Do not use this company!!! If there was a -10 rating my friend would give it. I am writing on behalf of my friend because she so is devastated by the horrible treatment of the management. The floors are made of cheap white, dusty, powdery cement. It gets on your clothes, boxes, wheels & you breath it in. The manager told my friend to buy a tarp at her own expense & put it on the storage floor before putting her belongings in storage to avoid this dusty powder. 3 months go by, 2 months of which we’re not accessed and there’s water on the floor caused my the condensation & tarp in the dark storage unit. The employee told her to buy the tarp. Enrique the new manager says there’s no damage. My friend’s clothing is moist and musty Odor of mold. They make her leave immediately and make her pay for the remaining time she was in there. Enrique would not let my friend use the free moving truck they advertise (no one was using it, he would not extend hours so she could move faster & he said he’d leave the dolly cart for her in an unlocked storage unit. When she came by the storage unit was locked and no one was there, so he played a cruel trick on her and she had to move everything one by one. She moved in the heat in 2 days at her own cost. Enrique refused to give my friend the district manager’s name (Sophie Torres) and he said she would contact my friend. No one ever called my friend back and they never compensated her for damages or apologized. They think it’s perfectly fine to have water in a dark enclosed storage unit where you store all your worldly belongings. They rip you off, abuse you, cause damage and treat you horribly.

After discovering myself that the climate controlled 10x20 unit had flooded do to shooty construction all of are boxes where soaked on the bottom are photo albums, pictures ,yearbooks clothing soaked . The humidity was so bad that the boxes that didn't get wet where soft and damp. They never called to notify us or anyone else what had happened
And at the end of the day the standing water inside the building was still there .they made know effort to clean any of it up. I feel sorry for the people hows units were flooded and still where not notified
We buried my wife's father earlier that week Had only two to be out of are house we sold And attend my daughter's graduation from college by the weekend. When the manager of the unit didn't like my tone of voice she evicted us. Even though they had already charged us 200.plus for the month. The district manager was there and said or did nothing till we called corporate who gave us the runaround.
We were given a sheet to right down items that were damaged how much we paid how much the replacement cost it .BECAUSE WE HAVE NOTHING BUT TIME ,RIGHT!!
To top it off when were trying to to remove the last of are stuff the manager tries to take one of the carts we were using away from my son a Marine and Iraqi war vet With full disability saying regular business hours are over. My other son starts filming her actions and she tries to take his phone or block him and pushes the hitting him in the face ,and yes it's all on video. That's my US STORAGE EXPERIENCE.

I have been renting 2 storage units from the Phoenix, AZ location since before this company took over. Since then, the 8x12 storage unit had the hasp (not my lock) cut off the door and almost all of the fully packed unit floor-to-ceiling stolen. Now this would have taken an extremely long time to accomplish and wouldn't you know all of the security cameras surrounding my storage unit were broken! (This was, by the way an inside storage unit). Apparently, after they took over they allowed access to the building after business hours without sending any notification to it's customers. I had to leave on an emergency to the East coast to tend to an elderly relative so I did not frequent the facility to check up on things. I tried to use the "Mandatory" insurance I had been paying for only to be told that it had been cancelled several months back. Why???? IT"S MANDATORY!!! The staff was incredibly indifferent and non caring to the total devastation I felt and additionally felt violated by theitr lack of security for my irreplaceable memories that I had entrusted to their care. their idea of compensating me for the thousands of dollars worth of items was to give me a month of free rent. I will be pursuing legal representation going forward.

They don't even deserve a star, I've tried to stick around even if the service is pathetic but enough is enough.i don't even know why you let some people work there.. this woman I think her name is Theresa from the Denton office in Texas turned me down 15 minutes before they closed and all I wanted was a cart and an access code. Which wasn't even going to take five minutes. We all want to get off when it's time to get off but customer service is all about going an extra mile for a customer which I wasn't even asking for. I was already there and she turned me down. I drove a lot of miles to get there but all my time and gas was wasted because one person didn't want to help. I wonder why you let such people work in such jobs when all they care about is themselves and not even the job that feeds them. I pay a lot of money for that unit and all I get is crapy service! I'd rather take my service somewhere else.

Excellent friendly service, the area is well protected with cameras and gates and the rates are by far the best rates I've come across so far. If you are in need of a storage unit I would definitely recommend this place.

