I have 2 cars, one is covered with Warranty First, although the customer service is good there was alot of back and forward to get a claim validated and then told it takes 21 WORKING days to be paid out, my other car with an alternative warranty company we had the money in our back within a few days via cheque payment. I am still awaiting payout

a very misleading policy , the certificate clearly states £50 per hour labour rate inc of vat and the limit of every claim £1000.00 with no mention of inclusive or exclusive vat so any individual with an understanding of vat will assume that its 1k + vat as they so clearly state in the labour rate the inclusive element, however when you claim up to these limits they say the limit is actually per claim is £833.00 + vat -(£1000.00 inclusive ) hence why they force you to only use vat registration garages - to me this a misleading con - they should say the actual claim limit is 833 + vat and be honest as they claim the vat back as any company would there exposure as a business is £833 not 1 k - question their honesty - typical sales patter do not trust

Warranty that amounts to nothing, they will find a way out of not paying. A complete rip off! Even if they will pay it will be so little you would better put the money in your saving account and then use it for repair when required. Who pays £50 per hour for labour? Ridicilous.. Any garage will charge more than this, plus you will have to pay 10% yourself

Whilst the agents answering my queries were very helpful there is one disadvantage to these policies. I had cause to have a air con condenser split and on taking it it to my garage for repairs, they seem to lose correspondence between the two parties, and I was having to try and find out personally what was holding up the authorisation,
Unfortunately be AWARE of the small print, if your garage is not prepared to wait upto 21 days for payment, then you don't get the job done via warranty, you have to pay for the repair yourself and the wait the 21 days for them to pay you.
Also I was annoyed that although the condenser had split and had lost all the gas etc, YOU still have to pay for the regas! What I cannot understand is that as the part failed, and due to this the gas was lost and is not covered and you have to pay for the regas as well as the 10% excess, where if a normal regas is required as a norm and is not covered, this I could understand. Please review this Warranty First.

We have been dealing with Warranty First for around 7 months now and we are delighted with the service both us and our customer have received.
Our representative Carla is very professional, helpful and always on hand to assist with any questions we have. Our warranty claims have also been dealt with promptly.
The staff in the office are all very helpful too.
We would definately reccommend Warranty First.

this company is just a reap off. after been with them for more that 11 month, I was going to Make a claim which the garage advices it will take longer than 14daays. and one off the warranty first adviser on the phones said it was ok as it was not my fault the appointment to get the car diagnosed was out of my hand and it should be ok. not until they got the report and estimate to get the car fix they decided the claim should have been processed within the 14days, my claim was not accepted and my account was close. this claim process is just a fraud

Had a claim on my Honda CR-V called warranty first gave then vehicle reg then explained what to do next and also sent email and highlighted what had to be done and made a decision with in a few days very easy to contact and quick to respond

This is simply a motor traders con trick, so they can say the vehicle is sold with a warranty, a warranty that amounts to nothing, they will find a way out of paying for anything. Any one who believes the reviews of praise for this company should think again. A complete rip off!

I purchased my warranty from a dealership, i read some reviews and was slightly worried as did some negative reviews. But I can honestly say warranty first have delivered my car engine management light came on. I logged my report online I received and email the next day with the form to be provided to the garage. I sent over my Mot and service history to warranty first. went to my garage who sent over the information to warranty first this was reviewed and approved straight away. One thing I would say is make sure you have the correct level of cover. Make sure your cars service history is up to date.
