If I could rate zero stars I would. So my monthly payment is supposed to be 170 dollars but instead they charge me 550 a month and say that it's my fault for every reason under the sun and they say I will kmow why if I look at my bill so I have studied my bill and yeah nothing on there the staff are very rude as well. So to cut a long story short don't bother with them I'm no longer going to pay them and just go with the flow. I have reported this a scam and I have done a dispute wish me luck

So disappointing. This is most certainly the last time I deal with Vodafone. By far the most frustrating mobile service provider hands down. Cancelled my contract because of this and they tell me the only way I can pay the remainder of the contract is through individual BPAY payments made on my end???!!! I've tried several times to get back in touch to get the CORRECT BPAY details off them and am always on hold for stupidly extended amounts of time. All I would like is to pay this fricking bill but god damn do they make it hard! They have now passed the account on to a collection agency!! Who are actually pretty good to deal with and are more than happy to set up a normal payment plan. Though Vodafone will still default my credit if full amount is not paid in x amount of time. Yeah, nice one Vodafone.

Very hard to understand people on the phone especially if they have Indian English accent The customers service should have someone who speaks English fluently. I am not happy at all Vodafone.

Ver bad experience with Vodafone customer service. I recently place my order with Vodafone for iPhone 11 pro max but they declined my application telling me that my credit score is declined and told me to go and check credit score with illion. When I checked my credit score with illion site they said That my credit score is good to go. Again I called to Vodafone customer and said that I checked my credit with illion and my score is good and asked them to tell me reason why my credit score is declined and they take rudely and told me that they cannot provide me reason why my application is rejected. Very bad service provided by Vodafone.

I did a bit of research, in terms of NBN and 4g coverage before signing up with vodafone NBN. I think this is essential before signing up with any telco. After having a terrible experience with my previous provider, I can say I am very happy so far with Vodafone. I walked into a shop, picked up a modem in 10 mins and had NBN internet the minute I walked home, without anyone attending. To my knowledge they are the only ones to have modems that offer 4G backup for free when the NBN network is down for maintenance. I am in the $59/m essential unlimited contract. Speed is ok - good enough for work, study and streaming one device which is enough for me. They also offer faster connection options.

Customer for 14 years. Recharged (plan suits my needs) and received text message saying as loyalty bonus which involves "Pay and Go" but cannot recharge on existing plan and existing credit won't be rolled over. How is that a Loyalty? - I lose real money. Badly worded, misleading text and they steal my money. Did they not test how Customers would read the text?
Nightmare to find a number to talk to CustomerCare (hopefully a real person) - they are a communication company for heaven sakes.
Asked to confirm my identity and had to provide an address from 14 years ago - really, who remembers that stuff? Had to find my drivers license number because I could not remember a 4 digit number. Poor Customer Service, pathetic written text communication and one very upset Customer
Felt like I was being discriminated against because I can't remember things from 14 years ago. Was told it was an old number - well yes, it is, thats what loyal customers do, they keep their number and pay their bills.
Really Vodafone, think about your process and how you handle people. If they steal my money I am going to another provider - explain losing a loyal customer.
Overall rating: Pathetic, disasterous, awful experience, very unhappy

I have a lot of mobile data, what is expensive, that actually I can’t use because it never works properly. I live 5km far from Melbourne CBD and it never works at home. I already tried my friends mobile data at home and all of them who don’t use Vodafone have their mobile data working properly. The download speed is 3.1mbps.

Only giving it a star because I have to in order to leave a review.
As soon as I connected with them the first thing I noticed was how horrible the connection was. People can not hear me properly, I can't hear people properly. Voices are often crackled and distorted, and fine when I use other people's phones who are with Telstra. 80% of the time media will not send over text message. Very bad coverage in terms of signal. Those that I know who have vodaphone (although very few) also have these problems and are unsatisfied.
Although it is a no lock in contract, if you have a new phone through them you must pay out the remaining charges before switching over. As soon as this phone is paid off I'll be switching and not going back.
First and last attempt with Vodaphone.

Fragmented customer service
Vodafone network service is acceptable with many benefits but......
Customer service is fragmented and virtually non-existent, they run a sales driven culture with false promises, there is zero respect for customer loyalty, instead they prefer to lock you in again with more false promises.
This company has a fragmented customer service team that will frustrate the most patient of customers.
You will only have yourself to blame for the time you will waste if you lock in to Vodafone.
You have been warned!

I signed up for a 12 month contract and wound up phoning the accounts team every month for a variety of issues: incorrect monthly amounts, connection fees that should have been waived, double broadband charges when I was finally upgraded to fibre (seriously, one Bill was $300), month long delays to get the three free month promotion that i signed up under, you name it. Clearly the accounts team's game was to bill incorrectly and hope its customer didnt have the time to phone in to make corrections. I spent so much time on the phone and following up requests that I should invoice vodafone for my time.
Their small print announcement that they were increasing their prices for fixed term customers came well hidden in a bill. Nevermind that vodafone actually broke contract by increasing their prices, nevermind that alone should be considered for legal action on the part of every customer with an account through them.
On their website they were waiving the early termination fee, so I took my opportunity to switch companies.
Ironically enough, the only time vodafone considered me under a contract was when I was once more erroneously billed the early termination fee. They were even so kind to waste postage and paper on a bill to my letterbox and not just email! So yet again another call.
Don't waste your time dealing with vodafone for broadband solutions.

