every week and even deducted the money on election day and the week after! If it is not a total scam their tactics are immoral and unethical.

I was believing it was all going to Trump. I found out that Trump is actually trying to sue them for using his name: when it’s the Bad Republicans that are on the lefts side. It’s been supporting the scam side. Lying straight out using trumps name. And it’s definitely wrong. I will never donate again because they are actually annoying. I’m pissed the money: went to the Rogue Left . Trump said stop using his Name. To collect donations/ It’s All Curupt. It’s frustrating.

I had the same issue, made a one time contribution of $ 10, they called me back said if I made a $ 500 donation they would match. This was in end October 2020. They seem to not have my accurate e-mail address so no Notices were made. I broke my leg early November at was hospitalized 2 x for operations and bed ridden until recently. Made my CC payments over the phone and now found out they got me for 6 more $ 500 donations, I never made nor did I ever agree too. They pulled the same party line over 90 days. If they don't have a tape recording of you agreeing to recurring donations then this is a fraud. I even doubt they matched so that is probably another fraud to obtain a donation. I have file complaint with CC company and will file a police report. They told me to contact Trump Campaign Office directly, what a joke that will probably just as hard talking to someone at Trumps Office as it was talking directly to someone at WINRED. They had my phone number tied to the donation and the inaccurate e-mail address and took 3 days to say they finally found the recurring donations. I told them not looking for refund of donations since this is simply a theft on their part since they did not have permission to take more than the $ 510 I admitted to have donated. They stopped hitting the credit card when they went over my credit limit. Do they really think someone would donate $ 500 every week ? They got me for $ 3,000. So don't you think if it was a real obligation they would have gone after me after the CC company shut it down ? Hey if they don't have a good e-mail address and it gets booted back don't you think they can utilize the phone number to make a contact???? When I called them and used the numbers they suggest if you want a refund etc. No real person on the phone I had to go through punching the numbers 1 -0 on my phone 5 times before I got a real person. Sure they are there to get a donation, but when there is a problem no one is there to answer. I got the same lam shit following 5 e-mails that they could not find the account, had to give the 4 digits of the CC , zip code and the dates of all 6 charges. Keep in mind this is not a misunderstanding, this was not done on a computer this was on a call and was not recorded...these people are committing fraud.

It never occurred to me, and I was shocked and livid to learn that WINRED, on behalf of the GOP, would resort to such underhanded and somewhat dishonest tactics. I have to echo the accounts given here in many reviews of WINRED. I'm a passionate Republican and gladly made some donations throughout the election cycle in support of President Trump and other GOP candidates, always careful to make them "one-time" donations. Due to hospitalization, surgery, and recovery, I did not monitor and catch the fact that a confirmation email from WINRED slipped in an automatic recurring monthly donation that I was supposed to opt out of if I didn't accept. Yes, they notified me before and after each of the deductions, however, I didn't catch any of the emails for about 4 months until I was sorting and purging my email inbox of some thousands of spam emails. I immediately unsubscribed to all their emails and donations and have been arguing with them ever since. They did quickly refund three charges to my credit card but no luck on the oldest one because it was over 90 days. This unethical and deceptive practice has surely tainted my willingness to give anymore money for a long while, if ever. So beware and monitor carefully your donations thru WINRED. Simply not right!

Has anyone had luck getting refunds that were over 90 days? Due to health issues preventing them from noticing, it was just discovered that my parents are out $10,000 and they won’t refund the money. Terrible scam and unethical.

I made a one-time donation of $100. and they've been charging my card every month. They don't supply a phone number, so the only way to avoid the rercurring charge is to cancel my card. They're a bunch of crooks and should be in jail. Lesson learned: Never contribute by credit card!

Donated using WinRed and my cell phone went ballistic with 5=10 texts a day asking to support one candidate or another. Notified them but texts continued. WinRed SUcks.

Deceptive .., I all never consider them again in view of having to “UNCHECK” a box to avoid a recurring donation. If the devil is in the details, he is alive, active and well here. Purposely deceptive! I’d use negative stars ... but I don’t get the option to uncheck that box. Bud

4 years ago they did exactly the same thing that I had to cancel my credit card. Now for this year: These are the dates they charged me with out my permission 11/14 $50.00,11/18$35.00, 11/23 $50.00, 11/26 $50.00, 11/30 $50.00, 11/30 $50.00, 11/30 $50.00, 12/03 $50.00, 12/10 $50.00 12/12 $50.00. Yes 3 charges on the same day all but 2 without permission. And this is only ONE Discover card month. They ripped me off for over $900.00, $ 485.00 this one month here. and I can not reach anyone for 2 months. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. I always give $50.00 twice a month but NEVER again. I put this on facebook and I got MULTIPLE people the same thing was done to. They said WinRed was a SCAM. There is a box where you check or uncheck if you prefer to have reoccurring charges and I unchecked it.

I'm sorry but I'd have to say the left is trying to cut off donation s because those that claim winred took money and made donation s reaccuring are not being honest. Yes there is a push to make it reacciring buuut everytime they are about to take money they email you a notice ahead of time just in case you needed to stop it or did it by accident.

I made a one time donation in October. They billed my credit card three times. I called and canceled the duplicates. I canceled the subscription. Tonight, they billed my credit card $400 (four $100 charges).
