Really disappointed on how they handle customer service. We reserved a hotel room at panama city, but days ago the reports have been saying that the weather was bad due to hurricane barry,beaches were closed to the public, they even have double redflags on those days. We called days ago to cancel due to the weather and ask for refund since its weather related but they said to only refund if it is an emergency state. We hoped we they would consider Has been going on for weeks, poor communication, they keep making promises to either call u or ff up with the hotel yet nothing really happens.called the hotels(also was not receptive). Overall im not happy on how it turned out just left you hanging, been a month already yet thw response is always the same. Ive gotten tired already so i give up. Im never booking w vacatia anymore.they couldve at least given us a compensation in return, that one night costs us 400 bucks it all went to nothing. Just really disappointed and unhappy with the service.

We reserved a room at the Parkway International Resort in Orlando for 4 nights and it was more than we could have expected. Vacatia kept us up-to-date on our reservation and there were no hidden fees. We requested a remodeled room and we loved everything about it! We can't wait to book again! Thanks for helping make this the trip of a lifetime! :)

This is my second day on vacation and my family is still not in the unit that we booked for the 21st through the 28th. I called yesterday and spoke to the Westgate Myrtle Beach and they told me my unit was ready. We arrived after a 13 hour drive to be stuffed in a very small Hotel room, because they rented our unit!!!!!!!!! The hotel room is a 2 Star at best. Very small. I have called Customer Service and have left my number numerous times. I have also sent emails with no response. However I did get an email from Camilla about enjoying our stay. What a joke. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had on a vacation rental. The fine print did not cover them renting our unit and sticking us in a hotel room at a ridiculous rate of what we paid for the unit. The hotel gave us a 50$ gift card for their restaurant and waved our resort fees but also promised to resolve first thing this morning. I checked at the desk this morning and they basically did not understand how or why this was an issue. I don’t understand how a resort and Vacatia can double book a unit and leave the consumer hanging.

Please be aware of
Hidden resort and cleaning fees totaling more than 130 dollars for a single 2-night stay-(it will not be cleaned while we are there) the company can be reached after hours on FB
It is entirely unfair of the website developers to hide the extra charges- the other booking companies do not do this. Additional fees tab collapsed and not marked making this info hidden till after booking.

The price wasn't bad. But there were alot of misrepresentation and fine prints that needs to be read carefully. They do give a 2% military discount. They show a early check in fee rate at $35, when in reality it is $85. There is a $20 a day resort fee. They do not honor their price match policy. This will be our last booking through this company. VRBO will be our 1st choice being that the same villas we rented was half the price a night through them.. Good luck

So, we had a rather large group all travelling to Vail, CO for a wedding. We decided that we didn't want to stay in the heart of Vail but rather more on the outskirts. We heard of this company called Vacatia , decided to do a little research on the web and was able to book a Premiere 3 bedroom unit to house 3 adult couples. Our only concern was whether each bedroom had at least a queen in each and not bunk beds? Lauren, the Vacatia rep. I dealt with called ahead to confirm this for us, and also re-confirmed the week before we left which eased our minds. We ended up running late due to rental car, traffic, etc...from our flight but the guest services called me and directed us where to go and pick up our keys. Once we arrived we were told we had been upgraded to a bigger space, wow! The Elkhorn Lodge was beautiful to say the least! Our unit was 2 floors of amazingness, with an extra loft, sleeping quarters added. We had other friends who also booked this resort who were upgraded as well. We were able to shuttle to Beaver Creek directly from our unit, we rode the gondola and hiked directly from our unit as well. In addition to the wedding my husband was turning the big "60". The resort helped to accommodate extra guests for a Birthday Bash which turned out fabulous. Thanks Vacatia for making this VERY PLANNED trip a huge success! We will definitely be booking through you again. Don, Rina & the whole crew. :)

Worst vacation ever! Fortunately, it was only a 2.5 hour car ride to go back home. The villa was dirty, smelly, and old. There were not enough tables in the restaurants to accommodate all the guests or lounge chairs by the pool. If we were not at the pool by 9am, we sat at a picnic table - so much for relaxing in the sun. If we were not at the restaurant by 5pm, we ate PAPA JOHNS - I can do that at home. I tried to book some spa services for myself and my daughter and the girl at spa reception was so rude, instead of relaxing - I left annoyed. NICE! We only stayed 2 of the 6 nights we had booked and 1 week later I still have NO REFUND. I will be calling my credit card company tomorrow to see if they will cancel payment equal to my refund amount. I will never use or recommend VACATIA to anyone - not even people I don’t like. Total waste of my vacation time from work and my kids spring break was ruined, not to mention, now the headache of refund issues. What a mess!

I would of gave it 5 stars if the communication was a little better. I think they need to send you a email when it comes closer to your vacation. I had to call to make sure everything was still ok. When you go online & login...it shows nothing & you start to get scared. When I called they said the online only shows for members that rent out their property. They said that they don't have it where customer can actually see their rental agreement. They need to fix that.

Great great great place for family and friends only thing bad I will say is a problem that can be fixed around the pool at night u might see a few big rats but they r not in the town homes or nothing jus at nite around the pool comin from the field on the side of pool but a1 place

I was skeptical about using Vacatia but wanted to give it a try. I will be using Vacatia again as I was pleased with the payment schedule for my vacation,the emails letting me know that money was going to be drafted,the email just before I went on vacation and the customer service that I received when I had difficulty at tMyrtlewioods Villas in Myrtle Beach SC due to habing to move serveral times because the owners said they had King beds when in fact they were just queens. I was presently suprised with Vacatia. My entire experience with Vacatia exceeded my expectation.

Master bedroom door didn't look. Guest member from top floor be walking and opening that patio door all nigh long that I tough they were moving furniture around never mind I'll give you a 2 star

OMG! you know how sometime you make reservations and the place look nothing like the pictures? Well this was not one of those times. everything was just like the pictures. The customer services was exceptional. I would defiantly go again.

We stayed in a room on the 18th floor with a great view! Plenty of room, very clean and comfortable. We liked the short driving distance to Disney and the large and inviting outdoor pool. We knew there would be no maid service for our 4 day stay but we weren't aware that we had to launder the bath towels if we didn't want to use the same towels for 4 days! Fortunately there were also 6 pool towels in our room and we used the small washing machine and dryer in the room but the dryer was not very efficient as it took several cycles to fully dry the towels. Overall nice stay at the Blue Heron in Orlando.
