Horrible customer service. Chat taking up to 44 mins to reply. UK phone number not working (person unavailable message in French). Piezo not working.

Only 1 of 2 burners working when received grill. Been trying for two weeks to contact Verycook to arrange return of grill and finding it near impossible to talk to live person. When I did manage to get through and arrange a delivery date the courier GLS services did not show up on the date and I have been unable to contact Verycook since to arrange another date... I'd probably try and order another grill but not sure I will due to lack of customer service....

After a long internet research I decided to go for the Made in France Verycook (also liked the young entrepreneur story), just received my plancha today (GLS delivery was OK) and to say the least I am quite disappointed for a product which is 90% more expensing from comparable on Amazon UK:
- missing UK gas hose
- one piezo ignition not working ... so one burner out of two
- one burner knob tilted compare to the other
- enameled steel plate chipped on one corner
- also would be great to get a cooking book like the french do (or at least to get the option for the french speakers)
Which is leaving me with the following question: does Verycook have a Quality Control dept. looking at the products before shipping them away? And by reading some other reviews I am not the only one out there ....
