Sent me a fake Prada jacket with a ripped lining, dirty sleeves and screwed up in a small cardboard box in early July. They claimed it was checked by their experts twice before leaving. Told me to send it back and it would take 2 weeks to review a third time!!!! Two weeks has passed and they still have not provided any answer. THEY ARE THIEVES SELLING RUBBISH. THEY HAVE KEPT MY MONEY AND THE JACKET. AVOID THIS COMPANY

I have read many negative reviews of Vestiaire so was very apprehensive to sell with them! However, I can only say I have not had any bad experiences, it is an easy site to use and I have sold 6 items and been paid promptly for each sale.

I ordered a Gucci bag and a straw bag and was charged 15.50 euros for postage. The Gucci bag did not pass their checks but they had already sent me the straw bag which cost 29 euros.
The result is I have paid over 50% postage for a straw bag.They should send the order together and I should have had the option to cancel if one item did not pass their checks.
Next time I want a straw bag I shall go to the market, or another site!
I would not advise buying from Vestiaire unless the postage can really be justified for every item as it a very high charge. I bought two things to justify the postage charge.
Maybe there should be an option when buying to buy all or nothing.
I have really learnt my lesson!
I will not be shopping with them again should this not be resolved, I consider their current response unacceptable.

First timehorrible experience. Got wrong ticket to send item by post ....wote a mail and nodody awsered ..I called costumers service and informed that wouldnt pay for transport...could find the person I wrote to...they were unhelpull , rude and uninterested.... no alternative to to write a letter to legal service....vey disappointing...

My experience as a salesperson has been good until today. I bought a Carolina Herrera t-shirt, I sent to VC as usual, and when it arrives the Quality Department say me that all it's ok (the quality and authenticity) but the size tag is missing and that they have notified to the buyer this. I have written to them saying that CH includes the size on the brand label (red label) and I've attached photo and I have attached a photo of the tag as seen in the article ad.
Well, then send me an email notifying me that the buyer has rejected the item for this.
I can't understand that a competent quality department ignores how label each firm and creates a non existent problem.
From now on I will think if I continue to sell my items in VC or delete all of them from the sale.

I made 3 purchases before I decided to never again, here goes my experience:
-1st: a Moncler coat, it arrived quite quickly however the quality wasnt up to what you would expect from a coat of this level. As returning it, would have cost me about 20€ I decided to sell it. It was the very first person who looked at the coat and pointed me the clues why it was a copy, among those reasons was the lack of certilogo... i wonder how the professional quality control of VC isnt aware of something so easy to check... I returned it back without any problem and they offered me a 15€ voucher for my inconveniences.
-2nd: while trying to sell the first coat I didn't like, I bought another one at VC. I previously negotiated price with the seller and when he accepted my offer, I immediately paid. After 2 weeks when the coat still wasnt on its way to the central, I started to call them on their special priced number to figure put what was wrong, get them contact the seller to ship etc, but supposedly no results. Only on the 30th day, they told me the coat was not available and they refunded me the price I paid. They again offered me a 15€ voucher for my so called inconveniences, however I would call it as ´in exchange for using my money for a month, while they knew from te beginning the transaction wont go through.´
-3rd: I bought some knitwear as ‘winter is coming :)’ and one of them despite the condition description came with a huge hole in it. Returned, no voucher this time.
Since i really wanted a Moncler coat without paying the original price tag and learnt how to check authenticity myself, I negotiated a price for a third one, and wanted to use one of those 15€ vouchers to compensate the total price for the ridiculous quality control and found out that the vouchers were both expired. Since those vouchers were provided not as part of a promotion but as a compensation, I called them to have them extended or to get a new one as on the mobile version of the email no expiry condition was visible, and besides, the bad experience I had wasnt a matter of 30 or 35 days, they should have made it up to my next order(at least thats what I do with my customers)
They refused to do so and I decided to never ever purchase there again. Not for the 15€ but because it s supposed to be a luxury service and you ought to have that experience even if it is second hand and not feel betrayed and suspicious every time you buy something. They charge those 15€ and make the whole business concept around the quality control which is inexistent. (they call it shipping though on the orders to make it defendable) In my case, all my purchases failed, and on the top of it they put the items back on sale without chaging price or description, hoping somebody wont realize the hole or the coat being fake. It is actually illegal... My advice is to save yourself the bad taste in your mouth and search for a discount, huge promotion, outlet etc for the item you love and avoid Vestiaire... at least that s what I did. ...
