I like the email templates. The process is quick. The only downfall is that I noticed when I send emails from VR my customers are saying they don't see them and I have to redirect them to check their junk and spam folders.

About medium in terms of ease of use. I don’t have much to compare it to, but it has some nice features like being able to schedule future mail and track response.

As shown below, your site clearly stated that I had a 60 day trial, with no credit card required. Well, I was IMMEDIATELY charged $200 twice for before the 30 day was up and told that "no refunds could be made" but they would put out 2 newsletters for me. The 1st newsletter netted me no results, and wishing I had never had any contact with VR. We'll see if anyone at VR cares enough to contact me or do anything about this situation.

PS, Unfortunately VR doesn't allow screen shots of the home page that clearly states what the terms are.

A lot of emails went straight to spam...but that may not be fault of Vertical Response (not sure how that works). Biggest issue was that I had a small number of Bounces according to VR, when in reality, a much larger number of email addresses were undeliverable--which I discovered after sending emails manually. Pros: interface is easy to use; pricing is competitive.

Started out using VR free when our organization was smaller. Everything worked perfectly. When we crossed the pay threshold, we kept using VR because it is so easy and reliable - and economical.

I highly recommend VerticalResponse as it is very user friendly. I looked at others, and none of them can compare to the professional service that VerticalResponse offers its customers.

I like the user-friendly platform, but I find it frequently freezes, which make me have to refresh, losing anything I haven't saved. Text selections are limited, so a weekly mail-our gets a little redundant. This is also the case for formatting. Perhaps I haven't completely explored all the features, but as a small business owner, I don't have time. The platform could be more flexible, for example like Vistaprint, which allows you to place your own images and text where you want.

All emails are sent ONLY by request. Numerous recipients never receive then. My personal email is a gmail address and suddenly the newsletter started going into junk mail. Numerous verified addresses by 2 services bounce but go through when sent from directly from the newsletter address email.

I love the instant availability of resending to non opens. The website could be improved however, hence the 4 stars. I'd like to give 4.7 stars really.

I wish there were more templates to choose from. I'm an embroider and there are no craft like templates to choose from and some that I would like to change your picture won't change. You need to get a better variety of pic/templates

In 2012, I used Vertical Response to raise funds for a narrative short film, which was a project of a California nonprofit. The VR interface lent nearly endless flexibility, the e-mails landed where they were supposed to, and the campaign was successful.
Seven years later, I returned to VerticalResponse to fundraise for a new narrative short, also a project of a nonprofit.
The experience has been quite different from 2012. The current message creation interface does not provide for true “from scratch” design. The “content block” templates do not interact well with each other (e.g., they do not left-align consistently with each other), the content blocks do not retain user-selected style changes, plus other problems. The results are embarrassingly amateurish.
Worse, an apparently known issue regarding VR-dispatched messages going into recipients’ junk mail was not surfaced to me at any point during development of the five messages I’ve sent over the past eight weeks.
Worst of all, the message that does get retrieved from a junk folder can look nothing like what I dispatched.
That canned language distinguishing VR from Mail Chimp is not available to support representatives probably requires immediate rectification.

I have been a customer of Vertical Response for 7 years now and have really enjoyed the service. The only challenge I have now is the transition of the format. I am always open to change, however the site is no longer user friendly and very confusing. Since the transitional change on the site, I am still trying to maneuver my way around the site and yet to understand the changes. I am still at 50% of understanding the new site. I have contacted customer service 3 times since the change, every one was very kind, but limited to helping me on this new site. They made attempts to help but I find myself still struggling to understand it. The email I received said I had to change to the new format only to find out that I did not have to make this adjustment until a later date and then I ended up upgrading from the original plan because I thought I had to do this in order to make the transition because there was no clarity during the transition. I am still a customer and have no intentions of canceling, but there was a point where I was just going to cancel because the site was too complex and perplexing. Overall the rates and marketing services beats out many of the other companies with similar formats, I just have to keep working on the kinks and try to figure the the new site out.

Have used Vertical Response for about 10 years. The platform is very robust and has a lot of features not available from other companies. Their employees there are very friendly and helpful whenever we have had any issues. We have some deliverability problems with certain email addresses (like gmail for example), but the Reps at Vertical Response are always eager to help out and troubleshoot problems when they occur. Would recommend them.

I liked the way the landing pages were able to be designed, but there were hiccups when it came to emails going out. The automations didn't seem to work. I ended up transferring the contacts that the forms did successfully capture to another software and sending emails from there.
