This bunch of arses sold me Sony RX100 several years ago.
They sold it to me as a brand new but the camera arrived in unsealed box. The user manual or CD were missing. There were only three European languages on camera menu. All the others were hieroglyphs. This mean that the product was manufactured for Asian market. I contacted those wan(k(ers via email and asked to take the camera back and do a refund, I did it on tens of occasions until my patience worn out and I gave up. The camera was faulty at the very begging, some functions never worked. With time the faults became more annoying making the use of camera impossible.
Advice to all - avoid them, do not get tempted by low price.

I bought Nikon D7100 camera from them which stopped working just after taking 200 pictures. They refused my warranty claim saying that their repair center is only in Hong Kong. Also all transportation/courier expenses and custom expensive will be paid for me (not by value basket). They lie in their warranty services and their warranty is never UK or Spain warranty but Hong Kong warranty. Its now an old story for me but I am still angry on them because buying from them was a total loss for me of 639 Euro.

It's the first time ever I get such a bad experience like this and loose all this money.
My phone didn't work after a few months. But I was not stressed since they gave the Italian warranty (I live in Italy), so I tried to write to them. They asked me photos , videos, and so much info, which i supplied to them. After a couple of months they send me an address that i have to send it back in Cina, they can't garantee service from Italy. I send it, and it comes back to me as wrong address.
Now I can't even get a reach of them. I think they closed the shop and don't exist anymore. Another scam unresolved.
I hope the owner goes to prison for false publicity. I bought it because they garanteed a local repair service etc.

I did receive a Samsung s6, but it was the wrong model/color.
So, i sent it back 4 months ago and so far noooothing!!
The bank says that cannot open a claim against them to get the money back without a letter from the company stating the value of the product and the card that was used on the purchase (?).
It's sad to see that the system that is made to protect the costumer it's actually protecting the company. Because, it's obvious that's they didn't/won't answer any of my emails asking for the letter!!!

I send my Sony Xperia Z3 Daul for repair and it seems that I've been cheated! There's no chance I'm going to get my phone back! How could they do this? Are they human? Bad Bad Bad.
However, I believed that we all have our own decency within and I hope that they will return my phone ASAP! Still we can live and hope!
Just to update everyone, I've managed to made contact with the administrator and finally got my phone back before Xmas!

It took a month for my phone to arrive and it is supposed to take only max 14 days. The phone was an UAE phone and the theme app wasn't working. I gave them all the evidence they needed for their investigation and they found out the phone is faulty. It took a month of them repeating themselves telling me need to send the same information again. Now they are telling me can return the phone but it will only be refunded if they can't fix the problem or find the replacement even though asked for a refund. So now if I return the phone I will be charged for administration cost and shipping cost even though it was not my fault the phone had a problem. The company based in China so pay a heavy amount for shipping that wont't be refunded. This is a scam. Their website says something completely different and now they don't accept orders as well in the UK market.

I ordered a new Samsung Galaxy S7 back in the 21st May 2016. Was stated that they were in stock on the website but after a couple of weeks order status was changed to delayed.
After several emails and phone calls chasing delivery date and what the delay actually was I finally canceled the order and requested credit on the 8th July which is around 8 weeks and I am still awaiting refund 12 days later even though it was stated to be 4-7 working days.
Avoid at all costs as they are happy to take your money but refuse to give back in reasonable time.

I am highly disappointed as we placed the order for phone and was waiting more than 8 weeks. Tried to call the customer, horrible service the lady called Alice was rude and disconnected the phone without giving us the delivery date. We then cancelled the order and it's been nearly 4 weeks now we didn't get the money back and we coudn't contact Value basket via phone and via website. I NEED MY MONEY. PLEASE RESOLVE. Very happy with ValueBasket, considerably cheaper for both an iPad and HTC One M9.
Delivery is quite slow, but its worth it to get the cheaper price.
Would definitely use again for future tech purchases

I had a problem with an order for which they took the money from my account. I brought this issue up with Value Baskets customer services and they acknowledged that there was an error and that they owed me a refund of approx £196.99. I was first told it would take a maximum of 12 days for the refund to show in my account but here we are almost a month later and still no sign of any refund. I have repeatedly contacted their customer services department to find out what's happening and the keep saying the same thing that my order has been prioritised and someone will email me as soon as it has been processed. Well have now waited almost 3 times what they told me would be the maximum waiting time for a refund and still no sign of any refund or any proper help from their customer services. All I ever seem to get is this cut and paste response which I am now sure they send to all their customers in my position without actually doing absolutely nothing about it. I hope they read this and sort this refund out soon before I have to start to look into further steps of legal action against them as they have left me £200 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. So my experience so far has been nothing short of miserable. There is certainly no value to be had here with this company that is obviously nothing short of a complete basket case.

