Secret shopper offer
Received a check for 1950.00, 350.00 for paid training balance to be used for two secret shopper assignments. check to be deposited in my account then remove 1600.00 to complete assignments. do not deposit the check in any account you have a balance in as the walmart check came back as altered and credit was denied to my account

No response from company
Received a check for 1950.00 and instructed to deposit into bank account. I was told to keep 350.00 for my weekly pay and to send various amounts via western union and money gram but never got to those steps. My bank froze my account and I'm now responsible for the 100.00 I withdrew. Thankful I didn't withdraw more.

Fake Walmart online services
On or about 07/20/13, i received a letter stating that, i had completed an affiliate consumer survey which stated that, i was interested in mystery shopping, part time and further that, i was selected to participate in walmart's online services. The letter also included a pre defined user name and password.
Further enclosed with the letter was a check in the amount of $1,950.00.
I was instructed to use the login information provided to activate the check.
I was further instructed to wait for the check to clear and when i had the money in-hand come back to the web page to get the assignment.
I went back to the site and reported the bank incident. if a reply is submitted, i will update this report.
Advice: if you ever receive a check from an unknown entity or the check is for a large amount, do not place it in your account, take it to the bank that issued said check to verify that it is a good check.
Further, if you are seeking work at home jobs go to: (m.s.p.a.) mystery shoppers providers association.
Best of luck and god bless.

Mystery shopper scam
I got a letter telling me that based on a survey I had done from an affiliated company, I was chosen to become a mystery shopper. A check for $1,950 was included. It said that $350 was my payment and the rest was for the 2 evaluations they wanted me to do. I am signed up to a few survey sites so figured this was from a survey I had done months ago and just forgot about. I put the money into the bank on Saturday and immediately had $300 available. We were in need of a new refrigerator so we spent a little over $100 for the new (used) one. The rest of the money we were planning on setting aside. Well today I go online to check my account balance and it wont let me log on. I call the bank and they tell me that my account has been frozen. That's when I became suspicious. I went online and did some research and found something on Walmart's corporate website stating they don't recruit mystery shoppers. I feel like such an idiot. I went back onto the website that was on the letter I received, clicked on the 1st evaluation, and saw that it was asking me to send money through Money Gram. I feel like such an idiot now. Thankfully all that was spent was a little over $100. Hopefully I can work things out with the bank on repaying them.

Paid Secret Shopper Scam
The first assignment, they wanted me to cash a check, send a majority of it Western Union to "secret shop" the Western Union. Basically scamming me out of over a $1,000.00.
The second assignment was for me to another amount of money using Money Gram. Again, supposedly "secret shopping" them also.
I got to keep $350 which I'm sure was not a real check anyhow.
