I bought a Sony a 6000 with 2 accessories for the best price I could find on the market and had no problems at all. It was 2 years ago more or less so I dont remember if it came on time but If it didnt, it didnt took long anyway. I did bought an item that I wanted to send back because it wasnt fitting my needs and didnt get full refund because i opened it, but it says on their politics they dont give the full refund if you open the package so even if its stupid, at least they warned me.

The story begins with an online purchase of a camera - from what seems like a reputable company with fabulous deals. Oh, how wrong I was....
I realised an hour after my purchase that I had been scammed. As predicted, the item never arrived. I was sent into a spiral of 'apologies for the inconvenience caused' posts. But I highly doubt the validity of this apology.
At the end of 8 long, working days I contacted Mastercard, who already knew of ValueBasket's dodgy online antics. The gentleman on the phone had actually had a call about Value Basket that very same day!! Thank you to Mastercard for saving the day and refunding my £600 - it was most certainly lost in the Value Basket scam pit. I feared it lost for ever in a haze of emails.
I must reiterate - this company is NO-VALUE Basket. (If you have already purchased something here, contact your card provider immediately!).

They take your money and never send you the product. I strongly discourage people form buying any item from this company. I have had a horrible experience which has cost me 644 euros, almost 3 months of my time and nearly 60 emails exchanged thus far. From avoiding my questions to take my money, the service has been the worst ever!!! Stay away from there, thats my advice!

AVOID - Order a Samsung S7 from Value basket because it was going to save me £150-£250 if I was to go somewhere but as with anything its not always about price. The companies business model is flawed as they're attracting consumers taking a hit on their profit to then bring in more custom but then not doing the most important thing, and that's meeting customer expectations as they're happy to take your money from your bank but then when it comes to delivering the item, it's no where to be seen. Ordered the S7 on 24th May and just called CS to be told that it would be dispatched later next week possibly the 10th June so If they do dispatch it on the 10th then wait another 3 days for it to be delivered (so they say anyway) then that's 3 weeks in total from ordering my phone (that I was looking forward to getting) to get it delivered. By far my worst buying experience ever!!!!

I am a Polish customer, who ordered a digital camera at the end of March through valuebasket.pl. On the 28th of April I decided to cancel the order, as I had no perspective of further cooperation. I made a phone call to England, and a lady explained that the camera will arrive during the first week of May 2016. [I have a strong feeling my e-mails were interpreted as to keep hold of cash as long as possible]. Since the 3rd of May, when I decided to definately cancel [or Value Basket decided for me - they don't read all the threads!], I have no cash returned. I strongly suspect this, and many other situations resemble FINANCIAL PYRAMID tactics [eg.: mail answering scheme, answering mails before work hours 5-6:00am, phones in GB, USA, Ireland, Poland - do not work]. In light of the above I may be the first brave to seek outside help. I have made a STATEMENT at the local POLICE OFFICE. Questioning took between 1-2 hours. I hope no one else falls for these fraudulent tricks!
MY ADVICE: Buy lowest offers, but at approved and tested retailers (DIXONS, official dealers, etc.). REMEMBER! 10 Times you save, the 11th you might loose all your savings from the first 10 transactions!
F_R_A_U_D_U_L_E_N_T!!!
UPDATE 21.05.2016
How is this possible, that answers by Valuebasket staff expose full names of people who complain!!! Is this their method of humiliating customers that fell for their promises?!
One other thing: I've read some entries about deleting comments on opineo.pl. Later yesterday I browsed through the comments on trustpilot, and tried to recover my trustpilot password on an Internet-unprotected smartphone straight after browsing. Guess what! I couldn't reach my mail! Google works, I log on my mail, but instead of posts, a "Forbidden error 403" appears in strange typography. Weird? I accessed my mail earlier that day, and many times before with no problem, on the same device. Never had this on a smartphone.
Last recommendation: If you pay by Paypal or card, you might get your money back. I payed by card. Thanks to the negative comments I initiated cash refund through the card insurance. Thank you all other customers for feedback, which might help.
UPDATE: 07.06.2016 LYING THIEVES!!!
On the 3rd of June 30 days money back guarantee expired. Did not get my money. STAY CLEAR and FAR AWAY! Requested charge back from my card. They didn't even bother to return 44PLN/about 10EUR for colour upgrade which I payed by transfer!!! FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD, selective money returns. Financial pyramid. Earning money on interest. No help from any authority even POLICE - it's Hong Kong. STAY AWAY!
LIARS!!! THIEVES!!!

