My Wesleyan financial advisor is amazing!
He really does go above and beyond. I highly appreciate his advice, because it is personalised, shrewd and genuine.

The Wesleyan Team are absolutely useless. Their online chat customer service advisers do not care whether you stay with with Wesleyan or withdraw all your funds. The advisers cannot help you online and ask you to call a number that is never answered! Wesleyan continually try to take direct debits on the wrong days despite SEVERAL emails, online chats and phone calls to ask them to amend the date to what was originally agreed to at the meeting. In addition to this, they fail to cancel a simple direct debit.
I would suggest that anyone STAY AWAY.....you'd be better off putting your money in a box under your bed!

I have had two visits now from a wesleyan financial adviser and found them very helpful and informative. The adviser visited my home in the evening and listened to both myself and my wife talk about our current finances and provided a number of recommendations as well as various pieces of information and leaflets around investments, savings and protection. We also received an email a few days later with a number of options that were clearly explained and included possible costs. Our second meeting went through these in more detail and answered a number of additional questions we had. Very informative and knowledgable, and I didn’t feel pressured into making any purchases.

Had a consultation meeting booked a month in advance with a Wesleyan financial advisor from my local area and 2 hours later still a no show!! Phoned the company up and they were very apologetic regarding the situation. Cancelled the proposed meeting indefinitely. Shocking first impression of the company!!

started a pension for the wife many years ago , now its come time to take a pension , they wont let us take flexi drawdown , had to be on their terms which involves applying for lum sums every few months , which will be paid 25% tax free 75% taxed - wont let us take full tax free ammount
if we want options like that , we have to transfer to new pension plan at 3% charge ie they want £2000 to click a button on a computer
Not a company I would deal with again

Customer service is variable from bad to abysmal. Trying to surrender a long standing policy has been a nightmare. First person we contacted said they would send out the papers and would take 3-5 working days. Three to five working days no papers so contacted them again to be advised we had not been informed of the process correctly and nothing had happened in those five days. Finally sent out the papers with a second class envelope to return policy documents and persons certificates. Yet another company wanting an original bank statement, when will these companies catch on the the fact the paperless billing is a growing trend. Sent forms by recorded delivery and return of post after a trip into the local branch of bank to print off a statement. They have returned the personal certificates so they have had the forms and .......nothing. At this rate the surrender will not happen because the policy will mature before they get their act together.
Will never use this company again for any financial services.
So the saga continues, almost a month on trying to surrender our policy is becoming a nightmare. Wesleyan are saying payment has been made 3 days ago but not only is there nothing in our account there is nothing pending according to our bank head office. Yet another call to the Wesleyan to confirm account details but they cannot help as their systems are down.... again. Promised they will call back tomorrow, I am not holding my breath.

I’m looking to move over to different company for life protection and critical illness. Financial advisors at Wesleyan often complain of poor and outdated IT, they don’t keep appointments. Even when they do visit you, they are unable to help you as their IT systems are mostly down. Wesleyan is also very poor in handling personal customer data and therefore company is not trustworthy to keep your data safe. Wesleyan is not even sending statements on time. Wesleyan has gone downhill and we are really disappointed customers.
