I have used Way to Stay in Amsterdam and Paris. Their service is prompt, excellent, caring. I was able to find the answers to any questions on line and even able to speak to a real person when necessary. I appreciated the updates I received. I would definitely use them again. I also like the clarity of their website.

Shocking experience with waytostay, booked an apartment with no issue, paying the whole fee up front for them to ring a couple of days later to say that its been cancelled. This is highly frustrating when booking in a busy city on a busy weekend. Was then left to find somewhere else to stay without any help. Poor customer service.

We made one phone call from the airport and were met at the apartment very promptly and courteously. Had a very early departure, so put security deposit on cc, to be held until after our departure. The deposit never appeared on our credit card, so all was well, and handled to our advantage. On one of the busiest nights of the year Waytostay arranged a 4:45 am cab, critical to making our flight. We really appreciate the help.

Felice, the Waytostay representatives, was friendly informative and was able to show us all the features of the apartment as well as providing valuable hints and tips about local highlights and amenities not addressed in guide books. The online booking and payment process was easy to use.

Very underhand in the way they handled my booking, cancellation due to incorrect details regarding apartment for rent. Refused to refund me my fee only offering to give me one year to spend my 'credit'. Be warned that you are dealing with a very slippery company here.

Way to Stay is new to me.
I searched via the usual Homeaway / Holiday Lettings etc.
The service level is an added extra vs these previous sites.
the reminders about balance payments were very helpful (rather than threatening!), and I was surprised and pleased to get a call the day after check in to make sure all had gone to plan.
I was still asleep when that call came (so it had all gone well), and missed the call. But, nice to get the voicemail and know I could call someone if there were any problems.
real added value vs the previous process / set up.

We found Waytostay kept us well informed at each stage of our trip - before, during and afterwards. They met us at the property on time and provided some useful local tips. We would be happy to rent properties through them again at any time.

Way to Stay was definitely the way to go when booking our family trip to Barcelona, Spain and a wonderful surprise indeed since it was a company we had not heard about. The online booking process was easy, response by email quick and accurate in terms of what was offered. Staff called us the day after we checked in to make sure we were happy and to address any needs. This touch was unexpected but really a great example of their customer service. Would use again!!

I love way to stay as a company. There has never been an apartment I did not like. They are clean. The hosts are always welcoming and friendly. The staff in Barcelona are helpful & responsive. I love the fact, I can pick up the phone and actually talk to someone! This company is my preferred site to use when in Europe when there are apartments in the locations I am staying in, with so many choices. This time was may first in Portugal, and the staff helped me choose the right areas for Lisbon & Porto based on my requirements. Do yourself a favour. Use the company instead of stuffy hotels. If you like space, and the option to eat in with Kitchens, then this will suit you.

The more i have to contact their team, the more i understand how unprofessional and unbelievable disgusting they are. They don't answer, their phone doesn't work (only if you want to leave a message, but i don't want, i need your operator and help right now!), they ignore EVERYTHING. You will never get any help, only stupid helpless emails from time to time. Especially their product manager Auriane Audel, but actually they are all like her (a least at both French and Russian support teams which i tried to reach). I spent 1,5 month with this company asking for refund after they completely ruined all my vacation (gave me an fraudulent apartments). They finally sent me the money, without any "sorry", and one week later i got an email. They say they want the money back, because it was a mistake hahahahaha
Do you think it is a normal service? No. it is not. And i really hope they will be completely ruined very very soon, because there is no way for such a terrible crazy people to be in the business.
Never ever use it!

I could not fault the service provided by Waytostay. They dealt with all of my queries quickly and efficiently and arranged early check-in with the property owner when we arrived in Barcelona ahead of schedule.
