Scam of technical support
On February 4,2017 my computer said I had a virus on it and to call the number to fix it which was Visionwebcreation but their email says visionezone. They talked me into a service plan that cost $281 which I paid with a charge card. It was supposed to be for 4 years. On May 4, 2017 again my computer was going slow so I called these people and they said that I had to pay another $250 and I told them I was going to contact someone and then all of a sudden we received another call that said they were going to do it free and reimburse our $280 as Microsoft (which they are not apart of) said they could not charge us. They said they had to wire it into our account and us being stupid to let them do this but it was in there double and they said that we had to send the overpayment back to them and for us to go to Walmart and get three I Tune Cards. I said I am not going to do this and told my husband to hold the phone while I called our bank and there was no such deposit in it and I told him that and he said can't you see with your own eyes. The next time I look at our account there was no such deposit and I called a complaint department and they told me to take that computer to a professional and for them to clean it out of any information in regard to this company. Today, May 5th that is what we did and they have our computer for about a week. I have changed all of our passwords plus called our charge card and they are disputing this charge and it will take up to ninety days. The man that is fixing our computer said this is a scam that many people fall for. I just had to complain about this so this does not happen to someone else. Thank You.

Red screen pop up saying computer has Trojan Virus
A red screen pop up came up saying my computer had been infected with a trojan virus and the computer was frozen need to call the above number immediately to avoid any damage to the computer...I called the number and the person on the other end said this needed immediate attention as my computer was being hacked and could involve getting into my banking, passwords and personal information....I kept asking if this was a scam and he kept ässuring"me it was not. he went through a big long session as what they could do to repair it immediately. After a while, I gave in and said ok as I was afraid that maybe I had been hacked, etc Even though I kept telling him that my computer was new and I had put McVee virus on it and should take care of these problems he convinced me that this would take care of the hacking and I needed additional protection.....I said finally ok, so after his spell He gave me quotes of how much this would be and he gave me 3 quotes for length of service protection I took the least amount which was for 2 years at the price of $191...he then asked for a credit card I refused but said I would give a check he then proceeded to put a blank check up on the screen and had me fill out the routing number and account number on it with the amount...I didn't feel right about this at all but he assured me it would be fine....After approximately 1 1/2 hrs they took to run a scan and repair they notified me that it was all taken care of ... After getting off the phone and thinking about this and checking about this company, I determined it was a scam and I contacted my bank and canceled the check,,,, I have not heard from the so called company, but it is only less than 2 days......

Wanted me to wire a large amount of money to an account in India
I have been with company for 2 years - at a routine 'check up' they wanted me to wire a large amount of money to a bank account in India for a 'lifetime' cover. The name of the account seemed to bear no relation to the company name and I was told to tell the bank that the wire was to a friend in Indiaot an IT company. They placed a code on the computer that prevents me getting into my PC and laptop. They offered to refund the initial payment (see below) if I let them back in to take off everything they put on (do they really think I was born yesterday?). So I will have to do a factory reset on both machines and start from scratch.

Scam computer firewall protection
Shut down your computer, hang up and call Microsoft immediately! 877-829-1356 open 24 hrs. Microsoft never heard of them. DO not let them access your computer remotely! They claim that they are associated with Microsoft and that they have been receiving messages that your computer has lots of error messages and that they are technical support and the services are free. Very convincing until they tell you they want money and pass the phone to 3 more people.