I placed an order earlier this week for some Jabra Bluetooth sports headphones. However although payment has been taken Ive not received any information relating to my order to confirm receipt or when the items will be dispatched. I didnt create an account I ordered using the guest process.
I have tried to contact valuebasket but get the recorded announcement sying they have a technical problem with their phone system. I do not believe this and believe that they do not have a presence in the UK. I will be referring Valuebasket to the appropriate authorities in the UK (trading standard etc) to have the UK arm of this organisation investigated. I will also be contact the BBC programme Watchdog to warn the UK consumers that this company is not reputable

We made a order on the second of April'16 for a Canon 750D digital SLR camera for our upcoming holiday. The expected delivery would be between 6 and 10 work days. Now 12 days later we still haven't had any tracking number or what so ever. Calling the Dutch customer service office is not possible. The lines are Always out due to technical problems, so no possibility to contact them trough this line. Response on an email gives us no answer only that they are under staffed in the Dutch department. Well it shippes from Hong Kong right? Not from the Netherlands. We are very worried not receiving this camera.
Can you please give u more info about the dispatch, otherwise we have to cancell this order, and buy this somewhere else......!
Valuebasket,
We cancelt our order 48 hours ago. We did not get a response for this cancellation. We want our money back asap. We have to order this camera somewhere else before our holiday.
If we do not get a response we have to contact Mastercard to refund our money.

I'm from the Netherlands and have ordered an Ipad air 2 from their Dutch website on the 16th of March. I wish I hadn't read the reviews of Valuebasket after my purchase :( I really had no idea...
My order still hasn't the status that it's shipped. I've tried to call them, but no one ever answers!! They also do not reply to e-mails!! So I've decided to cancel the order, I hope I'll get my money back...I'm so frustrated :( :(

I'm being a bit kind with the 4 star review as you'll see but I can't fault the overall customer service.
I ordered a very expensive prime telephoto lens on Sunday, 31 January. I was pretty nervous (understatement!) as I'd read a lot of negative reviews before ordering but I decided most of them related to problems around cancellation (prompted by people reading the negative reviews after ordering). Also, as I was using a credit card, I knew I had the protection afforded by section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act (please refer to Martin Lewis's Money Saving Expert website if you're not aware of this protection).
Immediately on placing my order I received an order confirmation email. The next morning, I received a "your order is on hold" email as they wanted to do some verification checks. I don't blame them. This was a big ticket item and, in their shoes, I would want comfort that I was who I said I was. I supplied the requested information (standing anti-money laundering proof of ID and address info). The next morning (2 February), I received a phone call from Value Basket just double-checking a few things. All fine as far as I'm concerned. Straight after that call, I received email confirmation that my order was now being processed.
However, on 8 February , I received an email apologising that the item was not in stock. I was given the option of a refund or choosing something else. I emailed customer services to check if they had any visibility on when they would be back in stock. I received a prompt reply. As they didn't know when they would be back in stock, I opted for a refund. This was on 10 February. I then had a couple of emails from customer services acknowledging my request, confirming that the refund had been processed and explaining that it might then take a few extra days to show up on my credit card/bank account. Visa processed my refund on 15 Feb. So in terms of my interactions with Value Basket, I was happy. Thank you Agatha, Romar and Sheila for your professionalism.
However, throughout this whole time (and for at least a week before I actually placed my order), the item I wanted was showing as in stock on their website. In fact, it said they had five of them. Even today, it says they have five items.
Value Basket, this is pretty frustrating for customers. Please could you look at improving your software so that your website shows real-time stock levels. I could have accepted your explanation that you went out of stock between me ordering and you processing the order, but for at least a month now your website shows the item as being in stock. Given that you take payment at the time of ordering, this is really important. I wasted at least two weeks by having ordered through Value Basket. Luckily, the refund came through during the same Visa card statement period so I'm not out of pocket.
I wouldn't rule out using Value Basket again but I think next time I would email customer services to check whether they really did have stock before I ordered (especially if I was in a hurry for the item).
Also, another reason why a 4 star review is justified is that Value Basket had the item listed at a VERY good price (a bit cheaper than other grey market retailers and considerably cheaper than UK retailers. I can't even consider buying this lens at the UK prices. So, again Value Basket, please improve your stock level reporting.