Since buying out Move It Storage in March this place has gone rapidly down hill.
1. Price increase (immediate).
2. Guest internet cancelled. (immediate).
3. Night security guard drive through (2x a night) cancelled. (immediate).
4. No proper screening of applicants. (immediate).
(A.) Thieving is now prevalent.
5. Poor to no maintenance.
(A.) Outside entrance door will not shut properly. (since April).
(B.) Battery back up for the fire alarm is beeping. (since June).
(C.) No sprinkler for the trees and lawn. (since July,).
(a.) Two trees now dead.
(D.) Poor lawn maintenance, Now none. (since May).
(a.) Lawn is now overgrown and full of weeds).
(C.) Exit gate stays open when it rains. (starting in September).
(D.) Security cameras do not work. (as of August).
(E.) The A/C runs even at 70 degrees and colder outside.
(F.) The motion detectors for the lights are inoperative.
The manager and assistant manager are incompetent do nothings.
Up to three layers of "Brass Hats" show up regularly for "audits", yet
nothing gets repaired or improved in any form or fashion. (more "Chiefs
than Indians"). I have called and emailed repeatedly to obtain the insurance requirements for contracting maintenance for this company with never a return response. I am now moving after having operated a small business from this storage for 2 1/2 years. I have never been late on rent, and keep my unit neat and clean (I have clients there at times). The manager is now asking me to shut down during audits (when his boss and boss's boss's boss) show up for another "audit". I am disgusted with the extremely poor service, condescending attitudes of the "managers", and having to watch everything and everybody when loading and unloading my delivery van. These people waste water (the sprinkler now works but just gushes water out of the underground plumbing, and waste electricity with excessive A/C and unneeded lights on all the time.
They also seem to have plenty of money for multiple layers of "Brass Hats". Yet apparently they have no money to do repairs and simple routine preventative maintenance.
DO NOT RENT STORAGE WITH THIS GROUP, THEIR STASSNEY LOCALE IS EVERY BIT AS BAD AS THIS ONE ON WASSON RD. A ONE STAR RATING IS TOO MUCH FOR A PLACE THAT I WOULD GIVE A MINUS FIVE IF POSSIBLE.

Well I have never delt with such a horrible company and one that talks down to it customer. I had an issue and had to speak to a district manger and was called a mutiple senator names and other names well in the store in front of customers.
I thought we needed a unit for some items but decided to cancle with an a few hours of renting the unit. Was told that they would issue a refund for the time left. All this really bad experience started just because I need a document a month later showing cancled also checking on a refund status after losing a family member.

If i could give a negative score of 100 I would. Not only is there no way to contact customer service, but their RAT (YES I SAID RAT) INFESTATION. Has destroyed most of my belongings. They have rat traps everywhere now around the place. Are they responsible for the decimation of my property because of this? I have irreplaceable family photos, clothing, antique furniture, blankets, towels, ALL COMPLETELY RUINED!!!!!!! GGGRRRRRRR. How frustrating.

The worst. I've been with this company for a few years ...
Once, I was locked in the lot. My trailer was parked outside and at night the motion sensors get turned on. A few minutes before closing I called to be let out of the back. I got the call center. Jules apparently had left early locking me in. He knew I was there because he had let me in. The call center told me that there should be a remote access code for the gate. There was not. It's a padlock. Because Bert and Jules couldn't be reached I had to call the fire dept. I wasn't about to stay all night. It was then Karen showed up and let me out. The alarm hadn't even been set...Jules locked me in on purpose...I never filed a complaint.
Once I went to pick up my RV (I had 2 there at the time) Ashley let me in the gate. She went to go get the air compressor because on of my tires was a little flat. I went to the restroom. When I came back, Jules had moved my trailer and ripped off my tire and just left my trailer in the middle of the parking lot and was walking away. When I asked what I was supposed to do, he shrugged. I had to take the wheel off and then take the tire up to a repair shop and pay to have someone put the tire back on and then go back and put the wheel back on. I'm 5' 100lbs...that wasn't easy for me. I had no help. I never filed a complaint.
I took my 2nd trailer off the lot so I could finish the repairs. I didn't want to do them there after being locked in. When I brought it back, the entire staff had been replaced.
The new staff couldn't find my old paperwork so I filled everything out again. No big deal. I was on the lot last month and notified one of the new employees (don't know the name) that I would be leaving at the end of the month. Then 8 days before the end of the month I called to confirm that the request had be put it. It had not. I spoke with Dexter who informed me that since it wasn't the full 10 days (despite notifying someone earlier in the month) before the end of the month he would need to get permission but the manager was in a meeting and therefore would call me back. I never got a call back. I needed to take a couple of measurements for the new decals so I just went in person and checked in with the office to make sure the request for vacancy had been issued. Again, it had not. I filled out whatever paperwork the girl (didn't get a name) asked me to fill out...BUT since now it was only a couple of days before the end of the month and she "wasn't the one I spoke with originally" she was going to start the 10 days from that date NOT when I had made the original request that it would take me a few days into June. I informed her that I was going to be in Missouri then so we pushed the pick up date for when I returned on the 15th. On the 15th I went and picked up my trailer. Colby and Chris were great. I signed whatever paper they gave me and left. Then today I got an invoice stating that I was late on the June payment and a late fee had been added. I immediately called the office. Spoke with Dexter again. He told me that he had taken my account off of autopay when we spoke so they hadn't charged me for June but he still had my credit card number so he could charge me the full amount of $135. I said No because I wasn't there the whole month. He then informed me that they didn't prorate the end of the month only at the beginning so I either should have stayed to the end of the month or left at the end of last. I reminded him that I tried to but was told that I didn't give enough notice (even though I had) and this was the agreed upon date since I had had to leave town. I was never informed that I would be charged for the entire month. The girl I spoke to knew the situation. If I had, I would have stayed until the end of the month instead of paying $500 for the remainder of June at the food truck commissary...Once again Dexter said he would have to check and call me back. Instead of getting a call back, my card was charged WITHOUT my authorization for the full amount. I called the office and spoke to Rick, the manager and the biggest asshat I've ever had the misfortune of speaking to. He was rude and disrespectful. He took no responsibility for his employees mistakes saying "well it wasn't me who you spoke to so there's nothing I can do." He was belligerent yelling at me he had made several attempts to reach me but when I informed him that I had been out of town tending to my father who had just a stroke and that there was no cell reception where I was he continued to berate me and refused to reverse the charge on my card despite not having permission to charge it. Actually I gave explicit instructions NOT to charge it. I snapped right back. I have never been treated so appallingly bad in my life. I had to notify my bank of the fraudulent charges and have to get a new credit card. I have also filed a complaint with the BBB.
2 entirely different staffs and still the absolute worst experience. Avoid at all costs.

