Amazing stay, couldnt ask for anything more. We lost our passports and the staff were so helpful in retrieving and saving them for us. Perfect location to the strip and ideal if you want to be out of it a little bit

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in, bettered only by the Langham in London.
Right in the middle of the action on the border of the north and South strip and walking distance to every other major hotel in Vegas. A handy walkway takes you to the Bellagio Hotel out the back where you can catch the Cirque de Soleil show and you can walk around the courtyard to the Aria which is featured in the recent film "Last in Vegas" which has it's own casino in the lobby. It is right next to the most prestigious mall in Vegas the newly opened "crystals " which is also an architectural masterpiece in its own right rather than the boxy space you would normally expect.
Intimate bar in the lobby and well appointed lifts lead to spacious and modern rooms with a bed so amazing they leave you a brochure because you may like it so much you just might want one for home. Some rooms have a view of the famous Bellagio fountain but ours didn't but the view was still panoramic enough and easily made private by the electrically operated blinds. All staff were attentive and knowledgable but the only let down was navigating the doors with our cases. Curiously the rooms did not have any tea or coffee making facilities and you have ask for them. When the kettle arrived it was an old fashioned whistling type that you have to put on the stove which was strangely out of keeping with the modernity of the rest of the hotel. It took 10 minutes to boil and we just gave up after that and didn't use it again. If you are listening Vdara please invest in some of those new fangled kettles that work on electrickery as they are all the rage here in London. If you can't do without your hot drink fix there is a Starbucks and cafe in the lobby too and plenty of taxis available to take you where you want to go as destinations in Vegas are always further than they look.
We will definitely go back!
A non smokers haven.