by these gentlemen I bought Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Over-Ear Wireless and immediately I had problems. As soon as I received the goods I reported power adapter does not comply with Italy (nowhere in the site was written that the product has an english power adapter, moreover the site is in italian...).
They have asked me to provide photographs of the pack and after more than 14 days they replied that the adapter was in the box, pretending not to understand my problem. So gone are the 14 days to request a refund.
Now I need to take advantage of the guarantee but despite my emails no one has taken over my practice.
At Apple, in Italy They provides the official maintenance for BEATS, they told me that the product has virtually no guarantee because not bought in Italy (but i did the order on the italian site!!! so under the italian law).
Unreliable site, stay away.

Huawei Mate 8 ordered at ValueBasket (price was very attractive), delivery was about 2-3 weeks (was stated on the site as well); delivered product is obviously a retail demo model;
- it starts instead of Android welcome start screens with demo video
- it has still an attached screen protector plastic on (NOT on unused, out of the box mobiles).
It took me a day to get rid of the demo video; screen protector stays on. Mobile looks also cross-flashed; number of setting items do not show up (see on XDA developers about cross-flashing).
All together: bad experience; price is sharp; but a cross-flashed retail demo model instead a new one -nono.

I ordered and paid £853 for a drone on 15 December, the item took ages to be dispatched and was eventually given a delivery date early Jan. When the item did not arrive I called the courier Hermes who advised my parcel was lost by them. Since then Value basket have been investigating. They are like a bunch of robots on the phone and their emails are just standard responses. They are fully insured with Hermes but still will not refund my money. The goods have been missing by Hermes for over a month and the courier has admitted fault. I do not understand how this company are permitted to trade in the UK and will be contacting trading standards. I want my money refunded but they are avoiding this by keep responding that the case is under investigation and my request to speak to a manager gets ignored..
I am now very irate with this company and will seek legal advice.

I ordered a camera lens from this company, it was advertised as in stock and the delivery time was stated as 5 to 8 days, well the time passed and nothing arrived so I checked the order status on their website, it still wasn't despatched, so as I now needed the kit urgently, I went and bought one locally, I asked value basket to cancel and refund the money and got an e mail stating they were sorry and would refund me in a few days, this was on the 19th Jan, its now Feb 5th. So I've tried to contact them again, by phone and via e-mail. The UK phone number just goes to annoying music, but I've got a confirmation that they have got my e mail. Maybe this is an isolated incident, but I won't be using them again.
update, its now Feb 11th, and finally I have been informed that the refund is on its way (but they say please allow a few working days, not very exact?) When it hits my card account I will post an update. Maybe this is an isolated incident but if it is, then I won't be using them again to find out

I'm still not sure if this website is a hoax, but do NOT use it under any circumstances. Customer service is awful and the delivery times are inaccurate (or false in my case - they never posted the lens I bought).
Pay a bit more money and use a reputable retailer - valuebasket are a disgrace.

DO NOT USE VALUE BASKET pay the extra fiver.

People please do not order from this company. I have had a nightmare with them and don't wish this upon anyone. I ordered from Valuebasket the first week of December a pair of headphones for over £200 for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. I did not receive the item and and it has been a nightmare trying to find out where my order is or if anything can be done. Firstly their telephone number never works so there is no way to speak to anyone. I must have tried calling over 50 times in the space of 2 weeks before I could get through to anyone. I have sent over 10 emails asking where my order is and they reply the same thing every time saying "we are sorry for the inconvenience and working on it" I asked for a refund and they respond with this. Christmas came and gone and still no sign of my order and I finally manage to get through to someone in Hong Kong who was not helpful what so ever. She looked into my order and immediately said I should cancel it and get a refund. I requested my refund after a month of waiting and she assured me I will get my money back in 5 working days, this was on 29th December. It is now 6th Jan and still not refund. I am angry and annoyed and wished I never used this site. I am not sure I will get my money back but I do not want anyone else going through this.
