On 8-2- 2020, I was victimized by Winn Dixie aka Southeastern Grocers, LLC as they are conducting a scheme to defraud the public by advertising low prices within their store and overcharging customers at the register. The advertised price for 12 eggs was $1.16. I purchased two cartons and was charged a $1.34 for each carton(a 14% overcharge). Apparently this overcharge is programmed into the system operated by Southeastern Grocers in order to fraudulently overcharge customers and unjustly enriched the organization. Evidence of this "ongoing course of conduct" being an intentional fraudulent scheme is(1) the organization is knowingly ignoring consumer complaints to the Better Business Bureau®(according to BBB reports) and this has happened to me before.
When this has happened to me in the past and the item always would overcharge me never an undercharge.
Clearly this is a theft of consumer funds and is an "ongoing course of conduct" by Southeastern Grocers, LLC.
Florida statute 772.11 provides a civil penalty for theft or exploitation with a minimum damage of $200 plus attorney's fees and court cost.
This complaint will be forwarded by the Better Business Bureau to Southeastern Grocers, LLC and it should serve as a demand letter for $200 pursuant to Florida Statutes.
As a settlement I'm requesting that Southeastern Grocers do one the following;
1. Satisfy all unanswered complaints against them with the Better Business Bureau since they have a history of ignoring consumer complaints. NOTE: The BBB online issued an ALERT for this business that states "Pattern of Complaint: BBB files show the company has a pattern of not responding to complaints presented by the BBB and company has failed to eliminate the basic cause of complaints. 2. Stop selling eggs altogether since this item is being used in this scheme to exploit/defraud their customers.

This state law grants victims minimum damages in the amount of $200, and reasonable attorney's fees and court costs.
I am offering Southeast Grocers, LLC the opportunity to save the expenditure of paying my court cost and attorney's fees by promptly paying $200 within 30 days or satisfying items 1 or 2 above.

Got a pork shoulder by mistake instead of beef, store would not refund when I took it back, citing covid; should have just thrown it away and refunded he money; not good customer service, disgusted with WD Casselberry, FL.

I have been going to the Cantonment for about 12 years and have seen many changes. This store went through a complete "upgrade". I have given it a couple of months to try to figure out the design, but it makes zero sense. I spend most of my time looking for things, ie cake mixes, only to find it mixed in with bread and cleaning supplies. Every customer has the same look in their eyes, "can't find anything in here". Several have asked me for help. I just tell them"good luck ". Even if I do find where it's supposed to be, they are probably out of stock. So, Publix is now my store of choice. Sorry Winn Dixie. Rethink your design flow.

They accused me of stealing when I was a hispanic women shopping for my sick mother. The checkout lady spit in my face took my receipt from me when I was just trying to show her I bought the things I am leaving with. Then she processed to rip the reciept in front of me. Stay away from this! Especially if you're a person of color!

I'll no longer shop in your stores. If You can't protect your customers or employees during a Pandemic with mandatory masks, I'm done. Too many options to put my life at risk.

All berries and most fruits are bad and moldy!!!!!!!! Customer service is The worst I ever had a long time!!!! I have been coming to Winn Dixie (located in Tomas drive in PCB) for 3 years. Today was the last time I went there. Food, service are just that bad!

#1 there contact website does not work.Sign in with all of your info and as soon as you begin to type it clears out and goes back to blank home page. Call phone number and they can not answer due to high volume. Tells me they are not really wanting to hear from customers. I wanted to warn customers if you shop in their store always check your receipt for errors. Error rate is very high. Publix seldom makes and error on price. We always shopped at Sweetbay and now 90% at Publix and sometimes Winn Dixie for their ads. Warning always take you ad and check your receipt they make a lot of ERRORS! We can only hope Kroger or someone of quality buys them soon.

Stopped in Winn-Dixie on 3201 W. Colonial Dr. for sale items.Three out of five were not in stock.When asking employee if they could check in back I was told that wasn't their dept and nobody was available to assist me.Lines were backed up while 3 employees were at service desk doing nothing.Had to wait in line nearly 15 minutes at service area to receive raincheck on the sale items not in stock .Cashier was rude. nosmile or eye contact.worst shopping experience ever

The Sebastian Winn Dixie store frequently runs three day sale ads of products that were never in stock or in such limited quantities that they are supposedly sold out of these items only two hours after opening on the very first day of the sale then when asked to speak with a manager i was told no manager was on duty three days in a row each day I was told to come back the following day only to be told the same thing when I ask the store managers name I was told "they werent sure" it might be Scott something
