I booked tickets two months in advance but never received email confirmation, so I printed out my orders from the website and came to the office. There I was told by the receptionist that I came to the wrong agency. When I politely disagreed,there was an extended conference of clerks, followed by the appearance of the office manager, a rude and officious person who objected to my “attitude” and refused to help me complete the necessary voucher forms.

Do not use this site. I tried to book a ticket and received an email saying this is not confirmed and we will reply within 24 hours. So I assumed they do not have tickets as the concewrt was in a few hours. Then took my money and sent an email 37 minutes before the concert saying be at the box office 20 minutes before! I saw the email the next day. They charged me, refused to refund the money and how on earth do you expect me to see an email and be there in 17 minutes when it takes 60 minutes to get there. Either you are in the business or you are not and DO NOT FALSELY ADVERTISE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TICKETS AT SHORT NOTICE. JUST BE FAIR.

Bought two tickets for a concert my saughter wanted to see. They charged me 2x 49€ for the ticktes plus another 16€ for shipping & handling (ok, sold out concert, what can I do?). They charged my card and send an e-mail. After almost 3 weeks and still no tickets in the post (who send by post anyway, but was only option besides pick up in person - I’m 450 km away..) I sent an email. The reply - the concert was sold out, so no tickets for me. But luckily, they cancelled my card charge.

Other may feel the 20% commission for Vienna Opera tickets booked five months ahead seems greedy.
Caveat emptor accepted, though. What proved embarrassing was the late discovery that the pickup voucher did not give the time of the performance.

Do not book from Vienna Ticket Office. They gave me the wrong information about diner/concert event. I paid 95 euros only to spend a whole day looking for the venue. They do not provide you the full information and I lost my money

Don't buy ticket from Vienna Ticket Office!
This is what happened to me. On March I pre-booked two ticket for the Scala di Milano Theater, as a gift for my partner who wanted to see Le Nozze di Figaro Opera on October. I payed 146.00 EUR each (120,00 EUR plus the Ticket Office fee) for a amount of 292,00 EUR that I payed immediately by credit card. I did not have the chance to choice the seats, I could just select the category of the Theatre seats (I choose "D"). I did not received any warning or information about the category I selected: when I booked the ticket there were a lot of free seats and I could freely choose - I pre-booked the tickets 8 months before the representation date. The last week I finally received the two tickets... in two different Theatre areas. Me and my partner are not togheter at all: we are in two differtent dais. This is the answer I get from the Vienna Ticket Office help desk when I ask to change one of the seat: "it is not possible to change your tickets. In category D, there are only single seats available, no seats together." But they did not advise me when I payed almost 300,00 EUR to buy 2 tickets - that everybody intends togheter - 8 months earlier. I tried to change one of the ticket directly on the Scala Ticket Office, and they told me to do not buy tickets form organization like Vienna Ticket Office, that are not authorized resellers. I hope that my negative experience could be useful for you!

We received a personal phone call from Thomas, because we had a communication glitch and did not receive our confirmation. After the fact we learned that the icloud had messed up or computers and iphones. We appreciated the personal response and look forward to our time in Vienna in August.

I found the Vienna Card fantastic Value. I was travelling with my 14 year old daughter and after we saw the main sights that we wanted to I left it up to her to seek out the "freebies" and we had a lot of fun with it. Could recommend to any traveller visiting Vienna!