it on Warranty , I've sent my Asus zenfone 6 back to their repair in Hong Kong and no sign of them at all.the business look like it closing down because of the website and you can't talk to anyone on the phone and email because they have technical issues. it been 3 week and i don't know where my phone is and how long it would take to fix it. it should take 1 month to fix an item if it take 3 month then give me an new one or my money back

Never delivered as promised, despite their web-site showing they still have the item in stock. Their answer to every question is "4 to 7 working days". Cancelled order. No refund as promised. Have had to raise a dispute through my credit card company.

Ordered speakers, still waiting. Customer service no help. All very vague. Given them till Friday then will cancel and ask for money back. Judging by other reviews I will need to go direct to credit card company to get my money. This was a present, birthday was last week!

My adventure with the shop is similar to many others. 20.06 I sent a request to cancel the order after 2 months of waiting for the ordered equipment. During this time, the phone in my case: Sony Xperia Z3 + was, and is still available on the amount at the moment 3 pcs., And lead time, "we send usually within 2-6 days," nothing but order. After a week, and another sent warnings, someone kind I wrote that my decision is respected and your order has been canceled, a refund will take up to 7 working days, then the question was about the next 5 until the end of the administration of the terms replaced the information that you have a problem with the system settlement and, of course, immediately after the repair refund will be made. I do not have money today, and considering all the opinions I do not have too much hope for their recovery.

After I cancel my order:
Promise: "7 days for the funds to be seen in your account."
"restructuring on our payment"
".. escalated to our payment partners to expedite the process."
"Please allow us few more days to fulfill your refund and we will monitor your order closely."
"I am hopeful that your refund will be initiated in the coming days ahead (if not sooner)."
"Please be informed that the reimbursement of your funds is being followed up with the relevant department. "
So this company have a excuse generator and keep our money long as they can.
26 days and I still waiting my refund.
Looks like fraud to me.
If you see on the reply (no only this one all reply in here) VB just use a same empty words.
"... refund shall be processed as soon as possible."

Its a shame to see what happened to them. I personally never had a issue spent a lot of money with them and and got really good deals. Only has to request my money back once in May this year and got it all back in 7 days. I was never a scam, just the company went tits up.

I made an order on 21st June of a Sigma lens 18-35mm 1.8 which costed 579,99€ and it was never shipped.
I contacted many times by email and they said always the same. Like a template message in Spanish saying that they were trying to send it as soon as possible and asking sorry for the delay with the justification that they were very busy.
Called by phone (Maltese number, the only available at the moment) and they said to call in the end of the week if the situation remains the same. Trying to call last friday... Nothing. Site not working. Arrived to this site and can see man others in the same lame situation. It's a shame. 579,99€!!!!
It was not the first time i bought on valuebasket, in the last 2 years i ordered two canon cameras, a gopro and a canon lens and never had problems. Everything arrived well packed and safe.
Now this bad, really bad situation...
Still can't believe, still don't know what to do. Hopeless?

Ordered a phone 15th June. Money taken from our a/c 16th June. We thought delivery would be soon. Chased four times by phone. Realised it was not going to be delivered 12th July. Asked for refund. Told it would be back in our a/c within 7 days. Now chasing for a refund as we bought the phone elsewhere. Many many excuses. This is extremely poor customer service. Do not use.

I have file an online cyber crime report to Hongkong police . plz file your report/incident to them. I receive email from them that they are taking this matter serious.

My smartphone stoppend working after 10 days of use. I've requested full refund. They wanted to organise a local pick up. My parcel has been ready with all paperwork but courier has not picked it up yet - every day during last 14 days I've been contacting them, every day I have been promised to have it organised.. no result yet... Disgusting I will be ringing my credit card fraud department later as I have no idea whether I've been conned or they are just a terrible company. I must have sent around 30 emails. LG G4 FAKE PRODUCT DELIVERED BY VALUEBASKET.
Now as a customer, I am in huge łoss because of their poorest service and fake product. Almost they cheated. Don't belive them, but any way they closed their company. But loss is in customer end. ..not sure why UK government policies missed in these to benefit for customer. Now I'm in loss of nearly 300GBP...WHO will give this to me? Is it Lloydsbank from where I transferred money? But I contacted them,they said that they can't help it. Then who?
But UK government policies are not upto the mark. Otherwise that would have stopped it.