The worst experience ever. I signed up for a mobile broadband service (month-to-month). Once this was no longer needed, I terminated the service via their own app interface back in October of last year. In November, a further charge was made (for the month of November), indicating that despite the confirmation received over their interface, the account was still not closed. Thus I proceeded to one of their stores, and again, the staff assured me the account was now closed.
Months passed, and I received fairly harrassing, passive aggressive calls from the Australian Debt Recoveries Pty Ltd, and notwithstanding my attempts to convey to them that the issue was a clerical one on the part of Vodafone (citing specific dates and interactions), they continued to attempt to intimidate me with the threat of a bad credit rating and legal proceedings.
After yet another conversation with Vodafone over their customer service phone line, which took over an hour to deal with, being bounced between 5 or 6 different staff (each time needing to repeat myself from my basic account info right through the issue... talk about torture),... they finally credited the account, and had me pay a smaller remaining sum (never mind I shouldn't even have done this, but the prospect of no longer being harassed appeared worth the nuisance of a fee). They also assured me that the matter was now dealt with and that the debt collection agency would be contacted and told not to pursue the matter any further.... and after all this, the collection agency continues to pursue me for some other remaining bogus amount. A complete farce, and I will happily report Vodafone and the collection agency to the relevant industry bodies.

I had made 2 visits to the store and 3 calls to the customer care - and yet my problem is unresolved. I just wanted to change the ownership of the number and change of plan. They just make you run around with contradictory suggestions ......with such a horrible service , i wonder how they exist .

It is 2019...not 1980s...still they cannot get their act together, the worst mobile network in Australia 4G or 3G and probably in the western world... they are a black spot to global vodafone brand in Australia, i gave them a chance for a year...even in melbourne cbd gives me less than 2M and sometimes worse...voda should shut down the business...never use it or never recommend to anyone. It is 2019...not 1980s...

I recently switched from SSE to Vodafone I have had no issues with SSE in fact over the 2 years with SSE I haven't had to call them once Vodafone are running a a campaign for existing mobile users which appears cheaper but is misleading due to hidden costs so I end up paying the same which wasn't the issue. Its their customer service both on the phone and the live chat. I had to speak with various staff on 5 separate occasions in the span of 3 days to get my mobile broadband reactivated and was LIED to by one of their minions who couldn't be bothered to rectify the issue and another wouldn't even acknowledge their mess up and wouldn't apologise instead making an already irate customer become increasingly frustrated to the point I lost my temper very poor call handling and better yet the issue is still not rectified and each new contact I have had to repeat literally word for word the previous 5 conversations just to be passed from pillar to post. I was a loyal customer wanting to keep all my mobile and broadband services under the same company but was rewarded with frustration and agony, I will take my custom elsewhere thank you. EE will be contact regarding my broadband switch that must be a record less than 1 week!!!!

I have been to the Vodafone store on the corner of Bourke and Swanston St several times in the last month to sort out ongoing issues with my phone only to be spoken to in a condesceding, hostile and very unprofessional manner from all staff including the manager. I am very surprised how bad the service is at this store. The Vodafone brand is very poor based on the staff they employ to represent the brand. Avoid like the plague.

I have been a loyal Vodafone customer for many years. After noticing speed and issuers with internet on phone contacted Vodafone and was advised to purchase mobile broad for home. They advised mobile broadband as NBN is months away. Went to shop and was told the modem will fix things.
Came home and tried and was worse than mobile phone network. Spent 3-4 hours in chat and on phone call being transformed and having to explain every time and was advised that tower was down and it will be at least 1 month until it might be fixed. Had one representative advise they would offer 10% off and said it wasn't good enough and internet doers work. It had speed of 4kbps (not mbps), worse than old dial up. I ended up speaking with 4 different people and was advised by the retention staff that they would offer 50% off a service that doesn't work it's that slow.
I am now looking at cancelling everything with vodafone and looking for new supplier. Shame I tbought they provided a good service until today but after wasting a whole day and there is no coming back from that.

One of worse service and signal drop off lot. This rip off offer recently started by Vodaphone Australia.so be aware from Vodaphone. I am with Vodaphone from the start when they entered in Australia.They are getting worse and pathetic. iam on $80 plan which they called red plan. Red plan is totally bulls hit. Vodaphone customer care call you before 2 months to trap you again in contract.one more thing. Now my contact is going to finish in next 2 months. They charge me $15 late fee they never charge me late fee.I had 5 plans for business.now this is last one.
