I order there for the first time and they only send half of my purchase. Not buying from them again

I would like to amend my original review (BELOW). After I posted a frustrated two-star review, Vitasave reached out to me and two upper echelon members called me on consecutive days to apologize, sincerely admitting that the slow delivery should not have happened, especially in light of my urgent need for the health supplements. They promised that it would never happen again. In addition, they sent me my order, which I had cancelled, as a complimentary gift to make up for the poor service.
I believe that credit should be given when it is due and Vitasave has redeemed themselves, making me feel that I WAS a valued customer after all. I am very pleased with their resolution. So, kudos.

I've been buying from this company for years - a long-time customer. Most of my orders are between $200 and $400+. But no more. I've had it with them.
I live just across the bridge and used to get my orders the next day - in the old days. But, during the time they were opening up their Robson store, it took 10 days to get my order (that was their excuse); they were busy opening up a new store. Great way to make customer feel he/she isn't as important as their business expansion and profits. Hey! Customers matter; every one of us is responsible for your profits. If you're so busy adding stores that you ignore longstanding customers, you don't deserve us.
I let that slide, but now -
I ordered a shipment on Friday. I needed one product urgently for excruciating back pain/spasms (I can't and don't take pharmaceuticals). By Tues. it still hadn't been mailed out so I called and was told by an irritatingly cheerful person a bunch of nonsensical excuses - such as, when everything isn't in the warehouse ... (sorry, it was confirmed when I ordered that everything WAS in stock). Then "well, we're moving our warehouse right now; everything's in a mess here." I said I needed the shipment now, that I was in incredible pain. Ms. Cheery said, "It'll be mailed out and you'll get it by Thursday." That's a week, honey. Totally unacceptable.
I have also placed orders with The Vitamin Shop in Victoria. They arrive at my door in Vancouver the next day. Always.
I'm a stickler for customer service. I now have a new vitamin store and it's in Victoria.

Wonderful company to deal with. Such lovely staff and have had great experiences at both stores and with the support staff over the phone and email. Awesome selection of products at the lowest prices I have found yet.
I would reccommend this place to anyone. They also have a 3 business day processing guarantee so I know my orders will always ship in no more than 3 business days.

I have only ever had amazing experiences while shopping with Vitasave. Not only is everyone happy and helpful over the phone, but they have gone the extra mile and shipped my orders Xpress Post with no additional charge. I live in a small town and have always had my ordered shipped out within three days and arrived at my home. I highly recommend this company for anyone who doesn't have access to health food stores, OR, for people looking to get the best prices & experience.

They offer a wide variety of products. The website provides in-depth information about the product and the company that makes the product.

Ordered from them for the first time, and here are my conclusions:
1. Delivery time - the parcel arrived very fast! I ordered on Thursday and received the items on the following Tuesday.. I'd expected a longer delivery for a shipping from BC to NS.
2. Prices: I ordered probiotics and they got the best prices + some discounts. Very convenient prices.
3. Service - I called them to ask a few questions. A very nice guy patiently answered and explained everything I needed to know.
I'll definitely continue purchasing from them, and hope they'll keep this way.

Just an update. The company reached out, refunded my order and sent me the product free of charge. I didn't realize there was a physical store with a great team. Ian was marvellous.

I have been a loyal customer of Vitasave for many years even before it was called Vitasave (originally called Nutraways). Supplements can be very tricky to purchase due to allergies and reactions unless you are ordering the same product that has been tried before and used successfully. Vitasave has generally been good about allowing me to return products. However, recently, I had an issue with a particular product being out of stock. The smaller size was available but the much more cost-effective larger size was not. I mistakenly ordered the smaller size twice. The first time, I just kept it but the second time, I asked to return it. I was condescendingly told on the phone and via email by Sarah that I had apparently had "multiple conversations" with her about returning items (?) and that they would have to charge me $12.99 to return the item. I have no recollection of these "multiple conversations". What also upset me was that I was spoken down to as if I was trying to do something wrong or get away with something. All I was trying to do was return an item that was mistakenly ordered and was not used and completely sealed and had just arrived that same afternoon. I was quite shocked at the attitude and told Sarah that I was no longer going to shop at Vitasave. I called my bank's credit card line and the rep. sympathized with the situation and told me to stop ordering from this company as he said most good merchants will return items within Canada at no charge for a regular customer. My bank actually said that it would help me by crediting the charge that Vitasave would deduct from my return! My credit card company gave me the credit instead of Vitasave. I believe that makes a statement in itself about the ridiculous attitude of Sarah and Vitasave. I hope the $12.99 that Vitasave will charge me for the return helps its bottom line. I'll be taking care of my bottom line from now on by shopping exclusively at Well.ca which has better prices and hassle-free returns.