Todd is the heart and soul of this place. Unequalled customer service, indefatigable, and shows genuine enthusiasm and caring in his work. We had the best experience storing household goods at this US Storage while we were moving. Todd was always helpful, and worked tirelessly maintaining the facility and assisting tenants.

I'd easily recommend these units to be used by anyone- students, families new in town, and even for the holiday clutter-
They have the best prices in town, and I was extremely taken aback at how CLEAN these units are- they're temperature controlled, they're VERY secure, the walls and doors are very sturdy, and the management just goes above and beyond! All questions answered in detail and the professionalism is top-notch-
Would highly recommend, and even the smaller units are incredibly affordable

I was greeted with warming customer service and was able to get a storage unit same day with no hassle. It only took about 5-10 minutes. It started raining and the manager Lorenia was nice enough to go out of her way to help so my belongings wouldn't get wet. The storage is easy to access with your own personal code to the lot. Furniture in same condition as i left it. Never had an issue with making payments. Will definitely return next time I need a storage. US Storage 4115 E Speedway Blvd Tucson, AZ.

The place was always clean. Never a problem finding carts to load and unload my stuff. If I needed anything there was always someone there to help me, and the bathrooms were super clean. I was kinda sad that I didn't need my unit anymore. Thanks US Storage for a great experience.

I don't have any issue or concern with the cleanliness of the property or the security of the facility. My concern is the pricing of the units. I have the smallest unit. My first two months of rent were fair at $36. After that it went to $60.50 per month, about $13.50 more than the other storage facilities in the area. As of February this year, I now pay $65.50. Needless to say, I will be looking for another storage unit in the area.

I shopped around at all the storage places in vacaville. Uhaul, U-Store America, Airport self storage, Vacaville Self Storage, The one on peabody, even the really cheap place off Aegean and this place still had the best prices as of March 2015. And for being cheap the security ain't bad. On site management and high end surveillance cameras. The units aren't made out of that cheap wood stuff you sometimes see at cheaper places. I don't really understand why this place is cheaper because it seems no different than your average storage place. The staff is friendly and easy to deal with too as opposed to uhaul and their ridiclious offsite call centers they always transfer you too. No headaches. $20 admin fee, 10 by 5 unit is about $45 roughly, and insurance if you don't already have your own i wanna say is about $12 bucks. No security deposit required and you only pay for the first month at sign up and your not required to pay last months rent in advance. Easy. Online pay available they automatically issue you your username and password. Cash, check, credit, or debit, it all works. No contract either, month to month and leave whenever you want so as long as you give them I wanna say a 10 day notice or so. Indoor and outdoor available. Best hours too. Open 6am and closed at 10, only the 24 hour people beat that which u haul falsely advertises, at least in vacaville. They have budget truck rentals as well, but i had already went with a uhual truck rental so i don't know what their deals are on that. Wish i knew that before i went with uhaul. No issues with theft. Wish they had vending machines, only really bad thing i can say. Hope this review helps. Thanks.
